Hi there, this dress runs small all over but large in the bust. It also requires a low back bra. It is an amazing dress for curvier girls. I typically wear a 4 or 6 and was comfy in the 8R. a 6 would have been way too small. I did have a little bit of room in the bust so if you're not busty you may have trouble with this dress. also, i wore it with giant heels (4.5" wedges) and i am 5'2 and the length worked. So petite/curvy girls, this could work for you!

I absolutely loved his dress. My husband told me I looked more beautiful than the day we were married. I accessorized with my own belt and rented the cuff and earrings from RTR, as well. The dress fit my hour glass shape perfectly. It supported me so well that I didn't need a bra. The fit was AMAZING.

The dress runs very small. I normally wear 0-2 and I wore a 6L. The top is definitely designed for women with a larger bust, but even though I had some room up top, absolutely no one could notice. The waist is cinched and defines your body so well. The fit through the bottom was fantastic for me as well. I'm a little bottom heavy and I had no problem sitting in the dress (even with eating, drinking, and cake.) the back of this dress is stunning and the way the skirt sways when your dancing is unreal. I wore 5 and a half inch pumps and the length was just above the ground. I wish I didn't have to send it back and I'm pretty convinced I will rent it again.

Totally obsessed with this gown- its gorgeous, unique and minimalist, and the color is a darker, deeper blue than shown in the model photo. I'm normally a 0/2 and I had to wear a 4 in this. The waist was still very fitted on me. The good news is that if you're bustier this dress will probably work for you- I'm a 32DD and still had some room in the top of this gown. The Long length was a great length on me too with 4 or 5 inch heels. Love this!! Definitely one of my favorite gowns on the site.

This dress did run small, I fit into the 8L but the 10L didn't wrinkle in the midsection at all. I have wider hips and a small waist and this dress fit me like a glove where other dresses just don't cinch enough. Also, the dress is much more blue in person- a deep beautiful blue, not the periwinkle color that the model wears. I actually liked the color much more in person. Highly recommend this dress, I would have kept it if I could! The 10L fit my height perfectly with 3 inch heels.

This dress is of excellent quality. Unfortunately I ordered it in a size bigger than mine (4L) under suggestion of RTR stylist and of some of the reviews. Even if it doesn't show in the pictures the breast area remained empty and I could not wear it. If you are small in the breast and in the waist areas go for your size. I will rent it again in a 2L. I would use a colorful (yellow, pink, green) silk large belt to highlight the waist.

This dress was absolutely amazing!!! I am just a little over 5'1, i weigh about 125 lbs, and my body typle is athletic yet very straight. This dress accentuated my waist and hugged my hips. It fit like a glove. I am Between a 4 and 6 but i had decided to order a 6 and 8. I would recommend getting your typical dress size and the next size up. I really could have been any happier and i received tons compliments.

After reading through lots of reviews of this dress I decided to go up a size. I usually wear a size 6. So I got an 8 and then just to be on the safe side, I got a 10 as my backup. I could not for the life of me zip the size 8 up! Then, Even the size 10 was snug but thankfully it worked!! Lets just say this dress is very form fitting and is made to shape some curves. I am a size 36D so I did fill the dress out but I still used two sided tape to make sure nothing was seen that wasn't meant to be seen. Overall this dress is fabulous! The color and fit are stunning. Just beware when renting......order up!

I was in love with the dress, and ended up getting it as a replacement backup dress. I tried it on excitedly, and while it did fit (as in, I could zip it up), it would not stay put. The bust of the dress wanted to throw forward, and the back is so low, there's nothing to keep the bust from tipping way out...unless you are a triple D. I am between a size 4 and 6, wearing a 34 C or D, and even with VS two-cup enhancer I could not fill up the front of this dress enough to keep it from pitching forward (with a regular bra, it was about a 6" gape!). Before you get any ideas, this CANNOT be fixed with fashion tape, or even duct tape. This dress is heavily boned on the interior, with a built-in corset of sorts, much too solid and heavy to be held by adhesives. My only hope was to get a low-back bustier that I could pin or tack the dress to, but there were none to be found the day of my event. After about two hours trying to make it work (and I'm pretty creative when it comes to making it work), I sadly gave up. At 5'6", I needed 5" heels with 1" platforms to get the 8L up off the floor enough to walk. Overall, runs at least 1 size small, you MUST have a tiny-waisted curvy body to wear this dress.

Loved the dress! Amazing color, even more vibrant in person than in the picture! It was a little tight in the hip area though.

This dress definitely runs small. I normally wear a 6-8 and sized up based on reviews. The 8L was way too short even without shoes and a little snug in the hips. The 10 was a bit large for me in the chest, but fit perfectly everywhere else and I was able to wear 3" heals. . My 17 year old daughter who is roughly the same size as me, but a little more athletic ( less curvy) tried both on and it did not work as well on her body type. ( Usually she looks much better than me in everything). I got more compliments on this dress than I EVER recall getting, with lots of " You look like you should be accepting an academy award" comments. Had a blast and can't wait to use RTR again!

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding - it is a beautiful gown. It fit - but was slightly snug - the next size up might have been a bit better. I would suggest you order your true size and then one size larger as a backup. I'm not a busty person and had a bit of space in the chest area; however, I simply inserted bra pads (they were inexpensive to purchase) and it worked perfectly. I'm 5'7" and the long was fine. It was fun to wear such a beautiful dress!! Loved the experience!

I'm 5'8 and usually a size 4 or 2 in a gown depending on the fit. I rented the 4R and 2L (they were out of the 4L). The 4R was too short for my height and was too tight at the hips...just didn't lay right because of the tightness. The two although the length was fine, I couldn't even zip. Probably because it's a mermaid it's a dress that hard to fit right and therefore harder to rent then a dress that just flows.

This dress is perfect. Got lots of compliments. I was so pleased with the service I received. Will rent again.
