It was down right comical trying to figure out where the elastic was meant to go when first putting it on - I even searched for a youtube video or instructions for the thing. After some laugh out loud trying various fits, it clicked. I was worried it would be uncomfortable for the long night we had planned when I first got it on. I don't like things on my neck. Minimal adjusting and it felt incredibly effortless all night. My date did trip on the train once, so warn your followers. I LOVED it - this was a first trying a style like this, I was worried it wouldn't work for my body shape. I'll be trying more like it.

I need to buy this dress! The draping is perfect and you can practically look pregnant and not have it show because of the brilliant drop waist. The color is more beautiful in person. The fabric is thick and high quality. I got lots of compliments wearing this--there is something very simply yet very elegant about the shape. And since there is no cleavage, there was no worry about fashion tape or anything like that. I was so comfortable all night. One thing to note is that all undergarment lines show in this dress, so Spanx are a "must." Also, I am pretty short and it was way too long for me. I just had to be a little more careful than usual.

I just had my second baby a few months ago and I definitely have a tummy. I also have nursing boobs. This dress made me look thin and perfect. The draping was amazing. I'm only 5'2'' and the regular length in a 4'' heel was perfect. However there is a tiny bit of a train. It's longer in the back, which I liked. I got a gabillion compliments. Wish I owned it.

This dress was beautiful. I wore it to a black tie military ball and it was so well received. I accessorized it with a snake skin clutch to match my snake skin pumps. Simple gold jewelry gave it an awesome Mediterranean feel, but I kept it simple for the most part. The dress itself was breathable, which made it easy to move around and dance; however, as the night progressed, I found that the fabric under the open shoulder became looser so I ended up tucking it into my strapless. I recommend wearing seamless undergarments, or even Spanx to remove lines. There are three ribbons running along the inside of the dress to create the drop cinched waist, but they didn't give me any issues once I figured them out. The dress does run long, but my 5in heel with a 2in platform pumps served me well. The dress hugs where it should, and is loose where I needed it; feel free to eat as much as you want before your event because this dress allows for it!

I was surprised how much I liked this dress - it looked a bit cheesy on the hanger and is definitely not made of a natural fiber. I almost did not try it on. I am glad I did, because it looked so much better on. I usually wear a 6 but had ordered an 8 - I probably should have ordered a 6 because there is a lot of fabric involved, but the 8 looked fine. As all the comments say, it was super long, even though I thought I ordered the "regular" length.

The other reviews are right--this dress definitely runs a little long but the cut works on almost anyone and it is such a unique color. I felt comfortable and confident in it all night long. Would definitely recommend for a black tie event.

The color and the drape of this dress is simply beautiful! Being blonde and tragically pale, I typically steer clear of anything orange, but this particular orange had enough red in it that the color was stunning! I ordered the 40L (4) and 42L (6) for a formal gala. It is true that the dress turned out to be absurdly long; I never anticipated that I should have ordered the regular length, being 5'9 and wearing 4" heels. I ended up having to hold up the dress while I walked, but it was a small price to pay for all the compliments I received on it (it was only an inch too long, didn't seem worth the bother of hem tape). The size difference between the 40L and the 42L was a little interesting, ultimately I went with the 42L because the draping hit me at my hips like the model in the photo, the draping for the size 40L ended up hitting me at my natural waist. There was a little excess fabric on the top shoulder, but i just attributed that to sizing up. It was a beautiful, comfortable dress to wear all evening and I highly recommend it, but definitely think twice about which length is right for you!

The color of this dress is absolutely stunning. It was very comfortable and flattering to my figure. However, I did feel it ran a bit small (especially in the bust area). I'm typically a size 8 (40) but ended up wearing my backup size 10 (42). This dress is extremely long and I wished I would have rented the regular vs the long. I'm 5'7" and even in 4-inch heels, the long was still another 3-4 inches too long. This made it impossible to walk and I had to hold it up all night. Hem tape did not work for me on this dress- wouldn't hold. I would definitly recommend this dress - just think twice about renting the long.

I thought this dress ran large and it is very long. I wore 4 inch heels and it was still skimming the floor. The color is a bright reddish orange. It was very comfortable and well made, the fabric was very light but not thin.

The jersey fabric made the dress comfortable, and the color was great. The picture doesn't show that the hem is asymmetrical, and the dress is very long (I'm 5'7" and wore the regular length and even with 5 1/2" heels, I still had to hold it up on one side when walking. But overall, it was great. A week later, my man just randomly commented again on how pretty I looked in it!

This dress is a very flattering color of orange. It drapes in all the right places to cover waistline trouble spots. WIth this dress, Spanx are a must, as the fabric is thin and the back will show any lines, bulges, etc. I would have given it 5 stars, but the length was very confusing. My regular size was the 40R, but it was about 12 inches too short! Luckily the backup, 42R, made up for it. The 42R was a little long even with 5 inch heels. I couldn't put in a temporary hem because the hemline is asymmetrical and the fabric is so thin that it shows the hem tape. Be careful when selecting your size!!

I loved wearing this dress as it was extremely comfortable and simple, yet chic. I ended up renting the longer version because the regular was not available. I had to put a temporary hem in it for the night and it was still too long. Combined with the Kenneth Jay Lane necklace shown on the website, I felt very elegant at my formal event!

I have a longer torso so the gather didn't quite sit at the hip resulting in VPL, so I had to pull on those trusty spanx. I ordered the 40L and the 42L, the 42L was HUGE in the bust and the gather still didn't make it down to my waste like the model shown. Also, the dress is tapered slightly from front to back NOT straight across like the model is shown. This tapering makes the dress longer in back and therefore I had to hold it when I was standing so that I didn't shuffle over it. There are ribbon straps on the inside of the dress to hold up the structure of the dress, the back connection point on the seam was a bit bulky.

The color of this dress is beautiful, and even better in person than in the model photo. The material is heavy but not thick, so it shows every bump. The dress is not lined. You will definitely need spanx in a style without any seams. Even though this was not form fitting, the seams on the stomach area of my shape wear showed. This was my backup dress and my first choice fit so I wore it. However, I would not have been able to wear this dress because it was waaayyyy too long. I even tried on platform heels that are 5+ inches high (making me over 6' tall) and the dress was still 3 inches too long. Don't order the long unless you are very tall and plan on wearing heels. I even worry the regular would be too long for more petite women.

The size chart recommended that anyone over 5'6" order the "long" length. I am 5'9" and had planned to wear 5 inch heels, so I ordered a 38L and 40L. I am typically a small or size 4 and the 40 fit perfectly. It was gorgeous. Except that it was 6 inches too long- even with my heels on. I could not walk two steps without the threat of tearing the dress. I was not able to wear the dress and had to rush to purchase something for the wedding. I was extremely frustrated because I adored the dress and if I had ordered the regular length it would have been perfect. I would not recommend ordering the long unless you are over 6 ft tall AND plan to wear heels. Also- the dress is a bit difficult to get on due to interior straps that create the "rushing" detail. It was a bit cumbersome, but not a deal breaker.

Wore this dress to a destination black tie wedding and made the mistake of not trying on my full get-up before I left. I tried on the dress at home and thought it was great. A little long, but my heels should have covered it. This was NOT the case. I am 5'6'' and had on 6 inch heels and the dress was still dragging on the ground the entire night. I kept tripping over it, could not even dance because it was so uncomfortable. The top also kept falling down and the dress was way too heavy to control with fashion tape. The pictures were gorgeous because the color is very nice, but I was just uncomfortable all night. If you must rent this dress, definitely size way down!!!

The elastic strap inside makes it difficult to put on, especially if you've just had your hair done!

I'm athletic/slightly curvey and this pulled in all the wrong places. Also wasn't a fan of the fabric, felt like a thick polyester. This was my back-up, so I went with my original. Color was gorgeous though, may have been good for a straigher body type and a more casual event.

I'm sad to say that something happened to the lengths on these dresses. I was so excited to see that these were SUPER long for most people and as someone who is 5'11 I was encouraged that I could wear this dress with any sized heel. Unfortunately, both dresses looked like they had been altered in the front to make it shorter. Neither dress hit the floor in the front as shown in the picture and it now looks like it had a train on it. Which totally didn't work for me and the shape of the dress isn't clean like it is in the picture. So if you are TALL, take caution.....these dresses are not as long anymore as mentioned in previous comments.
