Got tons of compliments on this tea-length dress that I wore to a ballet fundraiser with a Peter Pan collar from Anthropologie (from about 10 years ago). I love being able to pair something new and modern like this architectural dress & give each a different twist. Also wore this on a separate occasion to a funeral just with the sleeves pulled up around my neck as opposed to off the shoulder for a more modest look.

This dress is a great example of architecture in fashion. The contrasting seams wrap and explore the wearer's natural build and are flattering. The neckline has elastic enabling the wearer to adjust the top to their personal style - it can be scoop, shoulder baring or a-symmetrical. I deliberately ordered a size down because I wanted a tailored fit however the next time I rent this I will order true to size. The fabric is cotton poplin with a slight stretch and is ideal for transitional seasons.

A nice not too basic black dress. Works for winter with tights, but the fabric is light and but but crisp, and it was prone to static so perhaps better for spring/summer. Generally true to size but nice and snug in the bodice. I can't imagine wearing it off the shoulders as the elastic seems tight (but I wasn't looking for that style anyway). It's a little tight under the arms when you wear it with the shoulders up, but not uncomfortable.

The fabric is lightweight and the cut is comfortable. My only complaint is that the elastic at the neckline made it difficult to keep "off shoulder" - especially when dancing. I ended up wearing it up like a scoop neck and I didn't like how it looked nearly as much.

Elegant but casual fabric. Very dramatic look and wide skirt. Loved it but beware - you will be pulling at the neckline to keep shoulders bare. Wore with silver jewelery and sorel black and white wedges.

The photos don’t do it justice. It’s a fun, comfy dress. Loved the fabric. Glad I read all the reviews on size. I’m typically a 2 or 4. The 8R was perfect.

Comfortable and stylish with unique sleeves -- I wore the British 8, and it was a perfect fit. Love the off shoulder option, but also wore it with them up on top of my shoulders: both look nice. Unlined, great for summer heat.

I’m usually a 12 or 14. The rental was a 16 and fit ok. The shoulders where small so I couldn’t wear it off the shoulders. The rest of the dress was well portioned.

Wore this to an annual event. Slicked back hair in pony tail. Large glasses. Heels. Got many compliments. Almost bought it but have many black dresses.

The color and the shape of this dress make it quite wearable, but the slight puff in the sleeve and the elegant seaming make it fashion-forward. The thin cotton is also incredibly comfortable and lightweight. I wore it to a fashion work event and got a ton of compliments, including from colleagues who told me to just buy it. (I didn't, the price!) The picture shows it worn off the shoulder, but I wore mine up - it sat better that way, and I think it looked better. It's also very figure flattering, despite being fitted in the middle - I'm an apple shape, and this still managed to emphasize a curve or two in a way I liked. Overall, I'd highly recommend this dress. It's super versatile, and wearable without being at all basic or ordinary.

Usually I am a size 4/6. Size worn = 10R. 36C Bust and I was able to wear it off the shoulder, no problem.

I received lots of compliments on this dress. It is 100% cotton so expect wrinkles, however, they do not deter from the look of the dress. When you receive it you will definitely have to iron or steam it. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat. Because of the elasticized shoulders, I was able to cover my shoulders to make the dress more work appropriate.

loved the length and the overall fit

Pretty dress but if you are looking to wear an off-the-shoulders look it is nearly impossible without constantly pulling it down whenever you move your arms. That took away the overall appeal of the dress. Constantly messing with my clothing is not the way I wish to spend my time.

It is supposed to be off the shoulder, but wouldn't stay! Otherwise fit is good. Nice dress.

Great dress for warm weather. It's a thin pop line which I wasn't expecting and doesn't work for NM winter. Also, the waist runs large.

The fit was a bit small, the off the shoulder style was cute and I liked the design but ultimately felt like I was in a big windbreaker.

I like an architectural, funky outfit but this one looked "off" on me. I am too busty to carry this look, even after sizing up. Would look best on a someone less chesty and with some height. But the quality is fabulous, it's just not something that works for my body type.

The neckline's elastic would not stay comfortably around my shoulders. It was still cute though- flattering, modern Audrey Hepburn style. The contrast top stitching and crisp fabric gives it a modern edge.

The elastic is def too tight, and it won't stay as off shoulder. The rest fits ok, I only wear once because the shoulder part is a bit Not comfortable.

Good material, not too long for my height it was a bit above the ankles. The elastic neckline was tight and I wore as regular collar instead of off the shoulders. The chest and torso was borderline tight for me so might be too tight for those with bigger chest. Fun sleeves for work from home.

This dress is very pretty and can be worn off the shelters or on the shelters. The fit was fantastic. Being on the petite side if I was wearing this with heels I think that would’ve changed the look to make it dramatic and a great transition from day to evening. I opted for flats and it was very pretty. I even wore it with sneakers!
