The gown fits me like a glove and I'm normally size 0, so I recommend it for petite women.

Absolutely love the dress. Gorgeous color, fabric and design. It was quite snug through the waist and very difficult to zip up and hook all hooks by myself but I managed! Took me about 30 minutes to get it on! All in all, the dress was fabulous. This was my first experience with RTR and I will definitely use again. I've been recommending to all my friends.

I rented both a 10L and a 12R in this dress. The 12R was a bit more comfortable, but was looser in the bust and would have required a strapless bra, and was too short to wear with heels, so I went with the 10L. It was just slightly snug in the ribcage but much more flattering than the 12R. The 10L was just a touch too long for my 3.5" heels, so if I wanted to walk quickly I had to hold the dress up. I was so pleased with this dress. I felt glamorous and pretty and received a ton of compliments. My daughter cried when I had to send it back, and I almost did too! She says I have to rent it again for my next event.

RTR sent me this dress after my original dresses arrived damaged. Wonderful customer service. I couldn't be happier!! As soon as I opened the box I was in love with the color! Absolutely stunning. The other reviews are right about the top being small and snug. Took me about 5 minutes to get it zipped up and it was very very tight. If you can get it zipped, it's soo worth it though. The smaller top actually worked great for me since that is how my body is shaped (smaller top, bigger on bottom). I was stopped on my way to the bathroom with compliments from strangers. So sad to send it back!!

Loved this dress. I felt so beautiful. Although, It runs very small! I wore the 8L and I am normally a size 6! The 8L was perfect though. The structure of the dress is great very supportive, but very fitted at the waist. Great for hourglass or pear shapes. I would wear this again in a heartbeat.

Just received this gown. I am 5'8", 130 lbs, and in regular clothes a size 4. My problem with dresses is that I have a 36" ribcage (wear 36B bra). So the 10L barely zips up, but fortunately I was able to. Also ordered the 8L and was not even close to being able to zip it. The bust part is a little roomie but it will work. I guess I need to get some ribs removed.

I wore this to a Memorial Ball, after reading other reviews I ordered a size larger then I normally am (I'm normally an 8 so I ordered a 10L since I'm 5'9) However when the dress came I couldn't get the (side zipper) zipped up past my rib cage (even with help) And another dress I ordered as a backup had a broken zipper! I called RTR's customer service and they were able to over-night me the next size up however, they didn't have the long length in that size. The 12R came around 4pm the day of my event, I expected it to be a little big however it fit perfect, I was a little pressed for time since I had to leave at 4:30 and had to steam the dress still, but it all ended up working out. The dress was very unique and the blue color is very pretty (it looks much more vibrant in person) I had to run out and find VERY short heels since the dress was in a regular length, I would have much preferred a long length! My only other small complaint about the dress is that the small snaps and hook that keep the front part of the dress to the side came undone while dancing a couple times, not a huge deal or anything) Overall this dress was very pretty, it's not something I would have normally picked just looking at the model picture, but seeing it on "real" people is what made me decide to rent it and I'm glad I did (just make sure to SIZE UP....I went up 2 sizes then I normally wear!)

I loved this dress, the side zipper was a little annoying but nothing that couldn't be forgotten after many positive comments were made. A friend of my date's actually said she wanted to come say hi but didn't because her dress paled in comparison :) as others have said, it does run a little tight in the bust but I didn't have to size up like others have mentioned.

The gown was not my first choice and it was one size too big, however it did run a bit small. To make it work I wore a strapless push up bra to add padding. The corset feature of the dress was nice! I did not have time for any alterations and being I have a small waist, the mid section was too big. If the fasteners were a few inches farther back, it would have fit better. A 6L probably would have fit perfectly. The outer zipper also did not work properly but the inner one did. All this said..the gown is GORGEOUS. I received many compliments from both men and women. One very distinguished man told me my gown was "To die for...TO. DIE. FOR." The color is brilliant and the fabric is heavenly. Not having to pack a gown to travel to DC with was also a plus. Rent the Runway agents did everything in their power to rectify a bad situation. The gown I ordered somehow became unavailable 2 days before the ball and they sent 2 other options (Both 6L's and both were too big) so we went with my original 2nd choice. I will use Rent the Runway again!

I got so many compliments, it is very flattering and a great wear. it does run a little small so I would recommend sizing up. Also the zipper stuck a little so my fiancé had to do the zipping, I am 5'5 but wore 4 inch heels so the long was a perfect length!

Beautiful! Expensive looking dress, truly royal color, look and feel. Hard to zip up but once the zipper is up its a wow!

Overall all stunning, well made gown. I wore the 6L which was a little roomy in the bust area (usually a 4L), but felt this was a better fit. Gown runs pretty true to size. Great experience.

I was really looking forward to wearing this dress at a black tie wedding and ordered it even though there were only three sizes available--2, 10, and 12. So no reasonable backup size. I'm normally a 2 but occasionally a 4, so I knew from the other reviews that there was a chance the 2 wouldn't fit...and unfortunately that turned out to be true. There is a complicated arrangement of zippers and snaps to get into this dress, but there was a good 2 inches of skin (and rib cage) between the sides of the zipper, so there was no way it could have zipped. I wonder if even the 4 would have been too small. So heed the warnings, ladies--order a size up and probably another size up for backup! Thankfully RTR was awesome and a stylist shipped me another dress (in 2 sizes this time!) so I'll still have something beautiful to wear at the wedding. Thanks, RTR!

This dress is AMAZING but it is TINY i would go up two sizes because it is so so small. The color and cut are beautiful but make sure to get the second size free and go up a size. I'm a 0/2 and ordered the 2R i didn't get to wear it because the zipper didn't go up at all

This dress was beautiful, soft and flowing on the bottom, and fit and structured on the top. However, I was a good 3 inches away from getting it zipped up around my torso. It runs small. I'm a big 4, but a pretty steady 4 and there was no way this dress would fit. The skirt is much more forgiving than the bodice. It's essentially a wrap skirt, with the gathered bit on the hip hooked on and snaps along the waist line. This dress was regal and stately but seemed to be missing a spark. Lovely dress, but not not very playful.

This was my first dress from Rent the Runway. The color of this dress is absolutely stunning, and the dress itself is well constructed. However, it does run very small. I am usually an 8, and I ordered a 10R and 12R. The 12 would not zip past my ribcage (34D). While I was disappointed, a wonderful Go-To Girl quickly exchanged my dress and sent it overnight. Best customer service I have ever experienced! Nonetheless - this is a gorgeous gown!

I received this as a backup because my original dress was stained. They sent the 4L and 2R since they didn't have a 2L available and the 4L was bigger than I was comfortable with, 2R was too short with my heels. I'm petite for my height so definitely order a size up if you are getting an free backup.

Although it was very tight in the bust area, the dress fit perfectly! I received complimants all night.

Beautiful fabric but dress didn't fit. And it is a bit confusing how to fasten once you get it on.

Recieved lots of compliments - it was a beautiful dress for a black tie wedding. My only cons would be that the corset boning was cutting into my sides and made the fit pretty uncomfortable. If you want to dance a lot at the event you are going to - dont wear this dress...but it is GORGEOUS! Run small in the bust as well.

I would have worn this dress but it runs so small in the uppper body I couldn't zip it up. I normally wear a 6 or 8 but a size 10 would have fit. I am not large busted, this dress runs small.

I'm usually a 4 and ordered a 4 (even after reading the other reviews - I was a fool!). There was no 6 available for my event date, so I took a big risk and lost: the zipper didn't go past my waist. A beautiful but heartbreaking dress.

I ordered this dress as a back up dress, and did not wind up wearing it. However, I thought it would be helpful to write a review because there are not any. This dress was beautiful and I loved everything about it, but it would not stay put. The front of the dress is sort of a drape you pull across and then secure on the side, but it was not very secure and kept falling down all the time. Even when it was only hanging up in the closet the clasp kept coming undone. That is why I did not wear this dress.

The dress runs very small. I usually wear a size 10. After reading the previous reviews, I ordered a size 12. Even a size 12 did not fit. If you order this dress, get a second style as a backup. I did not do that and ended up with no dress for my event.

My original dress became unavailable and they sent this to me because it was similar to my second dress I ordered. These little details are why I love RTR. It was a busy weekend (President Inauguration weekend) so I understand there wasn't many options. This dress looks way better online than it does in person. I usually love Reem Acra designs, however this dress looked like I wrapped myself in a silk curtain for a college toga party....after drinking. I wanted to like it, but I just couldn't bring myself to wear this.

Luckily, I rented this dress well before my event. I couldn't even get into the dress or the backup. None of them fit. I usually wear a 10, but I guess a Reem Accra size 10 if not the same as every other size 10. Oh well...beautiful dress though.
