I have huge hips, and it wasn't snug there at all. The length was a little short on me, but I wore some low heels and it wasn't an issue. The color is so beautiful, it really stands out above all the black formals you typically see. The only complaint I have is that the hanger straps refused to stay hidden in the shoulders. All of my late night photos have those hanging out :(

I usually wear a 4 but with this dress being backless the 2 fit much better. I have a small bust so the 4 gapped from the lack of volume in the front and lack of material in the back! Would definitely recommend this dress!!

At 5'11," I'm a little too tall even for the 6L. Otherwise, everything fit perfectly. I didn't want to send the dress back!

Great fit- amazing lines. The best part of the dress is by far the low back. Bra is necessary though so need to invest in a backless/strapless bra. VS has one for about $60 that worked perfectly. Got compliments on the dress all night!

I rented this dress for my senior prom along with another one because I wasn't sure which one I would want to wear. It came a day earlier than expected, so that was very exciting. It was a beautiful color in person, and was very light and breathable. It ran a little small in the hips and so I had to wear spanx just to smooth everything out. It was also about 2 inches too short, which is surprising because I'm only 5'6". The back was beautiful but the shoulders fell down a few times; but nothing a little fashion tape couldn't fix. The shoulder hanger string things fell down a lot so that was a little bit annoying. Overall, it was a gorgeous dress, fit very well, and I received tons of compliments! Love it overall!!!

I am almost 5'7'' and I needed the long even to wear flats with, so it runs a bit short. You definitely need a backless bra unless you are very small because the fabric isn't supportive in front.

Received a ton of compliments. The gown was beautiful. I would not recommend this dress for anyone who cannot get away with not wearing a bra. I tried those stick on bras and ended up taking it off at the church because I was so uncomfortable. Spanx or control top panty hose are a must unless you're in good shape.

The fit is gorgeous- I'm a bit bigger in the hips, thighs, and derrière region and this was a perfect fit. The top was a little bit loose and the shoulders slipped a bit, but I never was in danger of flashing anyone. The hanger straps were a big pain though and kept slipping out of the sleeves. The color is a rich jewel tone that was perfect for an early fall wedding, was totally black tie appropriate, and was sexy on top of that. Tasteful in the front with a more daring back, this dress is positively beautiful on. I paired it with cognac leather heels, and the Double Ingot Lariat necklace to drape down the back. I wore long earrings but only because that's what I had brought with me- I would have preferred bold studs. As usual, RTR's service was incredible- they rush shipped me this dress to replace a stocked-out item and threw in the necklace for free for the inconvenience. Love this service and cannot wait to rent again!

This was not my first pick. I rented a different dress, but it was damaged by the previous renter. I picked this dress as a substitute. PROS: great color for the holiday, GREAT customer service from RTR in a very tight timeline CON: too big (they only had this size available because it was around the holidays), silk (not water friendly), too long for petite individuals. Would rent the dress again in a different size.

Loved the color of the dress and the sparkle the shoulders provided. My only "con" was the shoulder pads/sparkle made the front a little heavy and caused it to pull forward a little, which was annoying but not the end of the world. And nothing a little fashion tape can't fix. Also for the bra - I used the Victoria's secret band expander - and wrapped it around my waist and then pulled the back area down under the gown. Had to fix it once or twice, but for a busty person I was really shocked at how well it worked. Highly reco it.

This dress fit perfectly (I am a 4/6, the 4 was perfect). It is a rich forest green color and the cap sleeves are show stopping - and the low back is really sexy. I recommend wearing a necklace down your back to draw attention. I got complements on this dress all night!

Pros: Classy, thicker material, beautiful green color, flattering on my body type, comfortable, adorable back, LOVED the dress!!! Cons: no bra, the hanger straps kept coming out of the sleeves and back, a little short (im 5'4'' and it was perfect length with no shoes) I wore the back up size 2 because my original size 4 was completely damaged a day before the delivery date. The way RTR handled this, was sending an email apology the night before delivery and sending a random sequined gown as a replacement. Luckily I could manage the size 2 but I am very disappointed in the last minute email communication. I was frantic knowing I needed to wear it in 2 days, which I had been planning on wearing this dress 5 months before the event, and I wouldn't have the correct size. RTR should have called! I did happen to check my email right before they shipped the dresses and called them to figure out a better solution. All green dresses in my size were sold out and I would have to manage the small size. Lessons learned, RTR only has one size of each dress so plan accordingly, and be open to last minute changes.

This dress was gorgeous and had just the right amount of bling for a black tie wedding - I was hesitant at first when I saw it on the hanger but I'm so glad I gave it a chance and tried it on. Very figure flattering and the color was AMAZING.

I wore this dress for a formal wedding and it was perfect! It was mid-February, so between the length and the color I felt very appropriate for the season. The little skin showing in the back too is just sexy enough. The dress was a bit short, but fit very true to size. I wore a really gold heel, so the show showing some didn't bother me.

I am 5'8". Even the L was a little short - would have been better with a kitten-heel height. Overall the dress is stunning, but it required special spanx and bra as the fabric was not forgiving.

I am 5'4, 34DD and typically wear a 6 in dresses. I rented both the 4R and 6R. They fit pretty much the exact same - not a huge difference between sizes,, but I ended up wearing the 6R just for mobility. The back of this dress does not go as low as I thought it would - so you could wear a special sort of bra or corset with this dress. I wore a sticky bra and was just fine. I wore 4 inch heels and the length was perfect for them. The color green is perfect and looks exactly like the picture.

The slit in the back was a pain because I couldn't take a full stride.

Gorgeous dress. The back is hugely flattering. Do your crunches, though; not a lot of wiggle room in the belly area. It was too short for me, so I didn't end up wearing it. The 6L would have been great.

This dress was pretty much exactly what I was expecting/hoping in person, and perfect for the evening wedding I wore it to. The one point of caution I would emphasize is on the length - I am 5'7", and don't like to wear tall heels, so I thought I could get away with a 4R (recommended for up through 5'6"). But the dress was quite short, even with flats, and unfortunately RTR didn't have a 4L available to overnight to me. The dress was so pretty that I wore it anyway, deciding no one would be looking at my feet. But definitely will pay closer attention to the size suggestions next time.

The slit in the back is pretty low so you may not be able to wear Spanx. I wound up returning it, as it was too long in t he shoulders and gaped in the back (I am 5' 4"). Probably best for someone 5 '6" and up. There was room for my DD's in this dress so that was a plus!

The low cut at the back doesn't let you wear a proper bra and with a pear shaped body type like mine, I filled the hip area of my size 2R dress, but the top ended up being too big, especially without being able to wear a bra with it. The dress also collected a lot of static so the bottom kept clinging to my legs. Returned the dress without wearing it.

This dress is made of a very thin fabric like crepe. It's absolutely not forgiving and showed every bulge. It even showed the lines of my Spanx. This should only be worn by thin women. I simply did not like the way it looked on and I did not like the feel of the fabric on my body. I did not wear the dress. It should also be pointed out that the dress is backless so accommodations need to be made for a backless bra. Those cost upwards of $30-$40. Just something to consider when thinking about the overall rental cost. I did get the free second size. It was too big in the shoulders.

Dress fit true to size and was the perfect length! Super comfortable and easy to move in... the one downfall, I was dancing ALL night long and got a little hot... it showed on the dress. However, overall, I LOVED wearing this dress.

Awkward fit. Dress felt okay throughout the toros (boning) but was big up in the shoulders and I was constantly fixing the sleeves. The smaller size was just too tight overall. Perhaps if you were bigger chested then I it would have laid better on you.

This dress is just ok. It fits as expected and the fabric is of good quality but it's just ok. The shoulder detail in the picture is more prominent in the picture than in reality. Also, a 12L isn't available which was needed at my height of 5'9". Skip it and go with something a bit more unique.
