The tie-waist is a total game changer - it gives such a nice silhouette compared to buttons. It also handles the cold really well; as long as you layer up, it’s super warm and comfortable.

Loved this coat but I sized up to accommodate layers and that was a mistake. Get your true size!! It will still be roomy. It’s not super warm or thick fabric, and only has the tie/snap in the front to hold is closed so not a good option for super cold climates. Still, I loved this coat and got tons of compliments. I would buy it but it’s a little overpriced for what you get.

Maybe I just didn't know how to style it right, but it felt like I was wearing my robe on top of an outfit (derogatory). The belt is also a double knot (unlike the one in the photo review) and isn't tied easily. Waste of a spot for me.
