I wore this for my engagement session along with the Kate Spade "clink clink" necklace. The fit was small in the bust so I had to size up. Otherwise, the quality and color were remarkable, and it was very comfortable, even on a hot August afternoon in NYC. The statement necklace complimented it perfectly. The RTR team helped me accessorize in their showroom and were quick to help me make an exchange after I discovered the bust was too tight in the original size I ordered. Very thankful for the warm customer service!

i wore this dress to a wedding. The fit was a bit on the smaller side but overall pretty true to size. I got many many compliments on this dress. It is pretty short and am pretty short so it worked out and made my legs look really long. I was very happy with this dress.

I wore this to an outdoor, lake-side, late afternoon wedding and was very pleased with how comfortable and different it was. It doesn't quite come across online but the textured overlay (wrong word, my bad) is really intriguing and flattering. The silhouette reminds me of a ballerina and cinches slightly at the waist before pouffing in a flirty but sophisticated way. It's a very well made dress and fits a touch large (though not in a revealing or bothersome way). Two things to keep in mind: I adored how this dress looks in person and in the mirror. However, after looking back at a few photos from the wedding, I feel as though I look like a bit of whale (like, not the whole whale but ... whale-ish, still). So, whether it's the way the fabric falls or the pattern or the color or some combination thereof... keep this in mind when renting if you (like me) aren't a pro at posture and posing during events #whatsiskinnyarmtho Also, the delicate detailing seems like it might easily catch on a studded or otherwise more-3D-than-usual bracelet so be careful of sharp edges! All in all, a very lovely dress that fit well, felt great (approved for dance floor), and received many compliments !

Loved this dress!!! Fit perfectly and was so pretty. It looks beige in the photo but actually has a lovely pink hue. Gorgeous!

The dress looks more luxurious in person, with an intricate woven pattern that has a bit of sheen to it. The fabric swishes with the liner underneath to make a swishy noise that I liked. It is a little roomier in the waist than I would have preferred, but the liner underneath made everything around the hips and butt puff out so my waist still looked small by compassion - plus there was room to breath. The whole thing was maybe a little too nice for my work (government) but I wore it anyways, hah!

I really liked the color and style of this dress. I would say it's true to size except the cloth is not stretchy so it was a bit tight around my chest. I also didn't like that the material is scratchy so I ended up putting on a sweater to cover my arms.

The dress was very high quality and comfortable. I like that it was structured enough to enhance a body but not too tight or inflexible that it would be unflattering. A great choice for a formal event when you want to choose elegance over sexy.

I was afraid I was going to need the 42, but it fit great in the bust and was very forgiving in the hips. The skirt was a little more full than in the photo with the model, however it still looked cute and was not too short. I was worried about the length, but because of the cut below the waist, it wasn't too short. Great dress and beautiful material!

I received this dress after I was informed that my original dress was returned damaged and would not be ready in time for my requested dates. Kristin from RTR was extremely helpful and prevented me from stressing out about not having a dress. I received three different dresses, this was the #1 choice, so I was hoping it would fit. They only had a size 40 which is a essentially a size 2. Normally I am a size 0 and have a hard time finding dresses to wear. This one had a teeny bit of room, in the chest area but I just wore a regular padded bra and it worked. I received so many compliments on the dress. The length was perfect too. It went above my knees like normal cocktail dresses should. The color was gorgeous and looks great against tan skin. Highly recommend this dress!

Runs true to size. Full skirt, a little fuller than it looks on the model. The lace/tulle is a little stuff, but may be bc I was the first to wear the dress (it still had a tag on it). Beautiful dress, beautiful color. Very feminine and classic.

I was unable to wear this. I read the fit notes and customer reviews and it seemed that everyone suggested sizing up. I did so but it was loose around the waist and there was enough space and stretch for my bust (34 DDD) where I could have sized down. Cute dress, great nude. I may order again in a 42 instead.

Didn't wear this dress- fit was slightly big and color washed out my skin tone. Also kind of stiff material... Wasn't my favorite and had other cute rentals to choose from. Style was cute and details were nice.

Rented this for a wedding and what I thought was cute detail on the dress (from the far away pictures) turns out to be another layer of fabric overlay that has holes kind of cut in it. It wasn't ugly, just not what I was expecting. Would be okay for a younger crowd maybe but not for a 30 year old attending a wedding. Aside from that, the color was not a good choice on me (normal slightly tanned caucasian skin tone with dark features).

It was a little tight around the bust for me (32D, ordered the 44), so I ended up in a different dress I'd also ordered, but that's a fit issue, not a quality issue. Nice lining. Hangs well. Seams not scratchy. It's very pretty. The color is more of a rosy taupe and less beige than it looked in the picture.

I wore this dress for engagement photos and it was perfect. The color has a shimmer hint of champagne mixed with pink. It was also very comfortable. I would definitely rent this dress again!

Best fit by far from all the other rentals I've had! For reference I'm 98 lbs, 5 ft, 32 A. This dress is so dainty and it looks way better than it actually did on the RTR site photo. I would love to rent this dress again! 😍 Would definitely recommend it for petite gals like me.

This was my backup dress, and I ended up wearing it because it looked so nice on. I thought it was the perfect combination of fun and classy. Very comfortable dress. I'm only 5'0 and very petite so it's very hard to find dresses that look nice (and grown up) on me, but this was perfect.

Overall this is a very versatile and classy choice for a variety of events. I wore this to a ladies charity luncheon. I don't think the photos do the detailing on the dress justice as it is quite pretty and unique. It is very comfortable to wear and flattering as well. Wish I owned this dress!

As an alternate, it was better than the one that I had originally reserved! I wore it for my graduation. The texture was interesting, not my favorite, but the dress still looked phenomenal.

VERY cute dress. I am usually a 40 or a 42 in Valentino and it ran so small on me I could not even zip the 42 at all. Did not wear. Sent back. Sad because I love love love this designer!

This was a backup dress. The top of the dress was very tight on me and then the bottom flared out too much making me look very, very hip(py). Did not wear this dress.

Runs small around the chest/rib cage area.

This is a babydoll dress like one you see on a doll super hard to pull off unfortunately
