I sized up one or two on this and they were perfect - just a little looser but stayed put without falling down or being saggy. Leg is a bit longer and fuller, but the waist is fairly high and snug. One complaint is that the button fly is a lot of work, especially the top button which is for some reason very large.

I've been looking all year for a pair of shorts like this. Length was perfect - long enough without being awkward, snug at the waist and fitted enough though the hips to not be baggy but loose in the legs so they didn't ride up when i walked. Obsessed. If they weren't so expensive i'd buy them.

These fit, but are a little tight. I probably should have sized up for comfort. I do like that they're long enough to not feel like my rear end is hanging out of them. They're 100% cotton so hopefully they'll stretch a little throughout the day. The buttons are black and not copper like the RTR picture shows.

I've been wanting to try Rag & Bone denim for a while. These are true "mom jeans" shorts. Really cute but they said they were a size 6, I'm a size 4. And they were tight on me. Very little give. Size up for comfort.

I really liked these shorts, it’s not the best season to be renting shorts so I might rent again in the warmer months. These are a great length for moms and have good shape.

Love these shorts, perfect length - I almost bought them! Took 1 star off because the waist is snug and there is absolutely no give at all. I think if I went up a size the rest would be too big. After a few hours of sitting I definitely wanted them off, but they were so cute it was worth it!

These jean shorts are perfect - great length and very comfortable. Would have bought them if I didn't already have a black pair of denim shorts.

Loved these, sized up for comfort and really glad I did. I ended up buying them because I wanted a pair of comfy casual 'mom' shorts but it's nice b/c you can cuff them up to change it up a bit

I normally wear high waisted cut offs so I had to adjust to these They aren't beehive high at the natural waist, and then bag out from there. Plus they're long. Initially I was a little scared of the cut- very on trend but does it make me look huge? I styled them with a simple black tank and felt pretty trendy and cute

Very on trend, longer and looser in the leg area. Would say they fit a little loose, I wore the 27, which is normally a good size for me, but found that they were loose in the waist after only a few minutes of wear. Might be a little too cool for me, as I tend to follow a more millennial style than Gen Z style. Very fun to try this style out without having to buy.

I appreciated these. They were just a little snug, and after a few hours I would want to take them off. But I wore them on some outings on vacation.

These don't really have any stretch to them, but they fit (even if a little snug). They also don't have a zipper, just buttons, which was a little annoying.

Received these shorts new with tags from RTR! But that's where my excitement ended. The hem edges were clean finished and not frayed/distressed as shown. The hardware was all black tone metal, not contrasting brass or silver as shown. The overall effect of both these major style differences was to make this style look more conservative/preppy than I'd wanted. Would not rent again, unless they actually looked like what is shown on the model.

The high waist was just a bit tight and uncomfortable. Otherwise nice jean short.

My "perfect fit" is an Abercrombie 25 curve love. I sized up to a 26 on these, because I knew I probably needed a bit more room through the hips. Unfortunately, I could not even get these up over my upper thighs & butt. Such a cute style and a great length for us long legged girls, but there's no stretch in this denim at all. Size up!!

These looked very cute on the hanger, but unfortunately were too small to even begin to button up, so I’d definitely recommend do sizing up (possibly more than one size).
