Shimmer tones through the fabric and stripes made this more interesting. I thought the shimmer was subtle. Medium weight.

When you read that this lovely sweater is "shiny," it really is! I will wear it one more time before I return it!

Bright vibrant colors. I so wanted to love it, but.... this sweater was very rough and itchy. Oh, and it is very short!! When I moved or raised my arms up, my whole stomach showed. Disappointed by this strange piece, didn't wear.

Rented the jumper to wear to work in tech with a pair of jeans and boots. It's a casual with a fun sparkle added in that means I could dress it up for after work. Fits true to size. Slightly cropped length. Sleeves are shorter than a lot of other sweaters. Fabric is a little bit itchy but I solved for that my wearing a thin long sleeve shirt underneath. With a tshirt underneath I found it comfortable and warm.

Wore this to my niece's bday dinner and was a hit with all the cool kids! Paired with black pants and pink heels, and let the sweater do the talking. Cool button detail on the neck made it easy to not get too warm. Great piece!

Very fun sweater. Although it was sparkly I wore it to work and felt fabulous. Also wore it out to dinner for date night. It is itchy so I wore a shirt underneath.

Heavier knit sweater. Liked the shiny thread but wouldn't wear year round. I thought the length was perfect, not cropped or too long. Was a little itchy so I wore a camisole underneath. You can unbutton the neck if the turtleneck bothers you.

I ended up not wearing this. It is really heavy and itchy, definitely would need to wear an under shirt. And it was really glittery. The neck was super tight. Overall just not my taste or feel.

The collar was funky and overall the sweater bunches up and wrinkled in odd spots. Not a fan, but I did like the colors.

I loved this sweater and I want to own it. It fit great. I received so many compliments at my office. Easy to pair with jeans or trousers. Easily goes from day to night!

Really cute sweater. But for those in not so cold climates, be aware it is a heavy knit and ofcourse the turtleneck will make it feel even warmer. I would say a good day temperature for this would be 40s 50s. Also because it is heavy, your coat/jacket if you need one should be a consideration. Also if you have sensitive skin, the material is scratchy on the inside. Didn't bother me but I know it could be an issue for some. All that said, I gave this 5 stars because of how fun it was to wear, how well it fit and well it's Valentino!

I am keeping this open around all winter. I have already worn it 4x. Great with jeans, cords, or a casual skirt. I'm pretty small on top so I imagine if you were more well endowed it would be bulky. But for me, this is simply the best sweater ever. It's definitely bling-y but not obnoxious and great for the holidays.

The sleeves are a little long, but I am short.

I received several compliments on this sweater. It was sparkly and colorful...fun! Not super comfortable but the longer you wear the more comfortable it gets.

This sweater definitely fits TTS. It was a bit baggy since I got the M as that was the only size available. I didn't end up wearing because of it. The sweater is very metallic-y (more than it looks in the picture), but it is very nice. I love the button/turtleneck detail (you can leave it unbuttoned but it looks weird that way). Definitely would rent again in the future but in my true size.

The fit is true to size but as other commenters have mentioned, this shirt is very shiny and a little scratchy. I wore out to a jazz club in Paris and the doorman and bartender remarked how much they liked it but it was a bit much for me.
