I worn this to a work party, and it's perfect for yhr occation. Simple but nice with designs on the detail, and very soft and comfortable to wear.

Fits like a dream and hits in all of the right places. The scalloping in perfect! I would prefer without the buttons, but they're fine. I wish I could afford to purchase it!

This dress was pretty short for me so I went with flats. Other than the length, the fit was perfect for me.

I loved this. The button detail was absolutely adorable and reminded me of a grownup take on a sailor dress. The quality was awesome; thick, stretchy fabric. I think it runs true to size but I'm in between and didn't want to risk going down, so it was a little big. The scalloping is the perfect detail when combined with the buttons, and it's ridiculously comfortable. It's very hard to zip on your own, so be ready to get creative if you live on your own. It's navy but VERY dark - even under fluorescent office lights it looked black. For some reason this was prone to collecting dust and fuzzies from everything I walked near. I also noticed it gets staticky at the hem/around your knees where your legs meet, so keep that in mind if you'll be doing a lot of walking. Favorite part - never had to tug at it once. Stayed situated all day and didn't surprise me with a length change when I stood.

I love the versatility of this piece, it's easy to dress up or dress down. I wore this to school with booties with heels and later in the evening with tights and booties to accommodate the cold weather. It's simple and chic.

Valentino strikes again! You can't help but feel adorable and lady like in this scalloped number. And pockets - done. The length of the dress hits at about, or right above, the knee. Pair with some fun knee high boots for a military/preppy feel. The overall fit is true to size, and the dress can be worn with a standard bra. I would size up for your backup size, especially if you feel like you carry more weight in your midsection. The overall feel of the dress is very comfortable, and I wore this to work one day!

This dress was rented for work. The details of the buttons on top of the shoulder were very unique.. The waist is slightly tapered and the flair hides "problem" areas. The length is work appropriate. The laser cut seems provide a bit of decoration. Overall, the dress was conservative yet hinted a bit of fit, flair, and fun.

Fit, cut, color, and button details are fab. The only thing I didn't love about the dress was the fact that there seemed to be some liner fabric creeping out from the armholes. Perhaps it's because the dress has been around the block a few times too many?

I have a hard time ensuring that dresses aren't overwhelming since I am 5'2". Valentino is tailored so well - this fit perfectly and was comfortable. Simple dress but scalloped edges and buttons really make dressing for work mush more fun!

Too short to wear for work and the 38 was super tight in the ribcage. Couldn't even get it zipped. It was cute and the fabric was stretchy, just order a size up if you are over 5'3" or have a larger chest.

Loved this dress, it was absolutely adorable. I wore it to work - was shorter than I usually wear to work (5'7"), but not inappropriately so with flats. I'm between a 2 and 4 and wore the 38, which worked fine but I'd probably rent the 40 next time for more room in the bust (32/34D). There's plenty of stretch in the fabric though so it's forgiving if you're bigger on top.

I loved this dress. It was a great summertime work dress paired with a nude pumps. Simple, elegant, professional. I am short and the length hit a few inches above the knees so it may be a little too short for taller girls. It has great pockets that don't make you look too 'hippy'. It worked great to highlight my waste and accentuate my hourglass figure. I loved it!

I simply loved this dress. It was great for work, incredibly comfortable, and held up through a long work day and cocktails after.

The fit is cinched at the waist and then it is a puffy look at the hips. There are pockets which is great for your phone. The scallops around neck and hem make it fun!

I wore this to work one day and loved it. The fabric is very soft and comfortable- it has a little stretch to it. Loved the scallop edges. I always wear an 8 in Red Valentino and that's what I took in this. Would definitely rent again.

This dress is absolutely amazing. I've already worn it to work twice. Once over a white button up and once with a flowered cardigan over it. Great navy blue color with adorable big gold buttons on the shoulders. It's a great transitional piece. Heavy enough that it doesn't look silly with a sweater over it but thin enough for the girls not quite in fall. Perfect with little brown booties and has deep useful pockets. Wish I had this permanently in my closet.

Definitely work appropriate but helped that I am only 5'4'' so it wasn't too short. I also have a short torso and a high waist so it was perfect cut wise (but probably wouldn't be for those with long torsos). Wore with my brown riding boots and a cardigan. Loved it! It was definitely one of the more 'worn' dresses I've gotten, but still looked good.

This dress is just adorable. The scalloped edges add a special detail to an otherwise basic fitting dress. It is very comfortable and perfect for work. I loved the button detail on the shoulder and didn't want to add a necklace to detract from the dress, so I just wore bold earrings. It is a little short, so that might affect taller girls. Another bonus, the arm wholes were perfect, so you can wear your regular bra with it and nothing will show!!!

I normally wear a 0 or xs in most clothes and dresses. I ordered the 36. The dress looked just like the picture. It was very cute and just the right length on me (5'3). But I found it to be pretty tight in the bust. I would have liked to have tried a size up, I think I would have been more comfortable.

This dress was so fun and would be perfect for layering underneath for the office or wearing on it's own for a bunch of different types of events. I loved the detailing the most. I did notice though it didn't run quite as big as some of the other RedValentino dresses I have wore. This one was true to size for sure.

Had this dress been available during the summer, it would have ordered it several times with my Unlimited membership. I ordered a size 40, I'm normally between a size 2 -4 and this dress fit like a glove. I'm 5 '2 and the length was perfect.

The fabric of this dress is very light. I loved that it didn't feel heavy. This dress was perfect with flat sandals for work. Overall very happy.

This dress fit great! It was a little on the shorter side, but worked fine with flats for work. It was a little worn around the scallops, especially around the neck, but the material laid flat while wearing, and it was not noticeable.

There is some stretch in the dress which I always appreciate. The navy blue with the gold buttons a scallop details make this dress a fun upgrade on a normal work dress.

Dress was cute for work. If you wear a cardigan with the dress, then the button detail is hard to see, making for a pretty standard navy dress. Zipper was extremely hard to zip (even with another set of hands!)
