Loved the surprise deep-V back!
A little loose up top. Need to wear the correct bra, so that it doesn't show in the back. Otherwise the dress fit great and looked great!

Exceeded my expectation!
This was perfect for the 30th birthday party! Stunning blue dress, great material, pockets and high drama in the back. The dress is extremely flattering. I looked like an hourglass, the waist hugged me in all the right places. You will need to get a NuBra if you have a large chest. It's pretty awkward to wear one, but after awhile you get used to it. Overall, I would really recommend this dress!!!

I loved the dress. True to size. The sleeves kept falling down because of the open back, so use double-sided tape!

Great Dress! loved the back!
Rented this for a Febuary Rehearsal dinner, i wore with black tights and black pumps, you cant wear a bra with it so i used sticky backless bra..i did look flat chested but i did not mind bc the back was the stand out..deep V , but very sophisticated! I would recommend pushing the long sleeves up. i wore minimal jewelry just an emerald and gold cuff bc of the detail.....l would love to own!

Casual In The Front, Sexy In The Back
I rented this dress to wear to a brunch with my bridesmaids and then to a Jack & Jill party immediately afterwards. I wanted something that was appropriate enough for both occasions, and so when I found this dress, I was really excited to wear it. The material was actually much different than I expected. I thought it would be a bit soft and flowy, but it was more of a stiff, heavy feel without much stretch. i couldn't pull the sleeves up as high as they were on the model. The pockets were nice, but because the material was already kind of bulky, I did feel like the added pockets drew a bit of attention to my already wide-enough hips. The back was nice, and added a bit of sexiness to the dress. I did use a little fashion tape to keep it from gaping too much, but I probably would've been fine without it. Standing up, the dress fit great, but sitting down, it did ride up a bit and made it rather short. I was very careful when I bent over to not give everyone a show. I paired the dress with some brown heels and pearl earrings. Overall, the dress was perfect for what I needed. I got tons of compliments, and felt fairly comfortable wearing it for 10 hours of the day :)

Killer back!
This dress is a sneaky success. It is very sweet in the front with an open back. The fabric is revealing, so I would recommend a NuBra or something like that. I ended up just draping a scarf in front as it was cold.

Perfect from day into evening!
This dress was perfect for an early summer evening wedding in the mountains. The open back made it fun and the sleeves made it functional without having to take a jacket or sweater along. You don't need much jewelry to dress it up either. The length is perfect, not too short. Sleeves can roll up to the elbows. The material is thicker than it shows in the picture which makes it that much better. I typically wear an 8 in most dresses and this 8 fit perfectly. If you are between sizes I would go down as the boat neck shoulders do slip a bit.

My first RTR experience was an A+.
I ordered the dress on Thursday, it arrived Friday looking as though it had never been worn. The second size was unavailable, but the 4 was a perfect fit. I would say that this dress is forgiving in regards to the cut and overall size. Everything about the dress (and earrings) was great, and I was happy to tell everyone about RTR. I found the photos and profiles on other womens' experiences with the same dress very helpful.

great holiday dress
Loved the back (my boyfriend did too). Fit was perfect for my body type, no gape on the size 6. Pockets and the material make it feel casual, but the color and backless element elevate it to a fun holiday party dress.

You can wear, if I can
Wanted something appropriate to wear to an awards show and not too flashy to compete against the special guests and honorees. This was perfect for my age and was comfortable to wear! I have more of a straight waist and wore the size 10 to allow for the straight trunk around my middle. The cut of the dress gives you a little bit of hour glass look if you don't have one. Remember to push the sleeves up otherwise you end up playing with the extra long sleeves (as I did). Be sure to use good dress tape to keep the shoulder seam from drapping forward. The tape I used didn't work and kept straightening the shoulders all evening. When you turn around and expose the back, it's very sexy, so flaunt it!

Dress looks sophisticated and classy, waiter in restaurant kept referring to me as the pretty lady...I normally wear a size 2, ordered the 4 but it was a bit big, although wearable, I had to roll up the sleeves, they are long.

Made for the fit backs
The back opening is on the large side so be sure to have a fab back if considering this dress. The opening is more width-wise rather than vertically so my back looked a lil' chubby

Sophisticated hotness
This was a top dress for me. Perfect fit. I need dresses with a defined waist, fitted, top, flare over my butt. The back is a sexy V. So sophisticated looking, drapes amazing. I saw some reviews didn't like the gathering above the waist, but I thought it looked great on my size nothing boobs. didn't need a bra either bc the material is thick enough. I would buy this.

Simple & classic
Fit true to size -- if you are pear shaped, size up (it's much tighter on the bottom than the top of the dress). I used double sided tape to close the back a bit and keep it in place and would recommend this method to others, otherwise it could keep slipping down your shoulders.

Perfect dress for a matinee opera
Rented the dress for a matinee opera at the MET. It was incredibly comfortable and appropriate for the occasion. Because of the open back (which is conservative sexy) I had to wear a backless bra. I highly recommend this dress for a date night. The only negative was the sleeves, I had to keep pushing them up all day.

Casual front, dramatic back
I rented both the size 4 and the size 6 [I'm always a 4 in Trina Turk, if that helps]. While the 4 was the better fit up top, because of the pockets the bottom wasn't the best fit - the pockets made the fabric bunch and stick out around the hips. Sizing up to the 6 allowed the bottom half of the dress to hang in a more flattering manner but did make the shoulders more likely to slip (easily remedied with fashion tape).

there is nothing like getting dressed up and everyone saying, "WOW! I love your dress!"
FIT: I am a size 6 hourglass, but I ordered the 4 as my bonus dress (I believe the 6 was unavailable). It must have run slightly large for me to fit into a fitted size 4. PROS: The fabric is a good weight, and doesn't wrinkle at all. The color is fantastic, and really made me stand out in a sea of black dreses. I wore a sticky bra (definitely needed with this dress) and used double sided tape on the shoulder to keep the top up, which worked perfectly. The back of this dress was by far the most flattering part. CONS: the dress has pockets between the lining and the skirt (dont get me wrong, i love a good pocket) which you can see the outlines of. I recommend pulling the skirt up, then pulling the lining down separately, then the pockets, then the skirt. When I walked a lot, the underskirt tended to ride up and I had to tug on it intermittantly.

Tall and thin only!
I rented this dress to wear to a casual holiday party. I am 5'10", so I did not have the long sleeves issue. However, the size 8 just didn't fit my wider hips on the bottom. I would say if you're 5'8" or taller and don't have a tummy or wide hips, this will be a winner for you. The deep V in the back is super sexy, yet it is long enough in my opinion to be conisdered modest. Shorter and/or curvier gals who don't like skin-tight fabric hugging their hips should probably stay away. Sadly I had to return it for fit.

the open back which was so sexy!
the only difficult parts about the dress was that if you didn't tape the back your sleeves would fall down a bit, also i wouldn't recomend this to a girl with large breasts

Hotness!
I Loved wearing this dress. I am not a small girl: 5'6" and a size 12 with an hourglass shape. I got this dress in a 12 (worried that it would be too small) and it fit perfectly. The V back didn't lay on my skin the way it does in the model photo (I have a higher natural waist) so it draped away from my back, but it actually gave the dress and even more alluring twist because of it. I wore it with nude heels and a fabulous Necklace from RTR (the Bea Necklace) and they went perfectly together. I wore my shoulder length hair wavy with a navy blue smokey eye: I looked like a movie star and people are still telling me how great I looked that night. One suggestion: make sure you use double sided tape on your shoulders to keep the top in place. Also: for girls like me (I'm a 36D bra) buy the stick on bra: it worked like a charm.

Great color, great back!
I rented this dress for my sister's rehearsal dinner. I love the color of the dress and the low back. Unfortunately I am in between sizes and either wear a 2 or a 4. I only rented a 4, but the dress runs slightly larger. With the low back, the straps kept falling down. So, I didn't end up wearing the dress. Great dress, but if you are in between sizes, size down!

Great dress except for the sleeves.
I liked the fit of the body, and the back was really pretty and fun. The sleeves were way too roomy for me, though. In the pictures, the model has them pushed up, but they're actually full long sleeves and just looked slouchy on me. The material also wouldn't stay pushed up for me when I tried to do that. I used "fashion tape" to keep the sleeves from falling off my shoulders, and wore a VS silicone bra since it's backless. Overall, I wouldn't rent it again, but it might work for someone with bigger shoulders (mine are super duper narrow.)

Nice to have a dress with some sleeves for a fall wedding!
For a short person, 5'1", the top proportions were a little long, making the back gape a little. Overall, good enough fit to wear.

I was only able to rent my size as neither a smaller nor a larger size were available for back up. I also couldn't find another dress to wear as a back up as I rented too late. Unfortuantely, it was too large. As the other reviewer wrote, the dress fell off my shoulders forward. I was able to pin it tighter in the back which helped, so a smaller size could work. The other problem was that it had a funny looking drape in the front. Unfortunately, I had to wear this to my occassion as I didn't have time to shop for something else. While it was not awful, I did not feel fabulous in it.

Less than fabulous pockets
I really liked all the elements of this dress...until I tried it on. The pockets were the biggest issue. Normally I love pockets on a dress but sadly these pockets only added bulk and bulge to the hip area. Not a great look if you're already curvy. Maybe if you have a straight and narrow body type the dress would work for you but if you have any shape below the waist the pockets cause the dress to flare and visually added an extra two inches on my hips. NOT flattering to say the least. I did like the material of the dress and the V-shape on the back but couldn't get over how I looked in the dress and therefore didn't wear for my date night.

I hate to be the first one to review this dress and have a bad review because others might not have the same problems that I did. First off, the seam on the sleeves was not in the middle, instead it was towards the front of the dress making it look like the top was sewn on backwards. The way the neckline and dolman sleeves are cut made the dress constant fall off my shoulders. The pockets added width to my hips and did not lay flat (it wasn't a wrinkle problem). The banding is not snug at the waist which gives the illusion of a bigger middle. When I tried it on, it already had a small pick in the front of the skirt. I'm so glad this was my back up dress so I did NOT have to wear it. Maybe I needed a smaller size, maybe I just had a lemon. I don't know but I wouldn't rent this one again.

Runs small and large in a weird way...
Unfortunately I didn't get to wear this dress. Both sizes (0&2) were extremely large on the upper body and incredibly tiny on the waist. The arm length was also a huge problem. Way too long. I'm guessing for somebody who is petit (5'3 or under) shouldn't even consider this dress. I feel it would fit better on somebody 5'6 or taller and has a longer torso. I will admit color and fabric were amazing.
