I love this dress and still have it at home, am considering buying it! I have worn it casually with boots and leggings to an afternoon out with friends and also wore it to an evening party dressed up with tights and heels. It is super comfortable while also being flattering and adorably pretty with its gorgeous lace. I found it to be true to size. The details of its construction, such as the placement of the subtle pleats on the skirt, reflect its superior craftsmanship and design. A favorite!

It was flattering without being skin tight and I loved the 2 different necklines from the slip and the lace dress. I'm short and the drop waist made me look a tiny bit taller. Got lots of compliments from strangers and turned lots of heads. I don't have much of a figure, muscular and no waistline, but this dress made me feel pretty and feminine. The straps on the slip were too long so I pinned them temporarily and they were fine.

Loved everything about this dress. The fabric, the cut. So comfortable. So flattering. Could pair with boots or flats or sandals to dress up or down. I wore several times before I sent it back. I wore to a casual day at the office, to a dinner date with my boyfriend and to casual girls brunch. Perfect for all occasions.

The lace detail on this dress is absolutely beautiful. Note that the black slip under the lace is quite short, so this dress is bet suited for petites. It is also a little low cut. The dress runs a little small overall, so if you are between sizes, size up. I wore it twice -- once for a Father's Day dinner and another time to a wedding rehearsal dinner. Feels very stylish and not boring at all.

I really liked wearing it - it is a little short so you have to pay attention when sitting down though ;)

This dress is true to size and nothing short of amazing. The picture does it no justice at all. It was perfect in every way. I am a 34ff bra and it was perfect and roomy and flirty and very different. Felt like wearing nothing at all!

I LOVE this dress. I would buy it if the retail price weren't so crazy. It fits great and is super flattering. It looks good with both flats and heels, and it looks particularly good over black tights. I've worn it to work, to the theater, to a party, and to dinner, and I've gotten tons of compliments every time. It even travels well. Rent it. The only potential negative is that I will mention is that, while it's not mini, it is on the shorter side (I'm 5'3"). The lace overlay is longer than the black slip, but the black slip rides up a bit when you sit, so if you're taller and wearing it without tights, it may be too short at that point.

Better on a taller body but what off the rack isn't

I rented this via my unlimited shipment for a date night with my husband. We had to reschedule date night but we had a golf tournament we were invited to over the weekend and I wanted to wear it. The dress was so beautiful. The fine details are what make this dress a knockout, yet it has a simple girly feel that worked perfectly for a beautiful sunny Sunday event. You could almost wear this dress on a more regular occasion if it weren't just so beautifully crafted (I'd be afraid of over wearing something this elegant). I saw another reviewer mention the dress was too short to wear. I did have to be careful when sitting down and standing up and certainly bending over, but otherwise when standing and sitting properly I didn't find the dress to be uncomfortably short and I can be a little sensitive. I am 5'9" but I am also slight of frame, so not sure if you had a large frame if it might sort of "pull up" so perhaps if you're worried about it, it's possible it would be too short on someone taller. I found it also ran true to size otherwise as well. It's not meant to be a fully fitted dress. It has a slightly bohemian feel with the lace. I found it to be comfortable. I felt like one of the wealthy ladies at the golf tournament! I'd love to wear this dress again.

The perfect delicate lace dress to wear to a day time event! There is a light-weight slip underneath this detailed lace dress, so wearing a nu bra or standard bra is necessary. The slip is a little fitted at the natural waist but flares out at the hips. At 5'4 the dress hit me just above the knee, which I prefer for shorter dresses. I would wear this dress with pair of black heels and simple earring!

I loved this dress, it was so pretty and feminine, perfect with cowboy boots and denim jacket for a country concert. The lace overlay is darling and could easily be dressed up or made more casual. The problem is with the black slip that fits under the lace.....the straps on it are SO long and have no adjustment, so the body of the slip sits very low on your chest. I wore a cream tank under the black slip and tied the two black straps together with a ribbon in the back to hold it up. If is was adustable this would get a higher rating..... but beware the higher the straps sit, the shorter the slip is below. Depends on your comfort level. The dress was longer on me, than the model, I am about 5'4".... Overall great dress, I would love to rent again and wear with a different look.

As with any 2 layered dress the slip underneath needs adjustment- lots of Hollywood tape etc. however it's a head turner!! Very different and stands out. Worn to a daytime wedding :)

The black liner under this dress is crazy short and barely stretchy, so sitting down is very difficult! However, it's a lovely dress. The lace layer definitely fits on the larger side and was initially stiff/scratchy feeling but I got used to it. You need a very low cut bra due to the low, square neckline of the black layer. This dress was pretty but I didn't feel like it was as unique or awesome as some of the others I've rented. May or may not rent again. I wore the 42 and typically wear a 4. It was very much the right size!

The black slip underneath is short (doesn't bother me but if you have a big booty beware), the slip strips didn't stay on my shoulders either, wish they could be looked into the dress. Not the most comfortable but loved it! I wore the 2 (40) and for just right. Gorgeous lace and high quality

This dress is perfect for a springtime barbecue or a summer music festival, but it's definitely made for shorter girls only! I'm really tall (6'0 / 183cm), but I love looks that show a lot of leg. Sadly, this dress went a bit too far... if I so much as took a step, my tush would be hanging out! The lacy top layer covers up the "indecent exposure" somewhat, but not enough for me to feel comfortable wearing it. If you are shorter, this will be a hit! It is so comfortable (it actually runs large around the waist and hips IMO; back-up a size down) yet flattering. The material is thin enough that it doesn't add any extra bulk and the lace details are lovely. Four stars because I loved the look even though I couldn't wear it myself.

This is a really cute dress but the slip underneath barely covered my bum. There was no way I could wear this out in public without risking indecent exposure. It might work on a more petite person but I'd say if you're above 5'7 it's a no go. :(

Really beautiful lace. The detail is quite amazing. I gave it a three star only bc the slip was weird and tight, it rode up when I was walking around. Yet the lace was really big on me, although I didn't mind that. I might wear my own slip under this if I could do it again.

Beautifully made fabric, but sheer in the skirt. I didn't realize until my boyfriend came to pick me Up that you could see the outlines of my legs through the material. Not a very flattering fit through the waist for me. The back is flattering (cut out nicely to highlight booty), but from the side and front I wasn't thrilled. Probably best fit for a smaller and more petite frame!

I've rented this so many times! I absolutely adore this dress! It runs very short, so size up for backup. It is flirty and cute, I've worn it on a date with tall black boots, to work with black booties, and to a Christening with some bright pumps. Seriously-can I keep this forever?!

Very loose on and forgiving.

The dress fits perfectly and I received SO many compliments. The only issue is that I am smaller in the chest area and the black slip underneath kept falling down below my bra. This was slightly annoying, but could easily be fixed with some double sided tape to keep it up. Other than that, it was a great dress!

Beautiful Lace

The lace on this dress is stunning as is the overall construct of the dress. Tons of people complimented me on the dress on the two occasions i wore it (an afternoon communion and an evening graduation party). The slip below is shorter than the lace which adds a sexy factor. I absolutely loved it!

I wore this to work and two concerts. My daughter (who is 2) is obsessed with it. It goes from day to night really well. When you spin around the dress flies up and looks beautiful. Great dancing dress. My daughter made me spin around several times as she looked at me like I was a princess. The detail is exquisite.

This dress was one of my favorites that I've rented from RTR. I loved the lace overlay and it was easily transitional from day time work place to night time happy hour and dinner. I got so many compliments all day and night. The dress is flowy and the lace part is not fitted, and the black under slip is fitted. Loved this dress and will rent again.

Fit was relaxed and spot on. I'm normally a 0/2, and wore the 38. It had lots of room (not baggy, but relaxed). Very short. Wore it to two parties with cowboy boots and it got compliments galore.

It was too short for work without tights but it looked perfect with them! The dress was a perfect fit for me. The straps for the slip are really close to the shoulders though so that took a bit of getting used to.

Fit true to size. I normally wear a size 0 or 2 but for this dress I would size down since it is a bit big in the waist. However, if you have bigger arms the lace sleeves are not very forgiving and have a limited range of motion. I'm very tall at 5'10 and I felt very comfortable with the length. I received many compliments on this dress.

Hides baby bump! Super fun and flirty! Heavy lace material makes it classy. Black little slip makes it saucy! Black slip a little short. Definitely had to be careful when bending over or sitting. But I liked that it wasn't the full length of the dress, made it stand out more. Lace a little itchy on the arms so not anything I would want to wear longer then a brunch.

I REALLY wanted to love this. The slip was tight and super short (I'm 5'2" and it was still insanely short) and the spaghetti straps weren't adjustable, super low cut. The actual dress itself was beautiful with the stitched details. The fit just make me uncomfortable, so I won't be wearing it again.

True to size, this dress looks beautiful on and fits perfectly. However, it's not that comfortable to wear. The sleeves were a bit tight and left a mark on both my arms.

The lace portion of the dress is beautiful and I loved the fit and length. The black slip that goes under it was FAR too short, not even covering my behind and it is not stretchy so it doesn't stay in place if you raise your arms or sit down. There was no possibility of wearing this. I was so disappointed.

The black slip was impossible to wear it wasn't long enough to cover my behind ;) The lace dress was beautiful but a little to big.. so everything was wrong with the fit here.
