Because this truly is a designer dress, it runs a little small. But the construction / quality is incredible -- I've actually rented this dress before in the hunter green.

This is a beautiful modest dress. Though it is figure flattering it is long enough that it is very appropriate for a more conservative event. Loved the lace. It does run very small! I had to order up. Normally I'm a 4 or 6 but I read the other reviews and ordered the 8. Thankfully I did. My normal size would have been way too small in this dress.

I had initially ordered a different dress for my rehearsal dinner for my wedding. I received this dress because the dress I had originally ordered was returned damaged and was not able to be sent. The stylist that I worked with, Rachel, was incredibly helpful. She had initially added the same size that was not able to be sent in the other dress (8) but after I read the reviews, I discovered the dress appeared to run small. So I emailed Rachel and asked her if it would be possible to get a size 10 instead. She responded by saying she would just add that onto the order as well. I was amazed at the quality of customer service! As for the dress, the 10 fit like a glove! It was absolutely beautiful and perfect for the end of my wedding!

Ahh I die over this lace dress from Reem Acra!! The 6 was perfect on me - I am usually that size. It was so ladylike and slim fitting. I wore this to a University Club Casino night in NYC. I was nervous about the color washing me out with being blonde, but after this photo was taken, I put on a a berry stained lip, huge yellow sparkly earrings and it popped perfectly. This dress is a must for any event that you want to feel sophisticated.

I received this dress after my original order was damaged. This was a great back up for a holiday party and set me apart from the classic red, green, and black dresses. This was a little snug but had a great look in photos. The zipper does get stuck so be patient.

I wear a 6 pretty much in everything and I got this dress in green and a size 6 and could not even ZIP it up! I was so bummed and it was 2 days before the wedding, AND we were flying out the next day. They were so accommodating at RTW and since there wasn't an 8 in the green, they shipped the nude color one to the hotel in PA. I received it the morning of the wedding and tried it on. It fit, and I loved it, but it really had no give at all. After sitting for dinner for an hour I was pretty uncomfortable, but I LOVED the way it looked.

This dress is so beautiful! If anything it was a little snug but in a good way-fit like a glove! The lace is gorgeous and the color was perfect. Know that there is no slit In the skirt so dancing was a little difficult but I didn't care!

This dress was sent as a back-up after my original dress was reported unavailable at the last minute. While the photos of the dress on the model look more "mocha," in person it was definitely less brown. Loved the details around the neck and arms, though the bottom seam was twisted/laying funny. Ultimately, I did not wear this dress because it was difficult to walk in (very slim fit with little stretch).

This is a form-fitting dress and is very flattering. Very comfortable to wear and definitely caught many eyes. Just keep in mind that the dress hugs your body, but that's what it is meant to do!

It's a bit snug in the hips (but wearable), able to wear a push up bra in it (lots of bust room), I usually wear a size 4 or 6, but I had to wear a 10. No room for stretching, so be prepared to wear a strong material with no wiggle room, but still enough that I could dance out on the floor.

This AMAZING dress would have been my absolute favorite outfit of all time, if I had received the right size. After reading the reviews about it running very small, I decided to rent the size 8 (with 10 as a backup because 6 was unavailable). I am a street size 4, 130#. On the day it was supposed to ship it became unavailable for whatever reason (damage or late return I'm sure), so I was sent the size 10. The 10 was not terrible, but baggy enough that I knew it didn't fit as it should; the 8 is what I needed and it would have fit PERFECTLY. This dress is stunning. I was worried about looking washed out as I am dark blonde and very fair, so I had applied some self tanner beforehand and I thought it looked really nice. The lace design is gorgeous and the neckline and sleeves (I always worry about cap sleeves because I don't have slender arms) are incredibly flattering.This dress is a dream for an hourglass shape. I am more of a pear shape, so I probably would have added a decently padded bra to fill in the top half (I'm not well-endowed). It hit me right in the middle of the knee and I'm 5'5". You will not be disappointed if you rent this dress, as long as you get the right size. I took off one star only because I was disappointed to not get the 8. RTR customer service was phenomenal, as always, and I know they would have gotten it to me if they could. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat.

The hem was a little thick with the lining, so had to be careful it didn't show.

I rented this dress for a garden party charity luncheon and it was perfect. It is does run slightly small and I wish I rented one size up, but it was still ok. I was a little disappointed that some of the lace seemed to be fraying, but it wasn't bad enough to prevent me from wearing it. Overall, a classic choice you can't go wrong with!

Stunning dress with a bright lip so it doesn't wash you out (if you are pale). Compliments all night. Gorgeous.

This dress is hands down the most gorgeous dress I've rented from RTR. It can go day or night which i was worried about. It is very snug. I am a 2 and the 4 was just snug enough...I'd go up a size or two for back up size for sure. Doesn't give a lot in the legs so not ideal for any kind of dancing type event. I have gotten so many compliments on it, I wish I owned it!

This dress is extremely beautiful, but I was so very disappointed I couldn't wear it at all. I'm normally a size 8, 98% of the time I don't even have to try things on. This dress was running soooo small, I would have to gone up two or three sizes to even get have a chance of wearing it! I was so grateful to RTR for substituting it for me when the dress I had selected came back to them unwearable the day before my rental was due to ship to me. The staff did everything possible to contact me, and did substitute this choice for me. I was so thrilled when I saw how gorgeous it was on the hanger, I couldn't wait to wear it, but when I tried to put it on, I could barely get it on, and when I did, well forget pulling it down and zipping it! I still would recommend it, but have to say rent two sizes up to have a chance to wear it! Too bad for me, I even had the perfect shoes to match! Thank you anyway for your efforts RTR!

I usually wear anything from a size 6 to a 10 and this dress in a 12 was a joke. Couldn't begin to zip it up. It was a nice dress but looked a little matronly for someone my age (30s). Didn't love it and didn't mind not wearing it.

I'm usually a 4, ordered an 8 and it was still snug. I am pale and i didn't find the color flattering on me, however, on a tan or darker skinned woman this dress would be lovely.

I rented this dress for an event related to my job but the 4 was tight so I swapped it for another dress at the last minute. It was pretty, jut a but tight.

I rented this in a size 8 and 10. The size 8 was perfect around the bust, too tight around the hips. The size 10, which is what I wore to the wedding, was a perfect fit around the hips, but the chest was too big. I battle the sleeves falling and the top just being too big throughout the wedding and reception. I changed for the after party into my own little black dress, and felt so much more comfortable.

This dress is pretty form fitting. Not great for curvy hips! I would definitely consider sizing up. I am 5'8" and about 135lbs. The 6 was very snug! I am usually a size 4 in most dresses. Very pretty lace, though. The color tone was even nicer in person.

Fit was fine, as it was in the shop when I tried it on.

I didn't wear this dress as it was a back up from RTR and the one I ordered for the wedding (also Reem Acra) was perfection, but this dress was beautiful and I would definitely rent it for another formal event. It's probably not appropriate for a wedding unless you're the bride (the shade of ivory basically exactly matched the color of the brides dress, so I was very happy the other Reem Acra dress worked out - check out this dress in the yellow shade - heavenly). But this dress would be perfect for another formal affair.

This dress was very pretty and did not disappoint! As other reviewers mentioned, it is lower-cut so double-sided tape is a good idea. I'm a 38C and I thought it was borderline appropriate, but it was my party so I wore it anyway! :) Overall it was very pretty, very comfortable (super soft lace) and I received tons of compliments.

Gorgeous dress! It was a little too tight for me in the hips.

I sized up, as per reviews, but really arm movement was still constricted. Other than that, it is lovely. Perhaps someone with narrower shoulders would have more ease in movement..

I am normally a size 8. I ordered both the 8 and 10. My bust size is 36C. Neither of the dresse sizes fit. This dress is not made for a large bust person. I was very disappointed, I could not wear either dress. This was an out of state wedding. I brought an extra dress for backup that I knew would fit. I am afraid to order again for fear of the sizes.
