The dress fit wonderfully! I can see how some might find this an "odd fit"- it's shoulders are slightly wider and has a VERY defining fit at the waist... but if you're small chested, broader shoulders, and a small waist, this dress is perfect. Plus the material is elegant and sturdy. Truly a classic dress! So classic that I actually bought it. I have worn it to multiple events and different occasions. It's a staple dress and I couldn't be happier with it!

I was excited to try this blue silk faille piece on. I was in love with the silk and the dress felt comfortable. I'm usually a size 4 and wore a size small, running true to size I recommend sizing up for a backup size. With no stretch in the fabric and a tighter fit in the bust this piece is better for smaller cup sizes. Something I love about this piece is the beautiful v-neckline and the cutout back, adds just that much more elegance to this navy beauty. The a full skirt it gives comfortable room for hips. I recommend wearing a strapless bra with this piece. At 5'6, it hits me at knee length just perfect for a formal affair.

The dress is a great navy blue and the detail at the neck is great. It photographs nicely. Unfortunately, the dress isn't comfortable and the size is a little strange. The M, which I ended up wearing, was small in the waist and too big in the shoulders. The shoulders kept sliding through the party and I was very uncomfortable. Also, if you have a higher and larger butt, like me, the profile of the dress won't be flattering. Bottomline: pretty dress on the hanger, not as great on me

This dress runs big and the wide v neck kept slipping off my shoulders. Because it was s little loose, it looked dowdy/matronly on me.

I was at a more conservative wedding. This was a classy frock. I'm 5'4, 120 lbs, and it wasn't too short on me. Very flattering in the waist. Would recommend!!

How I would have loved to wear this dress.. Unfortunately I could not fit my arms... Hopefully I'll get a chance to wear it soon with a bit more work in the gym.. All in all great thick material, has no stretch, flattering shape. Will definitely rent it again.

This is a stunning dress if you are in a recieving line like the queen and never have to pick anything up or be able to move your shoulders or lift your arms freely. I would wear it more if it didn't have these practical problems. As a result I tend to wear it to church, funerals, standing cocktail parties and other things where you don't need to move your arms a lot particularly up (like literally eating dinner in this would be a pain in the a**). But it's stunning and I get lots of complements. the fabric is great. I don't have heavy arms but I don't have noodle arms either because I exercise and if you have super thing shoulders you might not experience the problems I have with it.

This was a very elegant dress, high quality material and make... a few people said I looked like Princess Kate in it! Comfortable...just need a low back bra so it doesn't show.

The body of the dress fits fine but the arms are tight. If I would of gone up a size the arms would of fit but the body would of been too big. The dress is beautiful and looks great on. The cut it's dropped of the shoulders and a v in the from t and back. You'd have to wear a strapless bra. Length was pretty

I am 5'6" and the m and L dresses both went below my knees I have very broad shoulders and yet the shoulders wouldn't stay on and kept falling down. I have an athletic built so when the M wouldn't zip over my ribs, I assumed that the L would, but the L was so long and wonky that I couldn't wear the dress out. I'm not sure who this dress will properly fit, but I hope that it fits someone because it really is a cute dress. Would recommend as a backup dress.

I ordered this dress to wear for a bridal shower, but when I got it I found that the dress swallowed me up and the material was very stiff. I ended up not wearing it because I didn't like how it looked on me, but I was willing to take that chance because this was a new dress on RTR with no reviews. Its okay! You take chances sometimes and they don't work out! I think this dress was also meant for someone with a bigger chest because I felt like the top didn't fit me well either.
