Really trendy dress! Comfortable, loose fit but the collar gives it a tailored look. I also wore it with the collar unbuttoned which made it more casual. The uneven hemline makes it really fun as well!

Fun and comfortable. Fits a little large. Could have worn a belt. I love the extreme handkerchief hen but it's also rather short. I would have liked it a tad longer on the short pieces. Love the white French cuff sleeves and the big silver buttons sharpen the look and make it a bit more fancy. Would def wear again!

I love this dress! With that said, this dress is definitely well-worn. Not overly so, but you can tell it's seen some action :) Also, the white sleeves are a bit discolored. Still, the fit and style are incredible. I love the cut and the movement. I am receiving lots of compliments I feel really confident and beautiful in this dress. Great for everyday glamor

I rented this dress for my mum's birthday and it was a great choice! The skirt section makes a strong statement, the collar and the sleeves are great too. The dress is 100% cotton, but because of the pattern, it appears warmer. I had to add a a double side fabric tape at the bottom because the last button is very high and it didn't make me feel comfortable. The buttons on the sleeves add a touch of metallic to the outfit. I will definitely rent it again.

I have long arms and these sleeves were long enough! I wore it with tights due to the weather - if I hadn't, the shortest sections of the dress might have felt too short for me. (I'm 5'8"). Really fun way to have fun with a shirtdress.

Loved this dress, fabric seemed a little faded but didn't bother me. I wore a belt for a more fitted look. Received many compliments at work, including someone asking me if it was Ralph Lauren. Would order again

I wore this to a casual work meeting and loved if! Beyond comfortable while looking put together and on trend. Paired with sock boots and opague tights. Highly reccommend as I'm only 5'5" and it didnt swallow me.

I love this dress. It's so comfortable and "seasonal". My husband said I looked like a present It fit like a glove, no gapping between the buttons. The asymetrical element is super fun and upped the wow factor. I tied a belt to give it a more defined waist.

Taking off a star because the one I received was a little worn. Also, the dress arrived SO wrinkled like in a complete wad. It took a good 45 minutes of ironing and still wasn't perfect. Otherwise, very fun and cute.

It's fun!

This is one of those dresses I would normally NEVER purchase but a rental felt worth the risk. The hemline is quirky and weird, the material is really soft and cozy. Most of all, my inner middle schooler felt like I could've worn this if I was in "The Craft" which...who doesn't want that?

Though the waist was far from fitted I think this dress was ultimately a winner because of its unique personality. The fabric isn't too heavy, but wrinkles easily (be grateful for the free dry cleaning) so I could never own the dress myself. And that makes it the best kind of rental! This dress is good for hiding stomach pooch if that's an issue and fits on the larger side. The length was perfect on me at 5'4" in my high heeled boots but I'd caution those who are shorter against this one, especially because we smaller girls can drown in fabric. Definitely a risk in this dress. The hemline was the best part of the dress and is super eye catching. If you have an unlimited membership I'd say give it a whirl but otherwise pass.

Loved the mix of hemlines and plaid on white of this unique dress. Wore to a birthday dinner party and business cocktail event and it was a fit for both. Beware the high slit on one side and pretty short front hem. Though the folds of fabric kept things covered, i used some fabric tape to keep it closed just in case. Comfortable fit and fabric!

The sleeves were just the perfect length for my very long arms. The waist on the dress cut a little higher than my actual waist but the style made it looks great. LOVED the high button. No necklace needed. Would have probably done black shoes next time because the matching white shoes + white sleeves made me feel a bit like a fancy show poodle.

Don't get me wrong I loved this dress but it was hard to style. It does run a little small. Without the jacket it looked a little like a costume. But with the jacket it was head turning.

One of the few dresses I've encountered that I wasn't sure I had the balls to wear. Glad I took the risk but disappointed it ran so big. I'm usually a 4/6 and had to belt the SR to get any shape. The XSR would probably have been a better choice but such a cool dress otherwise!

Very cute look, a lot of dress so best if you dont mind making a dramatic statement. For an xs, could be more fitted in the waist/bust/chest - in particular right under the arm was quite loose and would have been more flattering on me if it was a closer fit. That said, because of the defined waist it does look very nice with a wide belt and that helps keep the look neater. The sleeve cuffs are absolutely gorgeous - crisp, origami-like, and they are tight enough to keep them out of the way.

The Sutton Tartan Maxi Dress is perfect for cold weather, so I wore it to work. I think this fits just a little big, but mostly because it supposed to be a little loose fitting. (4 stars just because it was a bit big) The long sleeves were fantastic for the weather but mostly because the cuffs were amazing. The asymmetrical cut on the sleeves somewhat mimicked the cut of the hem, which is short on the left and long on the right. Most of the Petersyn clothing I've seen features plaid patterns and lots of ruffles. Fit well and was flattering but it was super short in some places. I'm 5'8" and it definitely fell shorter on me than on the model. Also, the buttons don't go all the way down, so I found myself showing a bit of thigh in certain postures. In the photos, I'd liked the cuffs but in person they overpower the rest of it a bit; I rolled them up to calm the overall vibe. Cute overall but don't think I'd rent it again.

I rented this for work/everyday and the sleeves/chest/shoulder area was more loose and boxy than I expected. The asymmetrical flags at the hem didn't make up for that, especially given the length of the longer part of it, and it seemed too old for me.

I wasn't sure about this when it arrived (didn't have that higher quality look that most RTR items have), however, I received endless compliments both times I wore this. It's on the large side of TTS. I tend to be a 4, sometimes a 6 (5'7" with fairly broad shoulders) and the small was just right. I had to wear leggings instead of tights because it was simply too short on me for a work environment.

I wore this with a thin black belt and black ankle boots. Absolutely in love with the hemline! It would have looked better if I was a bit taller because one part of the dress is pretty long. The cuffs looked better folded over on me but the dress was comfortable to wear for hours.

Perfect fit and cut! I loved this dress because it was extremely comfortable to wear and also stylish. I wore it on a work trip to NYC. I received a lot of compliments. What I love about it the most is I can wear it for work and still look fashionable for dinner.

Fits wonderfully, very unique. However, the dress I got was a little worn, it might be time to retire this particular garment, or sell it to me on the low!!!

This dress is amazing, and I'm considering purchasing it. My coworker described me as a "goth Laura Ingalls Wilder," which is probably the best compliment one can receive. Note that the buttons down the front don't go down QUITE as far as you'd want for a work dress, so it's helpful to wear black tights of leggings underneath.

I wish I would have taken a photo in this dress to do it justice but alas, I did not. I wasn't sure what to expect with this dress as it's not something I would have probably picked off a rack however, it was so fun! I wore this dress to work with some black tights, black heels and a skinny black belt. I felt so comfortable all day yet so hip! The sleeves are so unexpected and the hem is unique and turns heads. This is a very eye catching dress so I wouldn't wear it as much as I would say a standard black dress and thus cannot justify the price to buy it but I loved wearing it! Def give it a try. For reference, I am 5'5", about 120 lbs, and a 32C (athletic figure with a small waist in relation to the rest of my body). I wore the XS and it was perfect.

This was so cool. I wore it to work with purple tights and blue velevt shoes...forfot to snap a pic. Everyone loved it! I am busty so i needed a couple safety pins to keep it together and the waist was higher like empire on me. The uneven hem is everything! Rent this!!

My office is full of designers and they could not stop raving. I paired it with a black leather wrap belt, black tights and high black boots. Pop up that collar and wham - an outfit that cannot be stopped.
