I threw on a blazer and wore this to work, or it would be rally cute for a summer wedding.

Dress ran true to size. Though I'm petite, since having kids my rib cage expanded, necessitating a larger size in dresses which are fitted through the torso. This dress was super comfortable, easy to wear with a bra, and the cute bit of flair at the bottom gives it some interest. For as thick as the fabric seems it IS a bit more see through than you'd think- you have to carefully select underwear and if you are used to wearing spanks I don't know that they would work with this dress- really wearing nothing under it is best if you want it to lie best/most smoothly. The design is very flattering - creating the illusion of a waist if you have an athletic build with no waist and no hips like me. I'd recommend this to anyone!

The dress ran true to size. The fit was super flattering and flared out a bit at the bottom which made it super girly and fun to dance in!!

So.... I rented this for a cat. Our cat happens to look so strikingly similar to the dress that I just had to rent it and take some pics with us together (see pics). It made for a good laugh, and I never left home with the dress on. It was fine for my purpose, but I would have hesitated to wear it out and about. The pattern is beautiful and the waist triangles are really flattering, but the conservative dress is at odds with its uber-short length, greatly restricting its versatility and they types of events you can wear it to. I would prefer 3-6 more inches on a dress like this. While the dress is lined and comfy and not that tight (if you SIZE UP), and despite the fact that the outer layer is a thin wooly material with some texture, EVERY line of the undergarments shows through (see lovely belly pic of me where you can easily see the black tights at my waist).

Short, mod, and super fun. This dress is an easy choice if you're looking to stand out and still be a little classic. The retro feel of this dress makes it eternally cool. It runs true to size and has some stretch, but if you're looking for a true shift dress, size up on this one. Pair with a chunky necklace and flats for an unexpected cool city vibe.

I rented this for work and it was very comfortable. The material is a little heavy, but has some stretch. The color blocking looks great. I wore the size 2 because 0 was unavailable so it was a little big. I believe this dress is true to size and would look flattering on any body type.

Other reviewers have said the fabric is too warm, but I worn this in PHX in August and it worked out fine. Cute dress that whittles your waist... will need to wear spanx as the white portion has a bit of a tendency to show VPL. but otherwise a cute dress. I got a part of my Unlimited package and it probably wasn't special enough for me to have rented but for a daytime work dress with a little pizzazz... I enjoyed it!

I love how this dress looks--very 60s Betty Draper. Although the pattern is flattering, the construction was lacking. I had to pin up the lining, which was too long for the dress. Also, the fabric was heavy, but didn't feel very high-end. True to size, but tight, so I recommend sizing up for a better fit. I wore the 8, but would have preferred a 10. Ultimately, this dress is more fun than glam.

very comfortable. I can wear a 2 or a 4 in Raoul's dresses, but the 4 is more work appropriate and there is plenty of room to move around and eat in. the design creates a waist, which is always a positive. a regular bra works great and the hem hits about an inch above my knee. the material isn't very thick, but it is not summer dress material, easy to turn this into a winter dress with tights and boots. i would rent this dress again!

It was a little tighter in the waist than I expected, so I went with my larger size of the two. But it was very comfortable and looked great. I jazzed it up with sparkly shoes and a chunky necklace for a cocktail party.

I wore this to a formal fundraising event. I was very pleased with the dress when I received it. It is absolutely beautiful. I found it to be true to size and very flattering. It was fitted but comfortable, and the fabric was thick enough for fall weather but wasn't bulky. I received many compliments on the dress throughout the night.

It's a bit unconventional to wear this dress to most offices. But I have a bit of a flexible work environment when it comes to attire so I can be a little creative without being too over the top. This dress was great! Fun with a little black blazer to keep it looking chic and pulled together at work and it transitioned perfectly to dinner right after. :)

Modern fit, forgiving in the thigh area. The only strange thing is the wool material for a sleeveless dress. Would be good for nicer less conservative everyday NY workplace, with a blazer over it. Think it would make more sense with black tights. Overall, a great dress - worn for engagement video.

This is a good dress for fall/winter. The fabric is very thick. I was actually sent this dress after my original choice was returned late. However, I was sent the size 6. I am a pear shape, so the size 6 was tight across my hips. I couldn't wear it. However, I will definitely order this in a size 8 in the future. The fabric was stretchy, and pattern is very chic even on a short, curvy girl.

Fit was true to size but not forgiving in the tummy, I needed a flatter stomach to feel better in it. Mainly felt like the queen of hearts in Alison and Wonderland. Best on someone tall and slim with the large pattern.

I rented this dress for a "cocktail attire" party. The dress was cute but I did not realize it was wool and it didn't work for my event. It ran somewhat small and was not flattering on my mid-section. When I put it on it looked more appropriate for a formal business meeting and not a fun cocktail party dress. Still a great dress just did not work for the occasion.

Beautiful dress, fabric is thicker than expected (wool) and while the silhouette is pretty, the cut highlighted my midsection a bit too much in an unflattering manner. Not recommended if you ate a few extra cupcakes that week.

Very well made dress, high quality. That said, the fabric is very thick which adds a lot of bulk. If this was a more delicate material, it would have lived up to the name “flounce”. I didn’t wear this to my occasion.

Admittedly, I should have paid closer attention to the description, but this dress is made of wool. Yes, it's sleeveless. Yes, it hits mid-thigh. But it is meant for cooler temps + tights. Also, this dress runs small and is pretty fitted. Thankfully this was requested as a back-up dress so it ended up being a non-issue, but I would have been pretty upset if I'd had my hopes pinned on this one.

The fabric looks white on the website but it was more of a cream color in person. It's still a really flattering dress for work. Great length, pairs well with tights.

I like this dress a lot, although the fabric was heavier than I was expecting. The white parts also weren't that white on the dress I got -- more of an off white. I ordered this in a size 4 because the 2 was unavailable -- either I was actually sent a 2 (for some reason the tag with the size is missing, so I can't verify) or this dress runs very small because the (supposed) size 4 fit perfectly on me throughout the waist, whereas I often find that size 2 dresses are loose around the waist/hips on me.

I am so in love with this dress - I might have to buy it. The fabric was not what I was expecting - I was expecting chiffon, but it was heavier which was nice for a winter dress. It fit true to size and was really comfortable. My one complaint is that the lining peaked out at the bottom because I think the top fabric had shrunk a bit when it was previously washed.

This is one of the greatest dresses I've ever worn. It's perfectly professional for daytime and has the ability to be dressed up for night. It is super flattering, made of great material that doesn't wrinkle. I got so many compliments in this dress I was sad to send it back.

This is a form flattering dress with NO give in the hips. Don't even consider ordering a smaller size. I wore it for two different work occasions and it was perfect. I am 5'4" and it was a little long on me. Also, the fabric, including the lining, make it thicker than you'd expect. Super cute for an hourglass figure.

I ordered too small. Would like to try next size up. great lines - Although the fabric on the white part seemed many had spilled. It had been cleaned, and I felt like I might be able to get away with it for the day. However, the dress was in no condition for purchase.

Dress was nice but not fitted -- too boxy. And the lying was too long in front. Had to tape it up so it wouldn't show below hem.

I typically wear a size 6 for dresses, but I went a size up on this one since there weren't any available in 6. SO SHORT. I'm 5'10" - this barely covered my butt! It was also tight enough to show off every imperfect curve on my body. The dress itself is beautiful but I think I would have to go two more sizes up in order for it to be comfortable.
