Attending a holiday dinner. Was looking for a dress that was sitting and eating friendly. The waist has a slight elastic band to give it a bit of flair and definition. The length and back gave it a wow factor before and after the meal. The wool material was perfect for a winter evening affair.

I rented this dress for New Years in Chicago. It was the back up dress because the original one I rented was to small. The dress is amazing , however it runs a little bit on the bigger side . I had to add a belt to it and it turned out great! The material is kind of heavy , perfect for the cold weather and it hides away great imperfections. Loved the dress and I would rent it again!

I loved this dress. I am pretty tall so it is rare when a dress isn't short on me, but it was perfect. I wore it to a New Year's Eve party at a friends house. The fabric is heavy to I wasn't too cold, even when we went out side to watch the fire works this a jacket. The only down side to this is that you need a strapless bra, other than that it was wonderful!

If you're super this it may be a little big in the back, i'm usually 2-4 and I wore the 0 over the 2. Perfect thick fabric, would be great for holiday parties!

I loved this dress! i wore it to my homecoming and it was a smash hit! i bought a bra with sticky things on the sides and i fashioned taped the heck out of that dress so being backless wasnt a problem. loved this dress so much i miss it!

I really liked this dress! However It did not fit around the top. This dress isnt for women with small breasts I had to pull the back together and pin it. Other than that i got so many compliments! I would recommend it.

Perfect dress for a jaw dropping reaction. Such a classy look for the first impression. Once you turn around all eyes are on you. Definitely rent again!! Invest in double sided tape.

I rented this to go to the theatre with my boyfriend. I wanted something classy but still sexy. I was super excited about this dress, but very dissapointed with the fit. It poofed out really bad on the sides, which was not flattering from the front. It essentially made my waist dissapear. The plus side is that the back was super cute and it was very comfortable. The material is thick, so would not be good for summertime, but worked perfect for Chicago winter!

Wore this dress to a formal event during the winter - similarly accessorized as shown - and it was great! Beautiful open back and fit perfectly.

When I opened this dress I was a bit dissapointed because the fabric is sort of felt like. I gave it try though and I am glad I did! Women were complimenting me on it all night! It is a very flattering fit and the back is super sexy. It runs really big though so i would order a size down for sure!

This dress is the perfect weight for a fall event. As it is made of wool, there is no concern with getting chilly throughout the evening/night. I loved this dress, however the straps did not fit as snug as I would have liked. Since it connects at the nape of the neck, there is no concern with them falling down, but there was a bit of sag in the waist area. I am unsure whether the size down would have corrected this problem. All in all, I loved this dress and it was a hit at my event!

Absolutely loved this dress. I ordered a size down and it fit perfectly. Classic font with back appeal--my favorite! I am going to rent it again for another event in a few months.

I got this dress for a Valentines date. I am 5'7 and 144 lbs with 34D top and the size 4 was a little too big. After some safety pin action, the dress looked and fit much better. A 2 would have probably fit better with no problem. It was an adorable dress and I would definitely recommend it.

it's a little gappy on the sides - get a smaller size.

I saw from other reviews that this dress runs large so I ordered a size down for my backup, but even that was too big - it gapped a bit at the sides, so I would definitely recommend sizing down. It still looked good though, and I think it would be really flattering if you get the fit right.

Loved the flattering lines, but the material felt like felt (double entendre intended). This dress would be great for a winter soiree, but lacked Vegas pizazz. Right dress, wrong event.

The dress is great, but the fabric was much thicker than expected. Definitely a winter dress. In addition, I had to pin both straps due the the torso being much longer than expected. I am 5'5, and the dress was definitely better for someone who is 5'7 or above. overall, with a little tailoring though it was a very flattering fit and loved the back.

These dresses were a little worse for wear when I received them and fabric near the neckline had started to curl. But the RTR team was great and sent a backup dress immediately! Thanks RTR!

It keeps you really warm, being that the material is like a structured wool kind of fabric. The cut out part runs fairly deep, so be sure to wear low rise undies. I have a very small frame and I ended up having to pin a few things. After that it (size 2)fit like a glove. The size 0 was too too tight.

This dress was too large in the torso, as though the designer expected me to be taller than I am, although I have a long torso for my height. The pieces of fabric that fasten at the neck don't lay flat. They bow out funny, which made it look like I was larger than I was. So cute in theory! Less so in fact.

I was so excited to wear this dress , But the size zero was big for me , I got so sad I bought I backless bra, but the dres just looked Like belong to someone else :/ I ended up wearing the second back up dress But I was very sad, cuz the dress is adorable

Wanted to love this dress but it didn't fit me so well. It runs a little big and was loose in the chest and at the waste. My measurements are 34", 27", 36". Skirt height is perfect thought - short but not too short. Probably better for a curvier girl.

It may work better for ladies with longer torsos. For me is flopped open on the sides, where it should have been hugging. Since it is backless having the sides flop open meant a major and unworkable side boob situation. The fabric is more like felt. OK but sort of odd, as are the flaps on the front that look to be made of pleather or something. In short, there's a lot going on with dress. It would have been OK but not awesome if it had fit. But it didn't (even tried tape) so I had to send it back.

I rented this dress for my office Christmas party, but didn't end up wearing. In fact, I didn't even try it on. I should have heeded the other reviews that said this dress was made of an odd, heavy, felt-like material. It was, and in addition was pilled. On top of that, there are panels of a 2nd material (leather-ish) near the armholes/chest that are hard to see in the pictures. The ends aren't secured and rather than laying flat they were folded over (potentially could have been remedied with an iron?). I also didn't care for the look of the whip-stitch in white along the bottom hem. That's of course visible in the photos and I thought I could look past it, but that combined with the other issues, I wasn't going anywhere in this dress. There are so many other pretty RTR choices, I'd skip this one.

I ordered this in a zero and a two. I'm a 2-4, dress size, but typically a zero up top. Both sizes arrived and were absolutely huge. The waist was very baggy as was the top. The fabric is a very heavy wool fabric. I do not recommend this dress.

I was renting this dress as a backup and thought because other women on the larger size rented it and said it fit OK, that I'd be OK too. Maybe it was my proportions? Also, the material of this dress feels "cheap". It sort of reminded me of felt.

There was way too much material in the skirt, and the top was really big. The material also looked and felt cheap...reminded me of felt! Looks gorgeous on the model...but definitely not on me.

I ordered this dress as a back up option for my 30th birthday party and did not wear it. I am well proportioned, but petite and this dress just did not fit right. the back was baggy on the shoulders, though it did come with fashion tape that i am sure could have fixed, but it just wasnt flattering on me. Luckily i was able to wear my first choice and didn't need the back up.

First of all, the dress ran very large on top and, with the open back, was virtually impossible to "alter" to fit. Secondly, the fabric was heavy and thick, like a blanket, which was a surprise based upon the description. And it was starting to get "pills" all over it. Really cute style, terrible fabric, and just too big. Luckily I packed a back up dress, just in case!
