fit great

Absolutely loved this dress but despite being listed under “formal” when searching rent the runway, the world and internet considered it very much NOT formal. It is beautiful tho. Great pattern beautiful swing to the bottom. I did love it.

This dress was a last minute substitution and I loved it! Very easy to wear, comfortable to dance in. I don’t have photos of the full length but it hit me maybe just below my ankle, which was ideal for me. The sleeves and skirt are sheer. I have a long torso so the sheer part of the skirt starts just a smidge higher than I would prefer but I felt comfortable with hose on beneath and I doubt it made a difference anyway. Can wear a regular bra. Feels true to size, maybe a bit generous for 12. I got the 12 and 14 and would have worn the 14, too, but the 12 was perfect. Really loved this dress and would order again for my partner’s holiday cocktail party.

Wore this to the opera, it’s pretty and very comfortable. The sheer fabric is black so it looks different (darker) in person than what the RTR photos show. I wore a heel with it and it hit the floor perfectly (I’m 5ft).

I wore this to work and it was pretty and comfortable. The bottom from knee down is sheer. I wore red tights under and you couldn’t see them. I would size down in the future.

This has a great material but I can’t wear it anywhere due to where the sheer part starts on me. My bottom kicks out a bit, which caused the sheer part to start higher than I’d like. This is a beautiful dress though!

Festive and fun! The colors are vibrant. A little long but ok with 4inch heels.

Wore to a winter wedding and got so many compliments.

Honestly, this is one I probably wouldn't have picked off a shelf but it's much prettier on. I am almost always a size 6 and this fit but the chest a bit snug (I am a 34DDD so to be fair most things are snug in the chest area). I chose the slightly snug chest vs an overall loose fitting size 8. Zero discomfort in wearing the dress all night. If you float between sizes and have a larger chest I would size up.

Liked this dress a lot but ended up going with another dress I rented. It was a little big on me so I probably could have sized down. Dress was long barefoot but would have been fine once I put on heels.

Rented this to wear to work and it was a bit scandalous for that. Better for a cocktail party or wedding since the bottom half is sheer

I felt very old in this, and not in a cool vintage way. The bottom skirt is heavy so weighs the dress down.

I got this dress to wear for a wedding. I carry most of my weight in my hips, booty, and thighs. The top and bottom sheer parts were loose, but the middle was tight. It barely covered my butt. I would not recommend this if you have significant curves on the lower half of your body!

My daughter made fun of me in it when I tried it on. She said it was the ugliest dress ever!

It looks really different in person — it’s black and itchy sheer fabric with velvet hot pink flowers on it. The colors are very different to what it looks like in the photo. The fit is fitted and then kind of a mermaid skirt. It’s really not the same as the photo
