I wish the size 36 was available. I made this dress work by wearing a top underneath. It's a super girly dress. *See pics on how In styled it* If worn by itself, a cute thin belt would work and strappy heels for a nighttime look.

SO CUTE! perfect fit. I sized up to a 40 per others' suggestions and it fit like a glove. If I had gone with my reg size 38 I would not have been able to zip up in the back. Lovely thick fabric. Great for petites it hit me mid thigh!

This dress is perfect for petites. Definitely needs leggings/pantyhose of some sort. The dress is structured, but has a bubble bottom.. and has pockets! Winner, winner!

Very short but the high neck keeps it classy. Material is thicker and nice quality. Loved the floral pattern as it wasn't cheesy or cheap looking.

Material is great quality, the pattern is great for a winter event it's nice because it's a black dress but it still has a splash of color and it keeps it original. The length for me was perfect!!!

This is the second Red Valentino dress in this style I have rented and it's one of my favorite styles! Fits true to size, I love the fitted top and the flared mini skirt, it's so flattering! This dress could be worn with or without tights, even with a sheer long sleeve or fitted turtleneck underneath. There is a cherry print version that I have my eye on for renting next! I loved wearing this dress! The fabric is not thin, but it is not warm at all. I wore it for a night out in Europe this summer and I wasn't hot. It is easy to zip it alone and it has pocket! I suggest to size up because there is no room at the waist (especially after a big meal) and it looks very short even on a petite frame. I will definitely rent it again, but will size up to a 38EU.

Rented this dress for my daughter who is petite and always has trouble finding a good, flattering fit. She is 17. This dress photographed short on the model so we knew the length might finally be good for her. She is 4' 11". This dress was perfect. The fabric, and embroidery detail are more stunning in person than in the photo. It was perfectly appropriate for her age, and as always, pockets get a special shout out from me. It's a beautiful well made dress that made her feel like a million bucks. The top of the dress fit like a dream and where the waist is cut made the dress very flattering with just enough bubble flare out to be fun. This is a great dress, we would rent again.

I love the fit of this dress so much! The full skirt, the pocket, the tailored top--very whimsical and flattering. I wore it during winter for work, with a dress shirt or a turtleneck. Polished, but cheeky.

This dress was short (even at 5'4"!), but really pretty. There wasn't any room left after a big meal, so I'll try sizing up next time.

Fit was to size. Wore with loafer mules to balance the short hem for an evening work function.

Loved this dress -- flattering fit and uber comfortable with pockets. Wore with a cardigan, tights and booties to work and charity check presentation. Was quite short (mid-thigh on my 5'5" frame), so would have been uncomfortable without the black tights. Looser fit so recommend sizing down for backup size. For reference, I typically wear 8/10 in tops and 10 in dresses.

The other reviews were certainly right when they said it ran small. I am normally between a 0 or 2 if something runs really small, so I ordered the 36 and 38. The 36 was barely able to be zipped up but the 38 was perfect. The length is pretty short but thankfully it's not tight so doesn't seem like too much leg. I wore it for a holiday dinner and it was perfect with the little bit of sheen.

Pros: Great material wish it would have worked, but next time will order a size down.

I'm 5'3" and 115 lbs. This dress is great for a petite frame. The length was above my knee. I got lots of compliments and enjoyed wearing it.

im 5'2", 115lbs, 32C and the 40 fit like a dream. perfect length, hit 2 inches above my knee - not too short but enough so to compliment the high neckline. would have worn the 38, but it was slightly constricting in the bust. highly recommend this dress for petite girls!

I LOVE this dress! The pattern is gorgeous and it fit great - I got compliments all night! Super comfortable. The bust was a little tight (34D), but once the dress was zipped up, I didn't notice it. I'm 5'3 and the length was perfect - a little longer than mid-thigh. The material is on the thick side so the dress can be worn in any season. It was pretty humid out and I had no complaints about the temperature while wearing the dress. BONUS: you can eat as much as you want wearing this dress thanks to lovely silhouette!

This is a shorter dress but I'm 5'3" so it hit a little above the knee. When you sit, it will ride up a little but nothing too revealing. This dress is formal enough for work but playful enough to go out in afterward. I thought it sized a lot smaller than other designers I've tried, and I was aware of the arm holes and neckline, but this didn't affect the overall look. I loved it and would rent again!

Loved this! To bad I couldn't wear it. I'm a petite woman at 5'2 109 but i could not zip this without fear of breaking the zipper when I breathe. I was planning on wearing tights which was super cute but it was still so short. it felt more tunic length soI tried it with nice skinny jeans and that solves the length problem. Size up.

This dress came delivered damaged, so I had to return it right away and hope that the new size would arrive in time for a fundraising event. It didn't arrive in time, but the original dress also didn't fit either (too big). The second one I received I ended up wearing to work and it was pretty tight in the rib cage. Cute dress though. I just would've preferred to wear it to an event vs. work.

As with a lot of dresses made with this "sturdiness" of fabric and seams the zipper stuck going up. Had to have my spouse zip me up. That is the only reason I gave it four stars without another person to help I couldn't have zipped it up myself because of it tangling with fabric. I am a size 8 and this dress gave me plenty of room (34 C). It is on the short side, I am 5'4" so beware. I also dressed it down with sandals for date night with hubby.

The fabric is a very thick brocade, not really a summer fabric. Given the shoes the model is wearing, it wasn't what I expected. It just seemed not to work for this time of year. I will rent it again in the fall. It does fit true to size, is super cute (and not as short as it seems). It also has pockets, which is a fun little extra. I liked the dress, not the fabric.

Perfect Winter dress. Looks great with tights and knee high boots. Forgiving cut that has thick fabric with is perfect for the cold weather.

A cute, detailed, and perfect twist on the LBD! First of all, the shape on this dress is so cute and I love the take on the floral print; it's definitely not your typical floral! I would recommend sizing up because this dress does run a little small. It is fitted at the waist and there is comfortable room at the hips, which definitely works if you're curvy! At 5'6, this dress was on the shorter side and came down between a mini and mid-thigh, so keep this in mind if you're tall! With no stretch in the fabric, I would size up next time I want to rent this to give myself some room throughout the day.

Lovely thick fabric and pattern. I'm 5ft2in and high waisted but this dress was way too short on me. It looked childish on me because it was so high waisted,poofy, and short. It would fit best in someone under 5ft.

I didn't end up wearing this because it ended up not really being my style but it was super cute. The arm holes were a little small. It would have been a hard no if I wasn't a B cup. TLDR; This will look great on ladies that are more petite in the arms and chest.

This dress was humungous. I couldn't wear it out of the house. Now, I did get one size up (a 6) from what I'd normally get (a 4) due to stock. But! upon putting on the dress I would have been better off going the size down (a 2). I hope I'll be able to rent it again, only in a size that doesn't look like I've shrunk inside of it.

I'm 5'2" and this was extremely short! Couldn't wear it unfortunately.

The fit is strange. I tried a 36 and on my petite frame (104 lbs, 5 ft 2) and it made me look pregnant. It also was SUPER short which was okay on me I guess, but I'm not sure how a taller person could wear this!! Overall, the dress is not flattering and I didn't wear it.
