Super versatile + super snug

I'm a serial Ref renter and while I'm normally a 2/4 in most brands, I go between a 4/6 with Ref. I rented both sizes in this dress and went with the 6 - it was STILL tight but allowed a little bit of forgiveness in the bust and waist. Anyway, it's super versatile so style it with booties to dress it up or white sneakers to dress down!

I rented this for engagement photos and it was perfect.

The dress is tighter across the stomach but a pair of spanx helped smooth it out.

Feminine and slimming!

Like other reviewers said, Reformation runs small. I am a 6 and I wore a 10! But the 10 fit so well from top to bottom. I kept the ties on the sleeves slightly looser and had no problem with them. It's a great piece with a softening effect. Loved it.

So flattering!!

I loved this dress! It was perfect for an October wedding. The only thing that was kind of awkward was the bows on the sleeves, kinda made it a little tight and bunched up under a sweater. But overall I absolutely loved it. Thought about buying it!

Fall wedding perfection

Perfect fit- especially if you have a straight and narrow body type. If not, I can see how you'd want to size up. Also, I'm 5'9"- so I liked the length. This wouldn't be ideal if you're shorter.

Effortless dress perfect for date night

When I first tried this on it felt a little snug in the arms and torso. But when I actually wore it for a night I was never uncomfortable and felt great. This also did a great job of showing some curve while still feeling modest.

Looooove

Loved this and not too long for 5'2". Conservative enough for work but absolutely made me feel like a million bucks. Size 2 was snug but not uncomfortable.

Sweet, modest floral

Like all Reformation dresses, you gotta size way up. This one was especially tight across the chest and shoulders, which usually isn't an issue for me. I went one size up and it was fine. I also got two sizes up and I could have easily worn that one too. It was a good ankle length that didn't touch the ground at all. I was able to hide leggings underneath (it was cold outside!)

Sweet dress for everyday wear. Fit really nicely in chest area, waist and hips. Now I know why everyone's obsessed with Reformation. Very tempted to buy this!

Great fall dress - runs small!

Reformation dresses tend to run 1-2 sizes small, as was the case with this one! Loved the fit and looked super flattering, got a ton of compliments.

Perfect dress for a day on Lake Como!

Still not sure if the lining of the dress was distressed, or if it was suppose to hang below the hem, but even that couldn't stop me from loving this dress! It was the perfect sundress for a day on the water.

Unique print and cut - but I loved it!

I rented 2 sizes larger than normal after reading the other reviews. Glad I did! It was fitted in the top down to the waist. From there it had slight flare and cut right above ankle on me - which I thought looked great with heels! Added a belt - felt less matronly with that added piece. Overall I loved it! Endless compliments and fit the wedding venue perfectly!

Morman sexy

It seems like it wouldn't be flattering, but it's cut really well and looks awesome on. It's pretty clingy and may require spanx, but otherwise easy to wear.

A little snug, but worth it for the look.

Which not uncomfortably tight, this was a big snugger of a dress than I normally wear to work - however, it was incredibly flattering. I work this to a casual work event and it was the perfect middle ground between dressed up and understated.

The fit was perfect and flattering. Love the cutout in the back, love the length, love the cut. Debating buying, especially since it will transition well to fall/winter.

Sized up for baby bump.

I am usually a 4 or 6 (likely 6 in reformation since i think it tends to run small for larger chested and wider hipped girls like me. But at 5.5 months pregnant I wore the 8 and it fit like a glove. It was super flattering and comfortable. I loved the sleeve detail and the midi length.

Nice dress. Good for work or many other occasions

I have to start by saying, I'm not sure if the sizing is US sizing but I am typically a 4/6 and based on reviews and RTR recommendations, I ordered a 10. The size fit great. It was comfortable, wrinkle resistant and looks nice. The bottom was a bit confusing, I am unsure if the lining hanging out was intentional or not. Either way, nice dress.

Flattering cut for a spring dress

Really beautiful cut that's quite flattering, especially to the waist since it sits so high. I found it quite tight in the upper arms, even though they tie I definitely had to loosen them. Hard to get the back zipped and buttoned by yourself. Plus the length is sort of weird. I'm 5'5" and it hit me exactly on the top of the foot so sort of looks strange with flats or with heels.

Very Nice

Very nice, full stop. Nothing earth-shattering, but very very nice. My favorite part of this dress is the length. Runs a teeny bit small especially if you are fuller in the bust or the hips (or both). The dress is a little bit restrictive around my arms, but then again I probably need to size up. Keep in mind the material doesn’t stretch at all & the silhouette is more revealing than you’d expect because of how it is meant to hug the body. If you are worried about the hole in the back, don’t be. I wore a regular bra & it did not show at all.

Gorgeous!!!

I had to size up from my usual but this was the most gorgeous dress. I looked 5'11" (I'm closer to 5'6") and got so many compliments on it. Something about it looks and feels expensive (probably because it's more than I've ever spent on a dress in my entire life) but without being flashy. I'd wear this every day if I could. Just be warned that the fabric has very little stretch so if it's tight when you're putting it on, it won't get any better (trust me--I tried). LOVED it. Will be renting again, maybe just to wear around my house.

Pretty, but black liner is longer than outside layer

I bought this dress on at RTR. I love reformation, it usually fits me well. For this dress, I found it odd that the black liner is a good 2-3 inches longer than the outside fabric, which is not how it is pictured, it’s like the outside shrunk. I will be hemming the liner so it doesn’t show. Otherwise, I still like the dress.

Cute, but didn't fit

I really wanted this dress to fit. I rented a size 6. Overall it fit well, but the problem was the arm area. The sleeves were too small even when I loosened the ties they still squeezed my arms and it was very uncomfortable. The material of this dress is not stretchy at all.

Runs small, even for Ref

This dress is pretty, but don't take the "runs small" lightly! I own a few Reformation items and I usually am a 10 or sometimes a 12. I ordered this in a 12 just to be safe and it baaarely fit. So beware!!
