This was a great dress for a work-related formal event! It is a little low-cut however and the fabric tape didn’t do a great job, I think because of the nature of the fabric (velvet, a bit drapery). A safety pin probably would have worked better. I ended up wearing the XL because the L was a little too fitted around the hips.

Very well tailored to fit, and the side zipper makes for a perfect fit and made me look snatched. The velvet was nice, but not too heavy. Kept me warm for an early spring time outing.

I'm 5'5" and it was to the floor. Heel's preferred with this dress. Beautiful in every way- the detail, quality is superb. Incredibly comfortable- one of the best rentals ever! Would love to buy this timeless dress.

I'm a 10/12 pear, and this fit well. A little loose in chest but I'm pretty small up there! Felt so expensive.

I agree with other posts that the plunge is very deep so a plunge bra is needed (or go without if you can do that, I can't). Loved the feel of the dress and the length was perfect for me. I wore it with 3-inch heels. Also, I loved that I didn't have to be self-conscious about my arms not being toned enough and didn't have to worry about any weird tan lines. I've decided I like winter weddings. Long sleeves are it! I found it flattering.

I loved this dress and wish I could afford to buy it! Its not super heavy and the embroidery details are stunning.

I’m currently 7 months pregnant and this dress fit perfectly. It was very comfortable and quite beautiful. The neck like was a little deep for me so I used a pin to close part of it but could still be quite elegant without a pin.

I had an event at work, and I didn’t want to waste this beautiful dress by returning it without wearing it. I ordered the XL because i have preferred XL in other Rixo dresses. It was a bit loose, but so flattering. I received compliments all day long on the dress. I used double-sided tape to keep the top from exposing anything. I’m 5’9” and this fell just at my ankles. I would definitely rent it again for a party.

IN LOVE!!! This is the most perfect holiday/occasion dress. For a velvet fabrication, it's surprisingly not heavy at all and feels very lightweight and breathable. There is a side zip closure. I am smaller chested, so would personally go braless with this dress given the slight deep v, but you could probably get away with a standard or strapless black bra here. I am a petite (5'1) and this was a floor length style on me- I would likely have to wear a decent heel with this to avoid drag on the floor, but the length is definitely not overwhelming to the point where I'm swimming in it. Will be renting this for the holidays!!!

This is such a comfortable velvet - it's a great dress for a winter wedding or formal event in the colder months. I love that the sleeves are billowy and breathable (important for a velvet gown). The wrists on the sleeves were alittle tight but there are buttons that help! Embroidery is gorgeous and so luxe.

Stunning fall/winter dress. The cut is so cute, but you can't wear a regular bra because of the deep V. Super flattering and comfortable--a bit of stretch, and does not fit too tightly!

I got a lot of compliments but felt like I looked pregnant in the babydoll cut.

I ordered an XL and probably only needed an L but the XL was nice and roomy and not unflattering so I would order up again! The cleavage slit is way too low so I had to pin it, but no big deal.

The light weight velvet material allowed for comfortability and easy movement. I found my self constantly checking the neckline because it was a black tie event and I didn't want much cleavage exposure.

I was offered a second backup selection because my backup size of my first choice was out of stock, so I tried this one on and it fit beautifully and is a pretty dress, but it was velvet and it was a warm April day, so I wore a different one.

I wore for my home wedding reception in winter, such a stunner! Tons of compliments AND it’s comfortable. I’m 5’5” with longer torso, the length was long but not a hindrance barefoot. No bra needed either :)

Figuring out the boob tape/pasty/padding combo for this was HARD. It’s so low cut and the fabric is slouchy/heavy. It cuts to the top of your ribs/stomach. The embroidery and fabric are amazing. It’s a very beautiful dress but so low….and slightly more fitted in midsection than I wanted.
