It fits true to size. You certainly will not have to worry about the shoulders being too tight! The shoulder pads are padding, for sure. But this was such a fun dress and people loved it as an 80's Halloween costume. There were tons of compliments and I had such a fun time wearing it. Do be warned, it is not very breathable and can get quite warm.

Fun dress! Wore it to an 80s prom event. So many compliments. Bottom is pretty tight compared to the relaxed flowy top. It was way too short for me to pull off without flashing my rear. Huge shoulder pads perfect for the occasion. I opted to layer with a pair of white leggings and funky, sparkly high tops to keep my lady bits covered. Belted with a black sparkly belt. Very Punky Brewster!

I’m in between an 8 and a 10 and the 10 (or 42) fit me best w the waist and length. Skirt is short but grips to legs so doesn’t feel revealing. Sparkles make this a showstopper outfit!

Loved this dress! Wore to a glitter-themed birthday bash and got many compliments. The shoulder pads were straight up 80s level (prominent) but they went with the dress. The dress was short but didn't move. I found it to be very comfortable for dancing, etc... Word of caution, if you have textured hair it will fight with the sequins. I decided to wear mine up and everything was fine.

There is no other dress like this. It is super short and form fitting which I liked. The shoulder pads were ridiculous and at first I felt like a linebacker but somehow it worked. I was gonna wear it with clear heels but decided to dress it down a bit and go with some funky wedge sneakers. Plan on going with a clutch purse or handled purse, because any bag with a shoulder strap will not go well over the shoulder pad. It moves it around into your chest area. Not a good look. I had a lot of fun with this dress and got tons of compliments. I am known to "dress over the top" and this certainly complimented my reputation for that.
