Disclaimer: this was one of the first dresses I hearted, so I really wanted to wear this despite the previous bad review and possible shortcomings. Yes the dress is short (ok when walking/standing, quite short when sitting) and the hips run small. I had to size up to fit, and used tape to keep the top in place. I also tucked in the straps as I preferred it without (Hollywood fashion tape is awesome!). But I really love the corsetry of the dress, it looks great on despite my slight fit issues, and who doesn't love sequins for NYE? Overall this was a very pretty and fun party dress, the big bow bracelet added a nice bling as well. Very happy with this look.

The dress runs really small. As per other reviews, I ordered a size larger than I normally wear, and it just fit. Any larger, and the straps would have been too big, so the ten was my only option! That said, the dress is body-con; you can see the outline of your entire body. I am an apple shape, and get insecure about my stomach, but the dress is paneled, so that holds you in; I didn't bother with Spanx. I found the dress straps loose, and they are not adjustable, so I tucked them in and made the dress strapless(that is why I have a close-up picture). No one could tell, and I thought it enhanced the dress; the straps aren't sequin-y, so they look plain in comparison to the dress, and detract from it. The sequins look gorgeous, and I didn't find the dress itchy at all, even though other reviewers did. Finally, the dress is short; I am 5'3'', and it hit my mid-thigh. I loved the shortness, but others may not. Overall, it was another gorgeous dress that I didn't want to give back the next day!

This was a fun and sexy dress for my last big night toasting singlehood, but be warned that it is not forgiving. The fabric has absolutely no stretch, and I ended up wearing multiple layers of shapewear to make it work with my curvy hips and thighs. My small waist probably saved me with this dress. Leggy girls should also take note that it was even short on me. If you want a hot, girly dress, give this a chance -- just wear it on a night you're feeling confident!

Definitely runs small, luckily I ordered the 6. Also, the straps were a little long. The dress is very pretty and sparkly! I really loved it.

A little more tight fitting up top, but worked out and didn't have to wear a bra! LOVED IT! it was the perfect length and didn't show too much cleavage.

Dress is way too small and i sadly i had to return it. I usually wear size 0 but this dress size 2 doesnt fit. Please issue a credit.

I rented this dress for my birthday party but was really disappointed when it arrived. It was so short (I usually love my dresses short- this was not flattering) and the thick material covered in sequins made my bottom half look huge. I am usually a size 2 or 4 and this added some pounds in the legs, belly, hips and butt. Its a beautiful fun dress but it did NOT work for me.

According to the measurements listed on RTR I thought I would have to temporarily hem this dress, but actually it was WAY to short.. to the point where I couldn't possibly wear it. I don't recommend this for anyone over 5'3"
