This dress was my backup and so glad it worked out that way! I loved wearing this dress: it was beautiful, sexy, classy, easy to walk and dance in, very flattering, and "warmer" than my first choice. I wore it to an indoor, evening, black-tie optional wedding in the fall and it was perfect. My husband especially liked the bow detail on the back. It for sure accentuates an hourglass figure but never felt too tight anywhere. The neckline was plunging which was my only concern, but Res-Q tape held it against my normal bra with no problems. (You can wear a normal bra, just make it a low-cut one and be aware it may show in the back.) The chest may have been on the roomy side but my 32C and 34B bras filled it out where it was just right with the tape. I also pinned the hanger loops inside since they want to fall out of the sleeves. The 0P was perfect for my 5'2" height and 3 inch heels so the hem hit me just on top of the foot to where my shoes were peaking out. I never tried on the 2R but the 0P fit my petite, hourglass, athletic figure perfectly. It has a slight stretch to it but never felt too fitted anywhere. I would recommend for hourglass and broad-shouldered ladies.

This is a classy dress! The cut is flattering, breathable (not super tight/form fitting) and the bustle in the back is tastefully done. It looks very basic on the hanger but once you put it on and add jewelry, it looks very formal and elegant. The color is more of a blood orange but very close to red. I also love how I could wear a regular bra - no taping, no strapless, backless contraptions needed!

Wore this to a formal holiday dinner and loved this dress! Very forgiving fabric with a bit of stretch; perfect length for a mid heel (I'm 5'7"). I'm a rectangle body shape and this accentuated my waist nicely while leaving room for thigh and butt. Would definitely rent something similar again.

This dress was PERFECT. When I ordered the dress, I took a chance by not ordering a backup size, and I'm very happy I got lucky. The dress fit like a glove. I wore 3" heels with this dress and they were the perfect height. What made this dress even more perfect, is that it was extremely comfortable. Hands down my favorite dress. LOVED it.

Ran a little big for a 2r but was a beautiful dress and made my engagement pictures absolutely perfect. Wish it came in more colors because I would rent them all!!! Loved this dress so much

This dress was a replacement dress for the original one I got. The original one that I rented was unavailable. Customer service rep was awesome! Different ladies I talked to assured me that they will take care of everything, and they did exactly that! This dress was a little loose on me 'cause they only had 6R (I would imagine this will fit true to size to someone that is size 6R)- available, which was great! It gave me plenty of room to dance all night long! The dress showed off all my womanly curves. It was classy and a little sexy at the same time. I want to rent it again!

I wish I could own this dress! It was comfortable and creaseless through hours of socializing, dinner, and dancing. I would strongly consider renting it again. This dress is perfect for events where you want to stand out without being revealing. The tailoring and fabric on this gown really set it apart. The fabric is stretchy, soft, and very forgiving. However, if you are hippy, you will need to size up. I had to go up to a 6 in order to have the back lay properly. I could have worn a 4, but because the event was work related, I didn't feel comfortable having the hips overly tight. I am 5'6" and wore 3.5" heels. The regular length was about 2 inches shorter than I would have liked, but wasn't really noticeable.

I was nervous about the dress, because they only had a size 6, which would have been my back up size, and no size 4. However, it prob ended up being the perfect size, though there was a tiny bit of extra room in the waist, because my boobs were quite snug. You can't see the back, but the bow was perfect and made me look like I had a much more curvy and awesome butt than I actually have. All in all, it was a beautiful, sexy dress that hugged in all the right places and I got lots of compliments all night long! I would definitely rent this dress again!!

First girls, I am 6 ft 1 in tall. You can see in my photo that my shoes are clearly visible. That happens all the time for me but, it did not detract from the beauty of this gown. Another plus was that the train did not drag behind but skimmed the floor. Many people, strangers, stopped me to compliment me on how I looked. Then they would add, "your gown is just beautiful". I highly recommend this dress.

I wore this dress to a benefit for the American Heart Association. It fit like a glove- it was more fitted than it looks on he model, where I think it looks a little boxy. The fabric is heavier than I expected and had some stretch. Hence, the dress was both comfortable and structured. Highly recommend!

This dress fit fantastically. I was terrified since there was no back up size, but the 2R fit perfectly. It makes every part of your body, and curves look fantastic!

This was a back up dress and I did not wear it to my event b/c my first dress from RTR was better suited for the occasion. However I want to rent this dress again! It's so beautiful on. Wish I could have kept it!

Loved this dress! The color was poppy red, almost coral. I felt chic, modern, yet classic. I wore an 8R--the length was okay for me (6-feet tall) because without a booty to speak of the back hung lower than the front and went half-way down the back of my 3" heels. The 8 was an 8, a little too big on me (normally I'm a 6) but it wasn't grossly big, just body-skimming, not hugging. It was comfy for lots of dancing. The dress was not wrinkled at all when i unpacked it after a plane ride. The fabric is luxurious-feeling, and it's fully lined so you don't need an additional slip over tights. Two notes: 1) a regular bra was okay but I fretted a bit about it showing in the back and finally let my bra straps be a little longer so I didn't worry anymore. 2) the hanger straps kept coming out the armholes. I wish I'd anchored them loosely to my bra so they wouldn't have done that.

This dress fit my perfectly, everywhere. It was flattering, comfortable, and easy to dress down or up. For an hourglass shape, I haven't found a dress that wasn't tailored to me that fit better than this. The one bizarre thing- the lining has a slit up the front of the left leg, even though the dress does not. Because of this, the lining hangs down below the top layer quite significantly. However, if it were not there, the dress might have been too short on me. It was perfect and I hated returning it.

It was a beautiful dress. The length was just perfect with 3 inch heels, a tiny bit snug, but the 6 was definitely too big, and the bodice too long for my short torso. The red is a perfect shade, defineilty attention grabbing, but elegant, not garish. Overall I loved it!

This dress fit beautifully. Best compliment of the night: "you look like Miss Scarlett from Clue!" This dress was so fun to wear. I felt sexy but so classy at the same time.

Pros: material is really stretchy, great pick for hourglass ladies (I'm 36DD), the bow detail is lovely and the front is low-cut enough to be sexy without being too-much. Cons: I'm 39"-30.5"-42.5", and the bottom part hugged a little tightly on my frame. Also, the train will get stepped on unless you are careful.

I'm petite and was convinced any full length gown would be too long but this dress was perfect! It fit me like a glove and I felt gorgeous! The back detail was really pretty but I didn't get a picture of it :( I wore a regular bra and seamless undies without either showing. I'm 5'2.5" for any of the other worried short ladies out there. Didn't want to return this dress!!

This is my favorite rental yet! I rented this for the HRC National Dinner and I absolutely loved the look and the fit! I ordered the 4R and the 6R - I chose the 6R so the gathering in the back would hang properly and so that it would hit the floor with my 3 inch heels - it was a perfect fit! This dress didn't require any strange undergarments to make it work, so it was super easy to wear! I also love a dress with sleeves. Also, the night before my event my dress wasn't delivered by my mail person, so RTR over-nighted my dresses to make sure I had them for my event on Saturday. I just can't say enough about RTR's customer service - fabulous experience all around!

This dress was perfect for a black tie optional wedding. The fit was great, really comfortable and perfect for dancing. I'm tall and wore heels so I probably could have gotten away with ordering the long. The dress is slim through the hips and tummy and the bow details on the back is a great touch. The one complaint I had was that the hanging strings kept falling out of the sleeves. If I had thought ahead I would have secured them with a little dress tape. Overall, a lovely dress, would definitely recommend.

The dress hugged all of my curves in the right places, the defined waistline and bodice detailing made it a super flattering dress. The super cute bow detail right above the butt draws attention to that area, so if you want to show off your figure this is a great dress. The material is structured enough that even though the dress is form fitting from the bodice to hips it did not show all of my imperfections. The front and back are v-neck, but I did not feel overly exposed, the dress showed just the right amount of cleavage for my relatively small bust. I did not wear a bra with the dress, I just used stick on cups, but I think you could get away with wearing one. The dress does not go all the way down to the floor just like in the picture. I wore the 4R and it was perfect, but the 4L was waaaay too long on me. Overall, I loved it and highly recommend.

I would recommend this dress. It has an expensive elegant look. Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 star is The slip. It is too long but I was able to keep it up without much issue. I got the long because I appreciate a little train in the back . It was a very comfortable dress to wear.

Got this dress to wear to the holiday symphony and it was perfect. The color was beautiful and the detail in the back looked very sexy yet classy. In general it was true to size but I have a very small waist and the material was a little stretchy so I went with the 6 rather than the 8. I also wanted to wear very low heels so I got 6R and that worked out great. There is a little bit of a train in the back, but it didn't get in the way and made it look more formal. Highly recommend this dress.

I received many compliments on this dress and all the little details were just right. I liked that it was modern feeling and the tomato-red color could work year-round. Very comfortable, although I don't know if someone with a large chest or hourglass figure would like the drape (I have more of an athletic build). The 2L was hemmed and possibly shorter than the 2R. This dress has a small train that dragged on the floor, but it wasn't noticeable or a problem walking. I liked that I could wear a regular bra, but ended up wearing stickies because I didn't want to pin the back strap down (someone else had done this and there was a small hole). The little zipper pull on the side was worn, but I noticed this on all three dresses I rented, so maybe not a big deal; this was my first Rent The Runway experience and I was very happy!

I loved this dress, especially the bow on the butt (which was very flattering!). I chose not to wear a bra so I wouldn't look too busty but I could've worn one with this dress!

The fit of this dress was beautiful and so flattering. The color is more of an orangey red than a true red. I paired it with black tassle earrings and black clutch.

The bow detail on the back was the stunning part, but the fit overall was very flattering. There was a little room in the upper hip area on me but it wasn't bad. I felt confident and it was easy to move in. Bra strap showed a little in the back.

I wore this dress for my engagement photos! The color really popped on camera... my photographer specifically recommended finding a bright tomato/orangey red dress, as that color just GLOWS on film. This dress fit the bill perfectly. I'd describe it as a vermillion/persimmon/tomato instead of a true red. I am generally a 4 in dresses, but I wore the 2L; I am top heavy/inverted triangle shaped (36" 32DD bust, 27" waist, 36" hip) so I have issues finding a dress that fits all over. This one worked well for me because of the stretch crepe fabric. It was a little more revealing than I anticipated in the chest and had just a smidge too much room in the hip for me. However, I really loved how it looked! I am 5' 7.5", wearing 3" heels. In the 2L, it was just a little too short (about 1.5" clearance from the ground), but it didn't bother me. Did not love the bow on the butt, but I got over it because the rest of the dress turned out so well.

Absolutely loved this dress! I'm 130 and 5'3" and the 6P was great with tiny heels. Probably could have pulled off a size 4P but it wasn't available. Rented for a gala, The now in the back was the cherry on top! Material is soft and stretchy. I used a little body tape to keep the shoulders in place, helpful if you have shorter torso. Definitely recommend this dress!

This dress is incredible. I loved wearing it, it is so comfortable - you can really break it down and dance, which I loved. I actually loved the length - being 5'3" dresses that are floor length usually drag, but this was perfect with 3" heels. I got a bazillion compliments and it photographed so well. I highly recommend! I wore shape wear with it and you couldn't see a thing! Bra isn't possible with the back being open, but you can tape them or wear sticky boobs, no problem. High recommend this dress!!! I would rent it again if I didn't take so many pictures!
