The fit can be customized by the wearer by adjusting the toggles that shape the ruching. Originally I was unhappy with how the midsection seemed to put a fabric spotlight on every bump and flaw - then I realized I could adjust the ruching by adjusting the drawstring toggles. Voila, I went from frumpy to fabulous. There is also a subtle keyhole accent at the bust - this isn't immediately obvious but it's there. I received compliments galore and will rent again.

This is a beautiful printed silk with an asymmetrical skirt and rouching just at the upper thigh. This cut means you get an ultra-sleek fit through the midsection-so slimming (!) and also the room to move for dancing and comfortable to sit in. What a fabulous frock to celebrate my 8 year anniversary! Defiantly go a size up if you're at all concerned on fit through the midsection!

I am normally a size 2 in dresses. I had to size up to an 8 to get a perfect fit.

I absolutely loved this dress! Wore it to a 50th Birthday Party by the pool so dressed it down with a denim vest, but could have taken that off and worn it to a wedding or similar occasion. Fit well and was super comfortable material, slightly stretchy and easy to sit/bend, and still hug my body. I usually am a 14 and got the 16 based on the suggestion, could have gone down to a 14 but I prefer it to a bit big than small. Loved it!

There was really no way to make this work, it was huge in the bust and shoulders

LOVED wearing this dress! As a petite it's very hard to know if a midi will actually works on me. True it was at my ankles but the handkerchief cut jazzed it up. I am between a 2 and 4 so in EU sizes: 6 and 8. I got the 8 at RTR's recommendation and it fit perfectly. The ruching cinched my waist in a wonderful way and my ample bust was on display but also quite supported. Love love love. Would rent again.

I accidentally ordered the wrong size, or rather the size bigger than I normally wear in this brand but was not disappointed with the fit! The UK 12 definitely was a little loose all over but the incredible structure of the dress did not look bad on me at all, it was just big enough to be loose and comfortable but still skimmed and showed my figure ! I also think the looser fit allowed it to look a little more casual.

This was a great dress that I received as part of my unlimited membership. It is well suited for a more formal night out- I wore it to dinner and the opera. I typically wear a size 2, and the 8R fit very well, if maybe a bit too much cleavage. (Note that the dress is British sizing, so it's not that it "runs small" -you just need to convert your American size to British to find the appropriate fit.) Received many compliments, and would definitely rent again.

I am glad I got a size 8 because it fit perfect. The material is very comfortable and silky.

Lovely dress but I had issues with wearing it with a bra; it was low cut and fitted oddly enough that it took some adjustments.

Liked this one but didn't love it flattering on an hour glass figure but very long I'm 5'8' and wore a size 8 and it almost touched the ground I can't imagine this working for a petite person. Beautiful navy print with lots of colorful flowers I did get many compliments on the dress one thing I didn't like about it it has a strange kind of roughing that has metal pulls to make it tighter I feel it detracted from the line of the dress and looked a little odd.

I rented the 12, and couldn't go bigger but this fit but small. There is no give, and i left the rusched open. I am 5'4" and the length worked with 2 inch heels. It was perfect for a garden wedding, and the slight breeze gave that extra flow to the dress. I think this dress would work best on a small hipped, long waisted body. I'm glad I wore it, but probably not again.

Loved this dress. Very flattering. Runs very smal so get a size or 2 up.

The ruching helps make it stretchy where you need it for a flexible fit. The fabric is hefty and feels luxe. Works well dressed down or dressed up. Wish I could afford to buy it!

The dress fit a little tight in the waist area, but still Was able to wear. Couldn't have sized up because it wouldn't fit everywhere else.

This designer runs small. I usually wear a 12 regular...the 16 regular in this was too small! It's a shame they don't have an 18R or 20R because the dress would be super flattering.

I paired this with a blue layering top and blue Coclico sandals. It was a knock out yet still appropriate for work. Comfortable and forgiving at the waist.

True to size to slightly snug. Bust didn’t lay flat when sitting but had teal wrap for that!
