This dress was very worn but still held up well. At 4'9 its hard to wear a dress that falls below the knee but it seemed to work!

I am beyond excited to own this dress thanks to the online sample sale. This is my first time wearing the Proenza Schouler brand and I am now a fan. The cut is flattering, forgiving, feminine, and flirty. It's a light to medium weight silk fabric that can be worn comfortably in the Florida heat and humidity. A zero may have fit perfectly, but was not available, but the 2 is not too large. This is a nice variation on the LBD. The picture doesn't do the dress justice.

Beautiful dress, very flattering and comfortable fit. I love that this dress alone without a lot of extra accessories was enough to look chic. The material is lovely (no wrinkling, no ironing needed) and the pattern is not too busy. I especially liked the peplum layer, perfect for hiding food babies -- no need for spanx! The 0 fit perfectly. I tried on the size 2 as well, which was noticeably too loose for me in the bust. I wore silicone nipple covers and likely could have gone without a bra entirely. Would recommend!

This dress looked great, flowed nicely and was perfect for a work conference. The ruffle hem made it ultra feminine and the crisscross neckline was sassy, but the length was 100% work appropriate - which is a hard combo to find on RTR. Loved it!

Wore this to an outdoor wedding. I'm narrow-shouldered and loved the cut-in, halter-style neckline. The ruffles did a decent job of disguising my tummy. Although there was a little gapping under my arms, it was not really a problem. As others have mentioned, the twirl factor adds to the dance-floor appeal.

Gorgeous fit - perfect if you're smaller on top and a little bigger on the bottom. This was so, so flattering and comfortable. No spanx needed!

This is a perfect fit and falls nicely. Very classy. Long enough and not tight but still shows off your curves. Did not have to wear a bra. It looked perfect. My friend that works at Dior knew exactly who I was wearing and couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the designer dresses from RTR look on me. This is a must rent!

Gorgeous spin on the lbd. I liked the longer length to wear high heels. I styled with red Givenchy Antigona clutch & my white Loubs.

I love the pattern and the fit of this dress. The neckline fits comfortably as does the shape within the waist area.

The perfect dress for a summer dinner! The black and white pattern adds a modern twist on the little black dress. I would recommend sizing up if you have a larger bust as this dress if fairly fitted in the bust. At 5'4 this dress hits right above the knee. You would need to wear a strapless or nu bra because of the the Pair this look with your favorite black heels for a night out on the town!

Dress has nice silhouette. Would be prettier if a teeny bit shorter. Fits great though waist and hips but ran very tight on me for top part. But the top part less conservative on sides so nice. If you are not small through chest upsize.

Looks a bit average on the hangar, but it's great on! Nice light material but not so light that it felt see-through. The dress I had was in decent condition but you could tell it had been worn several times or that the dry cleaning was taking it's toll. Regardless- just a great fitting dress! Fit was true to size.

This dress was a backup because the dress I ordered was unavailable. I am so happy I got it, though! It's beautiful, well-made, and comfortable. The only issue is there was a gap in the chest area on one side but not on the other... I decided not to wear a bra and there was a little side cleavage which I didn't love.

I wore this dress to a fundraising dinner and loved it. The quality is visible, and the cut shows off your collarbones (and what woman doesn't like her collarbones?). The 0 was a perfect fit. I was unable to wear a bra, but the fabric was thick enough that I could get away with it. Will rent again.

I LOVE this dress. I wore it on date night with my husband and he loved it too. The fit is beautiful, slimming, and flattering. The style of the dress is "dressy casual" and did not feel overly fussy--highly recommend for a fun date night dress.

This was the perfect vacation dress for a semi formal tropical night. Fun and a little flouncy. Super comfortable and easy to dance in. I wore it with no bra at all because I was a little sunburned and the dress held me in perfectly. Really pretty from the back. I received a lot of compliments. More interesting than a typical black dress.

Fit true to size and a very flattering cut. Just didn't love the length. I'm 5'5" and it hit right on the knee which looked a bit blah. Would be great on someone taller.

runs large for my petite frame

I am an 8 on top, 34DD and a 5-6 on the bottom. So I ordered a 10 but an 8 would have been a better choice. I wore it with a strapless bra and it had too much fabric on the sides. I used a clip to clip the sides so that I could still wear the dress. I was determined to wear it and could not find any safety pins! So the photo look strange as I took a photo of the chest/near under arm area...to show the extra fabric that I had to fold over and pin down.

Unfortunately the dress gapped quite a bit on top. Also, it was too long on a petite frame.
