I was happy I sized up to a large. The sweater fabric was thinner than expected and I was happy for that. It looked and felt lovely. A casual dress for work, comfy enough to wear out to dinner afterward

I know others were underwhelmed but I loved this dress. The fabric was great, placement of the color blocking, the fit - all great. It is short but with black tights and chunky ankle boots it worked. Wish I could have kept it. Love love love.

This was my first Valentino rental, loved this dress and only sad it took me so long to rent it! Great fit, a little short though.

My only critique of this dress is how short it is. Was perpetually readjusting for longer length. But otherwise it was super flattering and a great basic design and color.

I love this dress! I got so many compliments at work. I suggest sizing up if you don't want a tight fit. It looks tiny coming out of the bag but it stretches quite a bit and the fabric is excellent quality. It's a bit on the short side, so I suggest tights if that is not something you are comfortable with.

I absolutely adore this dress! So cute and so comfy to wear. It's a little short for work (I'm 5'8"), but with a pair of opaque tights, it was totally office-appropriate. Will rent again!

Rented this to wear to a house party. Planned to wear with tights, but it was so incredibly short that I couldn't wear it (5'8"). Nice fabric and cute pattern though. Maybe someone put it in the dryer?

Comfortable and fit well! A bit short, but with tights it was fine.

Lightweight knit dress but not so thin that it felt sheer. I don't know that I'd rent this again but it was a nice twist for my wardrobe.

UPDATE—Wore for a work party and when the pictures came in I was appalled. I am hoping it was just a really bad angle but I looked like a linebacker. --- Wore this for Easter (hey, it has PINK in it) and got many compliments. I thought it was very cute. I did wear Spanx and that helped (doesn't it always?). I'll definitely wear it again before returning.

I rented this dress for work, and was pleased to find that it was made out of a nice fabric, like a thin cotton sweater, yet still had shape. I was disappointed that it was a bit short but went ahead and wore it to work anyway. I wouldn't rent this dress again as I found it to be somewhat unforgiving. Notice how you can see lines where my stockings end on my waist. Overall though, it was pretty cute and well made.

I wore this dress to work. I liked the material... thin knit so it didn't add unnecessary bulk. The colors are playful and so is the cut (minidress with some flare) but I think it would have been more flattering if it were a bit longer

This would be great on someone with slender shoulders. There was a lot to like about it, including the overall cut. I normally like my broad shoulders, but in this dress it looked like I was wearing football shoulder pads. I wore a black cardigan to cover them up.

Not too thick, very flattering. Wore to the office and transitioned to HH easily! Would absolutely have purchased this Valentino number if it were not so expensive.

I received a lot of compliments on this and it was a nice, comfortable dress for work. I wouldn't recommend wearing this if you are planning on having to lift your arms up and even putting your hair in a ponytail could be dangerous - it's a bit short :) I wore with tights and tall boots and put my hair up in the bathroom, away from prying eyes. As others have stated, the material is a lot lighter than you might expect, but it is extremely soft and comfortable. Rent this one!

Such a beautifully fitting sweater dress. This is one of my favorite rentals and the perfect fall to winter transitional piece. I wore it with booties and black sheer tights. The fabric highlights your waist, is super slimming and hides any flaws well. Will rent against!

This dress was very flattering on me. I have smaller chest and pear shape. The material is on the thin side, but it was high quality (did not show undergarment lines - that is KEY). Very comfortable and fun to wear. Good for casual Friday.

I loved this dress. It was so comfortable and flattering, and the sleeves were actually long enough for my super long arms (exciting!). Only complaint was that it was a smidge short for work (I'm 5'8), but in a less conservative office it would be just fine.

Great fabric on this dress - thin but not see-through, almost silky. Dress is a little shorter than expected, but still work appropriate for me at 5'5. Other reviews mentioned the stripes fit weird, but I did not find that to be true for me. Got quite a few compliments on this one.

Something about the styling of this dress made me feel like an ice skater; I think it was the color-blocked stripes. On my petite frame, I felt like the proportions were off and wasn't as flattering even though the dress itself fit fine. On the model, it seems to hit mid-thigh and for me, the length was closer to the knee.

This dress looks SO tiny on the hanger but once I put it on it fit well. Was a little too short/tight in the bust for me to wear to work or out to dinner with my bf's parents. I would rent again but get a medium. For reference I am 5'7'', 126lbs and a 34A bust.
