If you are between sizes, size down, especially if you want it closer to your waist more than on your hips. Perfect length, not too short.

Cute basic skirt, wore multiple times but wasn’t in love. Material is thin and no lining so if you have a larger backside, I felt it kept riding up.

I got this in my normal size and found the width to be too big (which never really happens for me with skirts) but the length was still so short! Not totally sure how to make this work. I had to wear it with sweaters only so people wouldn't notice the gapping in the hip region.
