I host a talk series at Soho House and wore this dress. My waist is in proportion to my chest and hips so I had to limit carbs for a week to make it comfortable that evening. If you have a teeny tiny waist, this dress is ideal.

Felt so elegant in this beautiful dress. There is no stretch, so I recommend sizing up if you're between sizes. The waist is very small; it was hard for me to zip at first, and I'm usually a comfortable size 0. I was able to go braless with the sexy open back, and it was fitted enough that I had no concerns about the dress slipping down - larger chests may want to size up. It was a little long on my short torso, so the back gaped a bit and didn't quite lay flat - it's so well constructed that it actually looked like a natural draping effect.

Wore this to semi formal wedding and it was perfect! Back is beautiful. I am typically a 6 and ordered 1 size up based on reviews and it was perfect!

So special...

The dress was beautiful. It fit at the waist but was a little loose around my shoulders. I purchased some inexpensive fashion tape and a backless bra from Amazon but couldn't get it all to sit correctly in time for the wedding. Would rent again for an occasion where I would have more time to troubleshoot my undergarment situation.

Such a beautiful dress but a very strange fit. The waist is extremely small. I'm usually a size 2 but had to return and size up to a 4 and the waist was still on the too small size. Additionally the zipper was really hard to zip past the waist seam. Would still recommend because I thought it was so pretty but beware of the fit!

Some of the reviewers mentioned the small waist, I can't imagine this fitting unless I could somehow remove my lowest rib. The back of the dress is, however, stunning, so give it a try if you are particularly teeny.

Didn’t end up wearing, couldn’t zipper shut

This dress is phenomenal. It is well made and the fabric is luxurious. It was heartbreaking to send it back without being worn. It fit PERFECTLY every but the very tiny waist. I zipped it up with a little bit of elbow grease and a lot of sucking in but going to my husband's birthday dinner in it would have been impossible. Eating would not be an option. I got the 4 and though tempted to try the 6, I am concerned that it would then be too large everywhere else. I loved the ruching in the back! It gave a little volume and interest and was a lovely juxtaposition to the completely open back. If you are blessed with a wasp waist, rent this beauty and take it out for a nice dinner.

Size runs smaller than actual. Because it has a side zipper, opt for 2 sizes up.

Loved the fabric of this dress but for me, wasn't able to wear because of the back. I thought I could just wear a jacket with it to cover the exposed area (and wear an actual bra)......but there is a bizarre gathering/poof of fabric right on the hip. (The last place I want extra bulk). Not sure where one would wear it -- it's really like a mullet dress - business in the front and party in the back.
