This dress could accurately be described as either a light sweater or heavy knit - whatever you call it, the dress is a pleasure to wear and a compliment magnet. I’ve included a close-up of the fabric so you can see the wild detail and texture. The weight of the dress is ideal for transitional seasons and works in winter too. The fit is true to size but the cut is generous so I added a belt for more structure. Depending on accessories this dress can go from the office to cocktails and even win you best dressed at a youth hockey game. It’s the sort of item that could be a wardrobe staple. I received loads of compliments. The colors will work with any complexion. The style will flatter most heights and body types - since it’s a knit, it could cling to a belly if you’re not wearing a foundation (the dress is unlined).

This is a terrible photo of this dress, but it's a winner! I kept it fall through spring and wore it so many times. It's so classy. The texture of the knit adds so much interest and the drape of the dress is beautiful. I'd absolutely buy it if ur weren't so pricey, but will be keeping an eye on the price to come down. Probably not a great dress for shorter women, but it's a real winner for us tall folks.

loved slipping this one one whenever i had something dressier to attend, but was also easily styled down by wearing with sandals and a jean jacket. versatile and high quality. I love this designer and will rent almost by Proenza. Definitely could use a belt to snatch the waist more, but I didn't.

The dress is made of heavy fabric which was good for the office. Paired with a wide black belt and heels, and received a lot of compliments.

This dress was very comfortable and flattering. I did wear shapewear underneath to help smooth everything out. Loved this dress and it was a great color scheme for Halloween while keeping things professional.

Fit is very forgiving!

Though I’m short, and it fit ankle length, the overall effect is stunning.

I wore it with a thick belt and a black denim jacket, but this can easily be worn as a 1920's day dress as well. Striking color and go up in size if you don't want it tight across your stomach.

Gorgeous light sweater fabric that moves and swishes like a dream. However, the waist was weird, or there wasn't one. I had to use a belt and even that didn't really have a place to lay correctly. Maybe go down a size?
