This dress can be tough to zip into, but it's perfect for hourglass figures. It made me feel like Jessica Rabbit. For those who have larger busts like me (32F), you will show cleavage in this dress, but it'll actually hold you in and up just fine! It's a toughie to accessorize because of the odd colors (way darker and more muted than it looks in the RTR picture), but I went with black tights and pumps to cut down on the sexy factor a little, along with clear crystal earrings from RTR. If you are curvy, rent this dress, you won't regret it!

This dress was amazing I received countless compliments. I did order this dress in the size 4 and 2 as a back up. but the size 4 was very large. and I'm a true 4. however the 2 was a little snug than I normally wear but I got it on and wore it proudly and fabously. I did have to wear a spank type garmet because I didnt want any bulging as would be eating and drinking for NYE. Great Dress great quality.

I'm generally between a 6-8, but ordered the 8 & 10 due to a previous RTR dress that ran insanely small. The 6 would have been perfect; the 8 was a bit roomy and I had to pin it to my bra to keep from having to constantly adjust it. If you're between sizes, err on the smaller size. That said, it was fantastic once I pinned it and was extremely comfortable all night. I'm very tall, so the dress hit perfectly at mid-thigh but I suspect it's normally just above knee length on average/shorter girls. You pretty much have to go with black heels.. anything else clashes with the gold metallic detail and just looks like too much. The dress itself is gorgeous; the thick wool-esque fabric is very flattering (not itchy at all!) and the metallic detailing is classy and eye-catching. Everyone always goes with either black or sequins on NYE so I enjoyed standing out in such a unique dress. I got a ton of compliments all night and felt fantastic.

I wore this dress to a NYE party in Chicago. It was beautiful and fit very well, and was very well made. It was slightly snug on my chest, but I'm a 32D, so that wasn't surprising, and the size 4 was a bit too big. I got many, many compliments on this dress all night, and felt beautiful! It's hard to tell from the photo if the dress is gold/black or gold/dark brown. I wore it with black tights and black heels, and black and gold jewelry.

The dress fit like a glove, I received compliments all night long. The material is thick (wool?) and the gold not nearly as shiny as in the model pics. My only problem was that the hangar straps kept poking out, I probably should have taped them down or something. I couldn't wear my strapless bra because of the low cut of the dress, but the structure of the dress kept me held in pretty well. I would definitely rent this dress again!

The dress fit me, but was not flattering, too much of a sack. On my busty and curvy friend however, it made her body look rocking! Definitely for curvier bodies who can fill it out. Also, the gold is very subdued, not at all as shiny metallic as it looks on the model.

not for the buxom girl! my boobs were smashed in it. you really need to go up 2 sizes! too bad i didn't, or i would have worn the dress i love the line around the top. not straight. if you order, know it runs small, and the material goesny give. also the finish is much more muted in person, which i think is a classier look.

I was not able to wear the dress as it was too small. The dress itself was pretty but I think the picture makes it much different, specifically the pattern in front looks much brighter in the picture and the gold was less shiny in person

The dress was gorgeous. The fabric was a little heavier than expected. I wanted to love the dress but I could barely fit into the 2 and the 4 was about to fall off my body.

This dress came as a backup selection because the dress I had originally chosen was damaged. I did not end up wearing this dress because it ran small and did not fit. It was pretty on the hanger and I'm sure for the right girl this dress would be a stunner.

I received my order this evening and the dresses I ordered were too big. I ordered size 2 (doesn't come in 0) and 4 because another reviewer had said the dress ran small. I would say this dress runs slightly large in the waist/ribcage (the boning doesn't provide any support) area and really large in the bust area. I am 32B and even with a padded bra, the 2 wouldn't stay up. I called RTR hoping to get another dress delivered tomorrow, only to be disappointed completely. Not only did I wait on hold for 35 minutes, then I was told that, unfortunately, since I had been on hold for so long that I had just missed the last UPS pickup by 5 minutes- if I hadn't been on hold for an atrociously long amount of time, I would have had a dress to wear to my friend's wedding. I've used RTR many times before and have been happy, but the service is getting noticeably worse! The dress is really heavy material and not as bright as the picture shows, but the dress itself is lovely-the sizing is a bit off.

Ordered the 6 and the 8. The 6 fit but was too snug on my hips. The 8 fit but was a little too big all around and made me look oddly shaped

The fabric wasn't exactly as shiny as it seems in the pictures here, and the bit of the dress around my rib cage fit really well ( like a glove actually) but I also have a really narrow torso. However, it was SO tight around my hips and butt I couldn't wear it. It's not as formal as this dress seems to be as the fabric is sort of bronze-y and tweedy, and less shiny. Beautiful dress though!

Did not have the gold pop like in the picture and the zipper was really hard to pull up.
