It is so beautiful. When I received it its buckle was detached. And I could see signs of it being fell off by previous consumers on the top and bottom of the clutch. I didn't hold it in hand and only left it on my table. It is so awesome to look at it but using it is a little hectic.

God I LOVED this bag!! I wore it to an upscale beach wedding and got TONS of compliments all night - guys and girls alike! It is a really cool focus piece and actually holds your junk. The only draw back is the clutch does not have a shoulder option...but I didn't need it.

I loved the look of this clutch, it was like a piece of jewelry that could also hold my phone and lipstick. However, even though I loved to look at it, I was nervous the entire night about what would happen to it if I dropped it -- kept having horrible mental images of the shell-halves shattering into a million pieces. If you're a klutz (like me) I'd pick something more sturdy than this delicate beauty.

The bag looks very similar to the picture - like a very pretty shell. However, it is much larger (and heavier) than I expected. I used it for a wedding and was really only looking for something to carry my hotel key, phone, and lip gloss but you could have easily fit an entire wallet in there. I ended up leaving it up in my room for most of the night because I kept dropping it (drinks plus heavy/awkward purse meant lots of unintentional slips of the hand!). I'd recommend it only if you plan to carry around many items and don't mind a heavier purse you'll need to carry in your hand.
