I filled out the dress a little more than some other reviews. I didn't have trouble with the heavy zippers pulling the dress down. It was very comfortable. I wore it with a pair of gunmetal strappy heels... worked great.

Pros: Dress is true to size and has a waist band inside so it accentuates your waist. I am only 5'2, and the length fit great with a heel. My overall favorite part were the sleeves, you can wear one off the shoulder while the other is shorter. If you want it to fall off your shoulder or looser in the tummy area, get a size up (or vice versa) Great color, many compliments- highly recommend Cons: I received one dress in a different size and the zipper was broken on the sleeve.

This gown is an amazing deep plum color. The draping detail at the top is so cool, but my favorite part - the zipper detailing at the shoulders! Crazy easy fit that covers everything, but isn't too conservative. Loved it!

Gorgeous dress. Works for any body type. Easy to move, walk, dance. I got tons of compliment, the strangers were stopping by just to mention what a beautiful dress was it. Even though it is advertised as black, it looks dark eggplant in a real life. Nevertheless, it's very rich color that ads the charm to the dress. (See the photo inside a car) The fabric (silk) is heavy and drapes beautifully. It has an elastic belt inside that holds the dress on the waist and supports the perfect drapes. If you're not quite happy with your body, or anticipating to enjoy all food possible, it is go-for-dress. I can't imagine any body type this dress wouldn't work for. Warning: the left arm opening is deep and reveals the side of the breast. I fixed this problem with wearing black lace balcony no-show bra. You can also fix it using double side tape on the front and the back of the opening. The dress is made the way you can wear it if it's smaller or bigger than your size as well. The only thing you should pay attention to is the length. I got it in tall, and with 4.5" heels it was a perfect length for me. I was lifting the dress while walking the steps or on the ground, but had no problem dancing. I ran into the biggest issue while trying to find well matching set of jewelry. The dress has 2 zippers that run across the shoulders and back. This embellishment is the statement on it's own. The zippers were silver metal finished with mate black. It doesn't play well with the dressy gold items; better with silver finished. However, a big cuff or bold bracelet is the must, as the plain black front requires something to be a focal point. You can also give the twist to the total look by using rock style jewelry: leather, studs, thorns etc. A bold ring won't be overkill too. I got black sateen heels before I got the dress. It wasn't a best match as the dress is blackish eggplant. I would work better with the black patent leather shoes, the best with the all shades of violet sateen.

Wear a strapless bra since the shoulders kept on falling off- it is a sexy look to let it fall - just don't let that bra strap show.

I ordered what I thought was equivalent to a 6 and 8 long, but the tag said I received a 10 and a 12. I wore the 10, which was a little big, but the length was perfect. The draping of this dress is amazing. It looks very chic and it hides EVERYTHING. If you have a little pudge in the midsection, then this is the dress for you. You also can drape the shoulders a myriad of ways. The Hollywood tape sent with the dress was a miracle worker. The right side armhole was too big (because the size was too big for me), so I used the tape and it held the dress in place ~ it didn't even move after an hour on the dance floor. Just a great dress ~ if the size had been exactly right, I wouldn't have wanted to return it.

Gorgeous dress that was perfectly draped to accentuate my assets and hide my flaws. I did have to wear something under the dress because one of the arm holes does reveal a little too much side skin but someone else on RTR mentioned that so I was prepared. I received so many compliments and don't want to send it back. I LOVED IT and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique dress that will get everyone's attention.

Wore this 19 weeks pregnant, fit perfectly and looked amazing.

I fell in love with this dress, as many reviews here also said, I didn't want to send it back. I wore it to a very fancy wedding and got compliments from many many people, a lot who I didn't even know. It really is very forgiving, covers everything up in the right places and sat beautifully on my body. I felt glamorous in it and was very comfortable the whole night. the dark metal zippers add a lot of character to the dress and several people said how they were the perfect touch on the dress.Only downside is due to the hanging sleeve on one side it made it hard to lift that hand while dancing so at time I looked a little handicapped with one hand waving in the air and the other at half mast but it was still more than fine. I am 5'5/5'6 and wore a 3/3.5 inch heel and the Long was just a little long, I didnt have an option of regular length though so it was fine, I did have to left it up a lot of the time when walking and dancing, and held it up with one hand most of the night. Othersie it was amazing - I highky recommend if anyone wants to wow not just the crowd but the biggest fashion critics there.

It looks very long at first but once on and once you adjust it to the way you want it to hang, it fits great. There is a zipper on each sleeve that tend to weigh the sleeve down, but you can adjust according to your comfort. Highly recommend for a formal event.

Loved this dress! I am four months post-baby and things aren't quite back to where they used to be. I wore this to a school auction and felt great! The cut of this dress was so flattering- camouflaged across the the belly, fitted through the hips, and I could wear a regular bra, which is a big plus these days. The right arm hole is cut a bit large so you have to be careful about waving your arm around so others don't see your bra. I'm 5'8" and wore the regular length with 5" heels- the long is very long! Beautiful color too!!

The fit was great. Very flattering. I probably could have worn a size smaller even but it still looked great. I am 5'4" so the dress was a little long for me. No one noticed though. Overall, it was a sexy and classy dress that got compliments all night.

Fits great - I went with my actual size and it fit great. It was a little long but with heels you're fine. This dress was amazing. I did not wear a necklace and opted instead for statement earrings and a bracelet. Love the dress.

All in all, the dress is beautiful and I got compliment after compliment. I'd certainly rent it again. However, there are two cons I can describe: 1. the dress has zippers on the shoulders that were quite heavy, so that if you have a smaller frame, the zippers will drag the dress around a bit, and I found myself constantly fixing the top; 2. one of the "sleeves" is WAY too open- you can't tell from the pictures. So I had to wear a camisole underneath so that no one could see my bra if I lifted my arm.

The fit was great, it hugged in all the right areas and draped in the rest. you could sort of see some side boob if you weren't careful, and the length is LONG even with heels - made it hard to dance!

Though the concept of the dress is great, the draped style is hard to execute. If had to be adjusted often.
