Leather is a gorgeous orangey-brown color, perfect for coordinating in early fall. My bag came with a few scuffs on the handle, but otherwise was in great condition! Only complaints are the bag will be floppy unless completely filled with stuff to give it structure, and the shoulder strap is an awkward width so slides off easily.

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how big this bag really is, because I wanted to use it as my day bag as well as plane bag for a trip to Italy (i.e. I needed it to be big enough but not too big). This ended up working out great-- definitely big enough to shove a light jacket and a couple guide books in during shoulder season in Italy, but not so big that I felt like I was carrying around a briefcase. I think the most I regularly put in here was 2 guidebooks, my kindle, a wallet, and a jacket. Maybe a water bottle too. The bag has enough structure that it doesn't look stuffed when there is a lot in it, and in fact I think it looks better when it's full. The shoulder strap was a bit too short to wear cross body (I'm 5'8"), but in a pinch I wore it that way just for ease. The leather is really nice, color goes great with everything-- overall a great bag! Thanks RTR!

I love this bag! It's a bit smaller than the size I prefer to carry, but it's great! Fits all of my every day essentials and is easy to carry! The shoulder strap is a little short for actually wearing across your body, but is still manageable if necessary! Will definitely be renting for a while... =)

It's large enough to throw everythign in for a day out on vacation, but also decent size to take to dinner/

I used this bag for vacation/airplane travel and it was perfect. It fit everything I needed to take with me - wallet, water bottle, make up bag, accessories.. the outer pocket was perfect to hold my book. Would rent this again.

I LOVE this bag. It has room for everything, the leather is beautiful, soft and durable all at the same time. The gold grommets add some interest without being too flashy.

My laptop fit in it, but just barely. It looked good, but I would have liked it to be a tad bigger. Also, the strap was an awkward length - ok for over the shoulder, but too short to wear across the chest. And the handles were too small to go on the shoulder. I used the bag a lot, but still would have liked it larger.

I rented this item because I loved the shape and color. The size was perfect, many interior pockets, exterior pockets, and adjustable strap that allows it to be worn comfortably like a messenger bag for my walking commute. When it arrived, I was disappointed by the quality. Not real leather and no variation in color tone. The zipper design is a bit clumsy too.

Ok bag but nothing special

This bag was shorter and wider than I expected but mostly it just looked cheap. Could be I just got one that's too beat up but it doesn't stand nicely like the satchel in the photo and the brass brads on the buckles look cheap. Very 1970's throwback but not in a good way.

I wanted something a bit more understated. The structure of the purse made it fall over.
