Wow!
I was stalking this dress pretty much since our friends set the date for their wedding. I think I had my dress picked out before the bride did lol. This dress was everything I dreamed of and more! I did have a little anxiety when I found out the 6 was damaged by a previous renter so this was probably the first time I was ever relieved to need to size up. The 8 fit perfectly, even on my trouble zone- my hips. And if it hadn't RTR's wonderful stylists were so helpful and in constant communication to help me with a backup dress (at no extra charge). I got so many compliments on this dress (even a " you look smokin'" from the bride herself haha). Once again, RTR does not disappoint!

This dress made my night!
Obviously I am much curvier than the model in the pitcure and this dress really does hit you in all the right places. It cinches at the waist where it should and there is plenty of room for your womanly curves to fit in. I got the 10 long as it was all they had available, and it was really long; I have 4 inch heels on in the picture and 2 inches were left puddling on the ground. When I walked however, I just struted so the dress lifted up on it own so I wouldn't trip on it.

I lost track of how many people stopped to say "Wow! You look amazing!" The dress was a huge hit
The dress definitely runs a little small. The size 6 was as tight as I would be comfortable wearing, and in most dress brands I wear a 4. Also, it is not a modest neckline if you have a larger chest. But it's absolutely beautiful, and really stands out as different from the other dresses at a formal affair. The emerald green color got a lot of compliments.

Amazing emerald gown! Again, stands out among the black formals.
Need two sided tape, if smaller busted. For athletic types, the lace may be slightly snug in the shoulders/upper arms and slim in the hips & upper thigh region (thank goodness for Spanx).

This dress is awesome! I received many complements and the color of the dress is perfect! If definitely is true to size/runs a little small. I am usually a 8 - 10 but ended up fitting in the 12!

Felt like a celebrity on the red carpet.
As an avid renter, this might possibly be my new favorite. I wore it to a black tie event and had been waiting for an opportunity to wear this dress because it's so gorgeous. I thought it was the perfect mix of sexy and sophisticated.

Classic + Elegant!
Other reviews said the dress ran small, so I sized up. However I would disagree, I think sizing up made the dress *slightly* big and I wish I had stuck w/ my regular size. This dress is phenomenal. So flattering -- hides any problem areas while accentuating the "good" areas! It is a little low cut but fashion tape kept everything in place. I'm only 5'5, so the dress was a tiny bit long, but you will be okay as long as you wear 3-4 inch heels. Hands down the best dress I have ever rented, I was extremely sad to send this one back.

Much better than I thought!
This was one of the first RTR dresses I fell in love with, when browsing the site. And it turned out to be perfect for a 1930s-themed wedding. The original size I ordered (6P) came in damaged from a previous rental, but RTR gave me 2 weeks notice--plenty of time to find a new dress to wear. This is the 8R (back-up size) they sent. I almost wore it to the wedding. Other reviews are right: it runs small, it is a little tight at the shoulders. But since I have a small chest and am not curvy, this dress worked for my body type. I ended up going with a different dress that I felt didn't show my love handles, but almost wore this one. I also must take a moment and praise the RTR customer service for helping me select a new dress for my occasion. This was the first time I used RTR and am so glad I added the PRO membership!

The lace was gorgeous.
I would have liked a long (I'm 5'8") but it wasn't available for my weekend. The 8 was snug, and in the beginning I was worried that moving my arms would tear the lace, which already had a tiny, barely noticeable hole. It fit great through the body, and the neckline was sexy but not indecent for a formal ball. I didn't need fashion tape or anything, the neckline stayed exactly where it was supposed to.

The dress was very glamorous, i got a lot of compliments.
The top fit a little strange. It gapped in the waist under the bust where the material gathers so I had to use safety pins to secure the darts.

The customer service from RTR was impecable, I tried 3 different dresses at no additional cost to me
This dress probably fits beautifully on someone will more narrow hips which would allow the dress to 'fall' to the floor. However, my hips cause it to stop at the hip and kind of bunch at the mid section; it would have probably also helped if I had a larger chest to fill out the top. Fashion tape the the rescue! I think I was able to finagle a decent fit, but I definitely had to think about how I was standing/sitting all night as to not have a wardrobe malfunction :)

The lace detail on the back was gorgeous, as well as the color!
This dress was really fun to wear. The green color was different from every other dress. The only note I would add, is that if you have a chest, it is going to show. I would think this dress would look a little bit more classy on a flatter chest. However, double sided tape did the trick and I did love wearing it.

Wore this to the RTR event and had a blast!
I tried a 2L and a 4R- the 2L was better for length (in high heels, and I'm 5'9") and fit well on top, but was too tight through the hips for me. I ended up wearing the 4R with kitten heels but had to safety pin the deep V neck. The lace is gorgeous but gives no flexibility so it's actually somewhat difficult to get this dress back off over your head. All of that being said, I felt amazing and sexy in it, especially after some professional makeup at the RTR event!

The dress is beautiful, but does not fit all body types as seen on model.
It's definitely very, very, very low-cut. Also, the cinching of fabric under the neckline wouldn't sit properly so I had make an alteration by securing it with a safety pin!! The fabric will not stretch so make sure to order a size up as the garment runs small.

Pretty, but imperfect.
This dress would be gorgeous if it fit perfectly, but it's made with odd proportions. As others have said, the bust is extremely large. I thought I'd be okay since I'm a D-cup, but there was just way too much room in both the 8L and the 10L. On the other hand, the 10L fit nicely in the hips, while the 8L was a little tight (I would have been able to wear the 8L even with the tighter hip cut, but it arrived damaged). Both the 8 and the 10 were far too long with 3" heels. Overall, the fit was just really poor. That said, if you have a large chest and small hips, this is the dress for you. I recommend that girls under 5'10" get the regular length, though, even if you're planning to wear heels.

This one was too small.
The color and style of this dress was perfect. The shoulders, waist, and length were great, but it was not even close to zipping around my chest. There is no stretch in the dress at all. I would suggest only renting this if you have a flat chest.

Felt like the bell of the ball! In a sea of mostly b&w, the color couldn't have been more unique.
Fit cons: small bust which made for a night of fidgeting with my fabric tape trying to make sure I wasn't flashing anyone. Fit pros: length was perfect and the dress was very complimentary to the shape of my body.

I got so many compliments at the Military Ball!
This dress is absolutely stunning!! Love the fit of it and I got so many compliments all evening. I wore it to a military ball and the style was perfect for the occasion. HOWEVER, when you order this dress make sure you order a size or 2 up. I am usually a size 8, so I ordered a 10 and a backup of 12. I ended up wearing the 12 because this dress has no stretch to it. Also, this is a low cut dress so I ended up wearing fashion tape to keep my boobs from falling out. I would absolutely wear this dress again because it is so comfortable and gorgeous!!

Stunning. Different. Low cut!
This is a very low cut dress. I had to get creative with safety pins and pin up about 2 inches to make this appropriate for a conservative military event. This would probably be unnecessary for someone with a long torso and small chest, but I'm short and busty. That said, it is an incredible dress and I got lots of compliments. And it is definitely a different color choice than the sea of black and red dress I was standing among. As for length, I'm 5'1" and wore 3" heels. It was probably 1/2 inch too long, but it would have been fine if I sucked it up and wore higher heels.

Timeless Classic!
I loved this dress! Everyone told me that I looked like Kate Winslet in Titanic because the dress is timeless. I ordered a 4 and a 6. I wore the 6 because the material does not stretch and I needed the extra space for my hips. The front is very low, but I was able to make it work with some fashion tape. I would definitely recommend this dress!

Tons of compliments but low cut and not for the faint of heart
I was very apprehensive about this dress when I first received it. I am not a small but I have a very square shape (no waist, no hips, no bust). This dress in some ways was perfect for my shape because of the way the fabric gathers in the waist but the dress was snug. When I first zipped it, I hoped it would work because it is form fitting but I think that a larger size would have made the dress too baggy. I had fashion tape but did not need it (blame my small bust) as the dress laid appropriately. All in all, for a girl who typically shops for a "fancy looking bag" I loved this dress even though I don't think that I would ever purchase this dress retail.

simply gorgeous
I wore this to my prom and I really liked it. It was not my first choice but rent the runway sent it to me as a back-up because there was a problem with the original and I actually liked this one more. However, I don't think I would spend $400 on a dress for one night! Here is the rundown: COLOR: amazing, amazing. amazing. I searched in vain for months for a dress this color. FIT: Fitted at the hips. I have big hips and I dont think this runs small. The long is VERY long, I wore 3.5 inche heels and I'm not short and I had to hold it while I walked or it would have been dragging everywhere. MATERIAL: the lace has no give or stretch, there was already a slight tear in a sleeve that really became an issue as soon as I tried it on for the first time. Not sure if RTR will charge me for this. Catches very easily. Otherwise I did not find the body of the dress to be without ANY stretch, though it is not terribly forgiving if youre stomach is not 100% flat. (see note about spanx) OTHER: fashion tape (included) a definite MUST for the breast area, it is rather plunging. I wore a new bra and it worked great with the fashion tape, I do not think that area was too small. I wore spanx but I wish I hadn't. they just left a line and weren't smooth enough under this dress. Overall beautiful dress, can't imagine a better prom dress.

Gorgeous!
I ordered three dresses for my event and this was probably one of my favorites. I have a large bum so the fit is very tight in that area and small waste and upper body, so until I loose weight and get a boob job I will not be renting this dress. Again, I loved it and it was a beautiful color but just didn't flatter my curvy figure.

Gorgeous, but runs small.
I ordered my usual size (10) in this dress, but it was too small. I wish that the other reviews had not said it ran true to size, since the 12 probably would have been perfect. If you are curvy and have hips, definitely size up. It's beautiful though -- I may try again with the larger size.

So many compliments!
This is a gorgeous dress. So stylish and classy yet sexy. I have honestly never received so many compliments on a dress or an outfit in one night - from total strangers at a black tie affair, and from everyone ranging from young and glamourous socialites to older women. It was a hit! It's a form-fitting dress with no real stretch, but I felt it did fit true to size and did define the waist in a lovely way. The long length was perfect with reasonable 3" heels - I definitely couldn't have gone higher with the heels. Had just a couple issues with the dress, all easy to plan around - first was the bust area - obviously it was a deep v and it looked gorgeous, but there was a lot of excess fabric on me (I'm very small in that area anyway) and it draped a little funny, plus was so extremely loose up there that I was risking a wardrobe malfunction ALL night. If I had thought ahead and had fashion tape it would have been fine, but it was difficult to deal with and made me quite self conscious and worried all night. The other issue is the cap sleeve - it's lovely and looks gorgeous, but with delicate lace like that you need to be careful about arm movement. It made dancing quite difficult as my arms/shoulders were really quite constricted. In short, I think this dress would be perfect for any black tie affair where dinner/mingling was more the plan rather than dancing, and renters absolutely need to have fashion tape on hand!

Picture does not do it justice!
I ordered this as my back up dress and could not believe how sexy and beautiful it was in person. Unfortunately, the top was too big so I was unable to wear it for my event. It definitely runs true to size, but I guess my bust could not fill out the top and I was hanging out. I ordered the 2 and the 4 and the 4 fit perfectly.

Didn't fit; ended up wearing the Badgley Mischka, Night at the Oscars Gown in a 2L and loved it!
Beautiful gown, but it was only available in the 2L and it just didn't fit. Every dress I have rented from RTR I have ended up wearing the 2L size, but I probably needed the 4 or even 6 which probably would have been to big in the bust. Just not the right cut for me. The overlay is slightly stretchy, but the lining has no give at all, so it just wouldn't fit over my hips.

So close!
This dress was gorgeous - I wish I could have worn it! Fit beautifully to all of my curves when I tried it on, except when I then attempted to take it off, the dress was far too tight under the arms. I couldn't get out of it! Once finally freed from it (with a little help from my husband), I got nervous about wearing it and ripping it when hugging people or dancing, and opted for one of my backup dresses. Such a shame - it is an awesome dress!

This dress was beautiful but I didn't get a chance to wear it because the top was too big. It was either made for someone more busty (I'm a B) or someone with a slightly longer torso. If I pulled up the shoulders about two inches it looked great ;) Wish I could have worn it - or that it was at least available in a 0!

The back of this dress was stunning as was the amazing emerald green color.
This dress ran a bit small. The 2L was too tight and I would have been stepping on the dress all night. The 4R fit perfectly even though it was a bit short with 4 inch heels. The material was amazing and very comfortable. The only restriction was the lace cap sleeves. Because the lace was so delicate I could not lift my arms up making it very difficult to dance and I was constantly worried about ripping the lace. Overall it was a stunning dress. If in doubt I recommend getting an extra size up.

I thought this was going to be my favorite but the fit was so weird. It was loose in the chest, tight at the hips. Just all around didn't work on me. I have a long torso so maybe the dimensions weren't right for me. Beautifully made though.

Avoid this dress
I took a chance and rented this dress because I loved the color and the lace, even though most of the other reviews complained about the strange fit. I should have listened to their advice because the fit is awful. I am 5"7 and normally a size 4, both in clothes and other RTR gowns. I ordered a 6R because it was the only size left. It was incredibly small and too short. The area around my midsection/ribs was way too tight, but also had fabric ballooning outward underneath my breasts. The zipped along the size made weird bumps down the dress and along my hips. The cleavage was just way too much for me. It was incredibly revealing even though I have a small chest. Not like how the model looks in the picture. Double sided tape wouldn't work for me because the top was so tight. Very sad, but I would not recommend this to anyone else.
