I was weary of renting this because of the previous comment, but I actually found it to be great! However it does not come with a belt like it seems from the picture. The fabric was thinner than I thought it would be... like a typical thin flannel shirt. I have bigger boobs so it pulled at the buttons around the chest a bit. But all in all it's super versatile and can be worn multiple different ways. My BF was obsessed with this look and said it was one of the best he's ever seen haha. I would've bought if it weren't so dang expensive.

A great dress for lunch with friends. Wore with boots but I can see wearing as a duster open over jeans and a white shirt. Will rent again.

This dress screams FALL. It is very long, and I am 5'8". Great excuse to wear my ostrich cowboy boots.

Wore to work with a turtleneck dress under for warmth. Loved the plaid. Has pockets!! Wish it had a belt and had more room in the hips but overall it's a nice dress

Lots of reviewers mentioned it ran large and was a thicker fabric - in my experience it runs true to size and is rather thin fabric. Pretty pattern though.

I am normally a 10/12 depending on the brand because my chest is 36E. But I really wanted to try this dress for Thanksgiving and my size wasn't available so I took a chance on the 8! Well, it fits all the way until my chest 😂 so I thought I'd try a cream color sweater over top. Turns out I like it- I'll probably be super hot in it but oh well, it will look cute in photos. If i had the correct size I'd probably think it was tooooo much plaid. And the fabric falls in a weird way. It's a fun dress

I was obsessed with this dress on the model. But it didn't look so great on me. The bulky pockets add weight to the hips and one button pulled across my bust. In all fairness I have a large bust but it could have used some hook and eye closures in between the top few. The fabric is amazing

The buttons were at least 3 inches away from closing around my chest. Definitely a size or two smaller than expected. It's a cute, flannel dress. I wish it was sized properly

I wear a size C or D, so I am very conscious when I wear button down dresses. This one was spectacular. It was a bit tighter on top (due to my body) but the lower part of the dress was very comfortable. There is an extra clasp next to the button near the belly button, so it gives extra security to those conscious about their stomach area.

The cut is impeccable. Even with pockets, my waist looks trim and tailored. Rented for a work conference and was able to comfortably wear all day. Size up if you are large Chester (or use a safety pin if you still want it to hug your curves everywhere else)

PROS: Great comfortable material. It is thinner than you would think though. But that is OK since we don't really have much of a winter here in Texas. I love that it HAS POCKETS! It is such a casual yet polished look. CONS: It is a bit long. I like long dresses, but even I would have liked the skirt to be a few inches shorter.

Love this dress! I most often wear a 10 but only the 12 was available. Glad I got the 12 because the 10 would have been too tight in the waist. And even the 12 was too tight in the bust to button without a gap. I ended up wearing a turtleneck under it. Actually looked great layered. The dress is super long! I wore it with a riding boot and it was just an inch or so off the floor. Fabric is soft flannel and gorgeous fall colors. I got so many compliments. This one will be tough to send back.

Was long at an inch or so off ground with a slight heel, but didn’t catch. Shifts and moves nicely. Light flannel material. Great having pockets; on someone with wide hips they might add to width. Gorgeous colors; lighter in person than picture. So comfortable and still dresses up the appearance. Hid my tummy well.

Perfect for fall weather. I am 5'11 and the 2R went all the way down to my ankles.

This is a lovely dress. Finely woven wool blend with full button front and button cuffs. I have to layer under wool due to my sensitivities and usually wear a size 8 so this was very roomy. It would benefit from being lined and is quite light. Loads of compliments, even from men. Might be tight in the chest area for some.

Love love love this! I am tall and the sleeves were long, dress was long and flared at the end for easy walking. A bit of wool in material, but no enough to be itchy, just enough to hold style. I would have purchased if could. Will rent as often as I can.

The fit was comfortable, true to size, erring on the slightly big. I am 5'8" and the dress hit the top of my feet. Which I loved, but might not work for someone shorter. Loved this dress. Colors an plaid was on point.

This is a gorgeous dress for fall. The top half is very form fitting and lovely if you are tiny on top. The bottom half is forgiving and flows beautifully. My one negative is possibly in the way I wore it for the cooler temps - if wearing tights the skirt clings and sticks as you walk. Think it would be better bare-legged if you have the fall temperatures for that.

I really liked the style and color however it was much too snug in the bustline . I usually wear a 10 or 12 in a dress and a 6 in jeans and pants so it is often hard to find a dress that fits well.

I underestimated that this dress is like fully wool and super heavy. I wanted it for a San Diego winter day and knew it would just be way too hot. It's gorgeous though!

Definitely needed a belt to look right, but a great dress for fall.

This dress is beautiful on the hanger but did not fit over my upper arms. It has no stretch, so you can't really squeeze into it. The pockets are also placed in an odd angle, so if you have big hips, they look extra wide.

Wanted so badly to love this dress. Fit was awkward all over. Better with a belt but pockets still gaped, making my hips look wider than they actually are. Great fabric for fall/winter.

I like the pattern, though the material is both thinner and scratchier than one would hope for from plaid. The real issue I had with this pretty, interesting dress is that the fit was not great--it was sort of shapeless and loose in the waist without a belt and needed a slip to stop from clinging in odd places.

Loved everything about this dress except it was too tight across the bust and gapped when buttoned. Going to try the next size up and hope for the best.

Cute pattern but big in the hips and mid section. I'm a 34D -And the 8 fit good in the chest but was big everywhere else. Wore it once with cute boots but added a belt so I didn't look like a tent

The dress was true to size, however it was unwearable due to the unbelievable amount of static cling. I don't know if it is because it is cold out and it came in the plastic cleaner bags. But either way I was hugely disappointed that I could not wear it to my grandson's christening.

The proportions were way off (I'm 5'5). The dress was too long, the pockets stuck out in a very unflattering way. The dress was the most unflattering fit imaginable. If you have curves, not for you.
