Loved this but the buttons gaped on me and I'm very small chested! I went up a size too! I think it's how the dress is designed. Otherwise really liked this dress.

The silhouette of this on me was fabulous—I looked so long and lean. I also really loved that it has pockets. The collar was a little frustrating, but would probably be fine if I’d ironed it.

Love this dress. It fit great through my hips and waist. I wear a size 4 and wear a c cup in my bra. The top just fit across the bust but would pull open. I wore a scarf that covered that. I recommend you size up if you have a moderate or larger chest.

Nice and light summer work dress. The 4 fit perfect, though the buttons around my breasts did have a tendency to come undone, so potentially might want to size up.

Like everyone else described, this fits great all over but in the bust. I wore a button down over it and tied at the waist which was cute but would have loved or even purchased this if it wasn't for the bust issue.

This is a burst of color and a little fun for my conservative office. The fabric lacks body that would be improved with lining. But, ladylike and polished enough with nude heels, gold jewelry, and a .5 inch wide dark red belt with gold buckle. Fabric tape fixed the gapping.

I sized up after ordering the 8 because it gaped between the two top buttons, and the problem persisted in the size 10. I'm not extremely busty, so this definitely seems to be a design flaw! I had to wear the dress with a camisole, leaving the top button undone, so it wouldn't look inappropriate or weird at work. Loved the fit, fabric, and pockets otherwise! Probably won't rent again thought because of the gap issue.

I read the reviews about buttons popping open in the chest, but I thought I’d be fine as a proportionally smaller-chested person. What kills me is that it fits perfect everywhere else, even though I’m pear shaped, and the pattern/color are lovely! Sadly I ended up not wearing it at all. I might have been able to use some clothing tape, but it wasn’t worth the hassle.

I have always loved Ralph Lauren but pieces like this seemed a bit excessive to purchase before I joined unlimited. This midi length button front dress is everything. So easy to wear and so comfortable. I wore this on both travel days to and from our trip to 30A as well as one evening on the trip. Looks fabulous with suede booties, can easily be belted, looks good with a sweater over top, would look great with a fun hat. Love this dress and will prob rent again next fall.

This dress is everything. High quality fabric, classic and flowing silhouette. I wore it many times but specifically to Disneyland. It was so comfy and breathable, paired with a white sneaker.

I wore this dress on a recent trip to Las Vegas and then again to Orange County. The dress is very comfortable and got a ton of compliments from women (and stares from men!). The size 4 fit snug around my large rib cage, but was a little too long on the legs. Other than the length, it's a perfect dress!

Loose easy fit--didn't realize the dress had pockets! Buttons at chest are widely spaced so needed a safety pin to prevent gaping. Tiny clasp at waste helps with this too.

This dress made me feel very preppy and precious. Ralph Lauren runs large so I sized down to a 2 (usually I am a 4). The dress is very figure flattering and I think it would also look cute with sneakers. For work, I wore it with jute wedges.

Wish there were a few more buttons at the top.

I loved this dress, only issue is the buttons popped open in the bust. I believe a customer before me sewed vertically down the button line which helped keep it closed but not completely.

I give up on dresses with buttons. This one would barely close. Ended up wearing it open with a tank underneath and a big statement necklace to make it look like I intended it to be that way. I also felt like the style was a little matronly. I think if you wore this style in the 80s and 90s, it's hard to wear again now. I felt too retro, but not in a stylish way.

This is NOT forgiving but it is beautiful! True to size, if in between then size up.

Loved wearing this to a day event and kept it on for dinner.

1950’s trad wife vibes and I’m here for it. This dress felt incredible on and was a really fun dress to wear with white sneakers while I ran around Chicago with my husband and son. I didn’t want to give it back!!!

This is a more flattering, feminine cut than the trending Little House on the Prairie style, but lets you rock the fabric type and length. I loved it and got lots of compliments on it. I wore with a jacket and Swedish Hasbeen clog boots and it was a great early fall combo. Wanted to buy it…may come back to it.

I usually wear a size 16 but sometimes I fit into a size 14 I couldn't even get this buttoned. Probably not good if you are chesty as there is a big gap between the buttons in the top area - Hoping to lose some weight and re-rent this

LOVE THIS DRESS... not for the full busted ladies.... I am flat chested and still needed an extra safety pin to keep the dress from opening between the buttons whenever I sat down. Size up or use the safety pin but the dress looks wonderful on! I've worn it to school multiple times now.

All the other reviews are correct about this dress gapping in bust area. I ordered a size bigger than I usually wear hoping to avoid the issue. I still needed 4 safety pins. Very nice fabric.

As so many others have noted, it really gapes across the bust. I wore a cami and left it unbuttoned a few buttons and it was fine. Very cute other than the fit issue.

This dress is very pretty and comfortable. I wore to work and more casually out to dinner. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the buttons pull at the chest even though the dress was not tight on me at all. I used fabric tape to help, but it was a bit annoying having to worry about it at work. I will still likely rent again.

Loved the dress, the only issue was it was tight around the boobs. I'm only 36 B, athletic build 5'6" 135lb. So wear a cardigan because buttons are going to look like they're about to pop
