The first rental I seriously considered buying. WOW. It's so dang flattering. The only issue, as other renters noted-- is the zipper sort of bunches up and the slip underneath is VERY short. It's not a see through dress though so that didn't really bother me. Loved the length.

The zipper was wonky and did not lay flat but the dress was comfortable and chic for thanksgiving.

I rented this dress for a Victorian tea party-themed bridal shower, and it was a perfect look for the occasion. This bias-cut dress is stunning and so very flattering-- about half of the time and in half of my photos from the party. The other half of the time you can see the wonky, bunched up side seams totally ruining the curve-flattering potential of the dress. Poor construction choices were made, such a shame! I sized up in hopes that it would pull less but I don't think it made a difference.

Others mentioned the wonky zipper and it's definitely a thing. I rented to wear at home for New Years, not sure I would have worn it out. Also the lining is weird and stops at the zipper, which means it didn't even cover my butt. Too bad because the dress is so cute otherwise.

Absolutely loved this dress. This was my first time renting a dress from RTR and I was not disappointed. I loved the vintage flair that it gave me and the small fit my body perfectly.

I posted this one on Instagram and got mixed reviews. Some loved it and others hated it! I like a little controversy. It wasn't really something I'd ever rent. The length is tealength, the sleeves are puffy, it's two plaids one of which is purple... not very me! But it worked. Very fun to wear and I got a lot of compliments that day (and after posting it!)

This dress was so cool and fun. I paired with navy wedges. I would have given 5 stars but for the weird zipper lumps on the hip. I'm pretty straight measurements and felt good. I think a pear shape might be better to fill the bottom more and stretch the zipper flat. Also - open back so sticky cups only for a bra.

Ended up not wearing because of the fit

Cute but size up if you have curves. The fabric was clinging to me and a bit unflattering at my height as it fell just at my knee (vs below). Better for someone 5'8" or under, or with less curves to pull the fabric up.

This item fit very well. The bias cut is flattering and I liked the length on me, so I purchased to keep. 5'4" 112 lbs

RUNS SMALL

I am not sure where I'll be wearing this yet, but I thought it was unique and I wanted it as an option in my closet so I purchased it as final sale. As other reviewers said, the sides don't lay flat. I think it has to do with how the seams in the lining and the seams in the dress are sewn. I am considering taking it to a seamstress to have her fix the issues. If fixed, I'd probably wear it more and be less self-conscious of the sides.

I got this dress for a book signing event. It's super cute and the cut really highlights your curves. It fits true to size. My only critique is the zipper is a little wonky and makes one side of the dress pop out more.

I previously rented the top that looks like this dress and loved it. The dress not as much. Because of the bias cut it puckers at the hip area. Not flattering on me. Probably better for someone thinner.

Bunches near the hips

I'm not sure if this was the dress or the dress being slightly too small for me. Right now, I'm around a 10/12. My hips & butt are definitely the curviest part of me. When I put it on, along the side seams, it was really crinkly. I couldn't figure out if was that my curves were too curvy for the dress or if the dress was odd. Regardless on someone who is less curvy, the bunching would be much less visible.

I ordered XS in all the clothes I got this month, and they all fit except for this one which literally would not go past my thigh! I was shocked and disappointed that I didn’t even get to wear it because it was the item I was looking forward to most. If you are interested in renting this I would size up at least 2 sizes

Such high hopes but it's poorly made. Listen to the other reviewers. The side seam has all of these bumps that are so distracting and take away from dress. Colors are gorgeous and other items from this brand have been fab but this is a dud. I sent it back

I loved the style of this dress however the zipper on the side completely puckers out on the side. I had to wear a jacket over it.

I thought this dress would be a guaranteed hit. The fabric near the hips didn't fall correctly on me and I ended up looking like a house. From the side it was very flattering. If you don't have curves this dress would be amazing, if you do, steer clear of this dress. Fabric and pattern were nice, however

The top of the dress is incredibly short, so the seam hit mid-lower breast, instead of under, as intended. The side seam was cut strangely, and the zipper puckered, and the sleeves were more voluminous than shown in the image. The print and fabric is pretty nice considering the retail. Did not wear.

I think if you had the right body for this dress (small rib cage, medium chest) it would be great. I tried both the xs and s but couldn't get either to fit right. The XS was too small around the rib cage and the s was too big in the chest. Also you will need a backless bra for this one.
