the dress does fit snug around the waist. Spanx was an after though that i should have went with. The top does run a bit small so i would not recommend for C and up in your normal size. The little chain detail gives it a edgy and dangerous look. definitely a dress to have fun with.

I ordered a 4 and a 6. The 4 probably would have fit better overall, but I couldn't zip it over my rib cage. An inch more in the area right below the chest would have been amazing. The 6 was OK, the chest area was way too big (I'm small chested) and I had to stuff, tape & pin to make it look right. And then the bottom of the cage kind of puckered out and it made me look like I had a gut. I'm guessing I was just not tall enough because if I stood up really straight, the cage flattened out enough to not be embarrassing. In the end, everyone said I looked great, but I was not completely comfortable. The dress is super cute though, I love the chain and the material. I think if you are shaped like Barbie (tall, big boobs, tiny waist) then this would have fit perfectly! By the way, in the pics you can see my little sis sporting another Rent the Runway look! I tagged the dress in my review. She looked great :)

Loved it! I am 5'2 125 lbs and I normally wear a size 4, but luckily I sized up for my second pick. I fit in the size 6 perfectly. Got tons of compliments!

I wore this dress to our one year anniversary and danced ALL night! I am usually 0/2 and my hips bumped me up to a 4. Order a size up if you're hippy!

Amazing dress. Incredibly gorgeous but without being ostentatious. I got loads of compliments! Would recommend for a cocktail party or just dinner out. Fits true to size if a tiny bit tight.

This is my favorite dress I have rented so far. The corset style bodice holds everything is place well, and it is still comfortable. The color and details are gorgeous.

Cute dress, but it didn't work for me. I'm usually a 6, but ordered an 8 in light of the other reviews. I did need an 8 in the hips, but then the top was way too big. Not a good pick for petite proportions.

The hips were so tight it barely went on and there were 4+ inches spare in the chest. I generally consider myself pretty hourglassy so this was a surprise

This dress is STUNNING! Way better on than in the picture. I was devastated it didnt fit!. The other Peter Soronen I rented a 6 fit perfect. This fit my hips and then wouldnt zip up. ARGH! The material, color, and detail was so rock star, I was utterly disappointed. :(
