Legit lost my mind when I saw this dress come available again for me to rent for my 30th birthday. Yes, the top is somewhat ill fitted for tiny chested people like myself. It's wide though the waist is tiny. I wish RTR had one size smaller. That is my ONLY complaint. The sequin straps are gorgeous, the low cut neck was perfect, the midi length is amazing. I came so dang close to leaving this one in my closet for a few more months. Cannot praise enough.

Overall, it seems like this is best for someone with a small waist and boobs. The dress is very pretty but was just off enough that I went with another dress. Main issue for me is the straps were too long (pictured). I have a short torso, so this wasn't a surprise. I'm a true size 6, but sized down to a 4 (8 in the brand) - it was very tight but still fit. The boob area was big, and I'm a D cup. Thankfully the material is this so no bra necessary!

I could never wear this dress in real life because of the price but it was so elegant and amazing. Classic fit and adds a little something with the back. Loved how heavy and stiff it was!

Got so many compliments on NYE for this dress! It is a great thick material with big pockets that fit all of my things! The straps were a little long, but otherwise it was perfect. Loved the glittery detail on the straps and that it hung the full length of the dress.

The back! is divine! Unfortunately the front has too much fabric in the bust area unless you are broad chested or have very large breasts (I say this as a 30E). If I owned it I would happily have it taken in and rock it is it is meant to be worn because despite its flaws it *feels* couture. I also found the waist to run a bit large to size and advise sizing down.

Maybe if I filled out the front more? I'm a C cup and it was just overwhelming in the front it looks matronly. The back is very cool

I tried this on for an upcoming summer wedding. It's gorgeous, nice heavy material and great back detail. I normally wear a 6 but the 10R/6 was way too big on top for me. I plan to rent this in the future a size down. Also would be better for a fall/winter event because of the weight of the material

Dress runs large. There wouldn't be enough fabric tape available to make it work.

I really love this dress, but the UK 16/US 12 was just a bit too big for me (I am between a US 10/12). I am hoping to rent it again in the next size down because it's a beautiful dress! The sequin down the back adds a touch of fun and it would have been great for my event!

Runs really big. The boob area is all kinds of funky for large chested girls. I wouldn't recommend renting this.

It is a beautiful dress. It's very heavy and definitely would be a good option to wear to a formal event in the fall. It was way too large in the bust area. I possibly could have made it work but it wouldn't have been comfortable.

Let me just say that this dress is truly beautiful. The material is heavy and luscious. However, the shape wasn't really for me (curvy, hourglass). It's fun to try on a dress this pretty though.

I am between 10-12 and I've ordered the 16 and 14 - both were too big. The biggest problem was how big it was on my B/C chest. The beautiful sequin straps hung limply down my back and the sides (by the armpits gaped. I don't even think the next size deon would work. This is definitely a dress where you need to tailor it and renting it doesn't work unless your body is just so. It's super sad because the fabric is beautiful - lustrous with a nice heft that speaks to the quality. Sad to send back.

On the one hand the dress is made of beautiful heavy fabric and has a nice weight to it (and pockets!) and the bare back with sequined straps is stunning. But because of the open back you clearly can't wear a bra, so would be great for my sisters with smaller breasts; but on the other hand the breast area of the dress runs rather large and even my un-swaddled breasts didn't fill out the large side-boob area. Not sure who would be flattered by this but I think silicone must be involved.

Fit runs very very small. I ordered this for my daughter. We ordered two sizes up. The waist line hit her right in the rib cage, and the top portion was too loose under the arms. Wanted to like it, but the fit just did not work.
