The fit was very flattering. However, strapless dresses always present a problem for me. My spanx slip kept showing because I forgot to bring my double sided tape to the hotel with me. I was pulling the dress up all evening. The dress was stunning. Kind of heavy, but GREAT for a New Years Eve party.

Amazing! The picture does not do it justice. Built in corset really emphasizes your curves and good for girls with a bigger bust. I have wide hips too and it was beyond flattering. Wore this for my birthday and definitely caught a lot of attention. Just a side not, the dress was almost pure sequin and was a tad on the heavier side, but totally worth it!

i wore the dress for the my 25th birthday. The dress is beautiful, a bit heavy (the material) and being that i am small chested there was a little extra room in the chest area. I didn't have too many issues with having to pull it up throughout the night or anything like that. i recieved compliments from not only friends but a few strangers throughout the night. I definitely recommend this dress if you want to make an impression, it's impossible not to in this dress. I can totally see this as being an amazing new years eve dress!

This dress was perfect for the occasion -- a masqued ball -- it stood out but in a good way. I think the fit was flattering, there is a tiny bit of stretch, but honestly the material is so thick with the lining, boning (I think) and sequins, that you really don't need shapewear with this one - definitely need a strapless bra though. I am small busted, so if I hadn't worn a padded strapless bra, it might have slipped a bit. The fit was actually perfect. I think the length was good, and I am very happy with it!

This dress was really beautiful in person - my boyfriend loved it and I got compliments all night from other party-goers! Only frustrating thing was that the top kept sliding down, so I had to watch for wardrobe malfunctions when dancing. I'm a B cup, so I kind of expected that... overall, the dress was great! It photographed beautifully and I definitely felt like I fit in with the posh Vegas crowd we were around. Also, while the dress is gorgeous, I was still able to pull off my edgy style by adding chunky grey/black accessories and wearing my mohawk :-)

LOVED this dress for NYE!!! As other reviewers noted, the top of this dress does run a bit large. The 4 fit perfect on top but the 6 fit better on bottom. I ended up wearing the 6 and used the "Hollywood Tape" which was included with my dress to keep it in place. The sequins on this dress sparkle like no other dress I have ever seen- Much prettier than the picture shown on the site! TONS of compliments!!! <3 RTR!!!!

I am usually a size 2, but couldn't fit into it. The 4 fit, but was VERY low cut. My chest was practically falling out! Sent it back and got a red David Meister cocktail dress that was much more flattering and classier.

size up if you're curvier!! i also recommend spanx to help the dress look flawless! hot hot dress! great for new years!

This dress is stunning. The mirrored laser sequins create an iridescence unlike any other sequined dress I have worn. It fits to a T. I received numerous compliments at a very fancy Manhattan black tie event and was even stopped on the street by a complete stranger to admire the dress. I have rented it three times. Note, though, that it is nearly impossible to zip by oneself, so make sure you have someone to do the zipping for you.

definitely flattering on a curvy body type...I wore it to my wedding after party and got tons of compliments. Slid down a little bit, I wish I had gotten the size down to try instead of the size up!

This dress was amazing! I said it runs true to size, but it was slightly too big. I normally wear between a 4 and a 6, but I went with a 6 just because I am more busty, but it ended up being a little big in the top. I still made it work though just because this dress was so incredible! Also, I am really short so it was a little longer on me, hitting about an inch or two above the knee. I got more compliments on it than any dress I've ever worn and so many people asked me if they could borrow it! Definitely worth it and it will make you stand out and look gorgeous!

This dress is breathtakingly beautiful. I got the size 2 and it fits me perfectly. I am 5'1, 102 lbs C cup bra. This is truly a knockout dress. The cut is good and the fabric does not look cheap. It hugs all your curves and gives you good cleavage.

This is a fantastic dress and true to it's title. If you wear it you will be a "knockout". I rented it for new years and it was a hit!

Although this dress is beautiful, I didn't end up wearing it. It had kindly been sent as a backup because I ordered the raspberry colored one and they didnt have an extra size to send. I stuck with the raspberry for fit and because although this dress looks completely silver in the picture, the silver sequins have a multi-colored effect which didn't appeal to me as much. The high quality in the construction of this dress is clear in the fit and the fabric. Great for NYE or winter black tie event!

I loved this dress and I wore it to a Christmas party. It was flattering and fun. (went great with my pink santa hat) My only complaint is that is is not very comfortable due to the corsetting however this is to be expected. The sparkles are more brilliant than any I have ever seen on a garment before.

After the reviews my expectations were so high but this dress just didn't do it for me. Maybe it is because I was wearing it in the summer and it is TOTALLY a NYE winter party dress. The sequins are almost a charcoal grey. I think this dress is better for a straight and narrow body or apple/full bust. I wear a C cup and my measurements are 33-25-36 and the 2 was baggy in the middle and my boobs were squished flat and up (which I understand is the corset style.) The sequins were scratchy under the arms too if you have sensitive skin. It is a GORGEOUS dress but just wasn't for me, ended up wearing something that I already had.

This dress is stunning, especially in photos. It catches the light really well, and was flattering on my body. The only problem is that it is really long, even though I ordered a size 0. It fell right above my knees.

I wear a size 4 on bottom, and a 4/6 or s/m on top, depending on the fit, brand, etc. I received this dress as a replacement dress in a size 6 and it was super tight. An 8 would have been better. However, because I liked this dress, I made it work. I received tons of compliments, the fit and color are great, and it is a mini. I would recommend it.

I rented this dress for my 29th bday celebration, since I wanted something glittery and really "over the top." This dress certainly fit the bill! It is GORGEOUS in person - the sequins are not really silver, more a mermaid-like rainbow type color (so it looks a bit more blue-ish than silver). From the waist down it fit well - not too long, which is always a concern for me at 5'1" - and appropriately hugged curves. From the waist up, though, it was HUGE in the bust, which is why I only gave it 3 stars, and couldn't actually wear it out for my birthday. I am a 32A, so small around and small-chested, and even with a padded strapless bra and a lot of double-sided tape, there was just no way on earth this dress was going to stay up on me. I would have had a major wardrobe malfunction just by lifting my arms :( Sad that I couldn't wear it, but it would look so beautiful on someone with a bigger chest/wider ribcage.

Beautiful dress but I wasn't able to wear it because it was too big. For the third time since I started using RTR, I was called a couple of days before I was supposed to receive my rental and they didn't have one of the dresses I had ordered so they let me choose anything from the site. I picked this and was advised that it runs small so I got a larger size...it doesnt run small in my opinion. The dress is gorgeous but it has a corset top so if it's too big it sticks out like a shelf not molding to your body.
