heavier than it looks and complicated to put on, but fits like a dream
the reviews were truthful in saying they this is a doozy of a dress to put on- there are three major components , the skirt zipper, top clasps, and the vast amount of strings to tie. but if you can muddle through , you get a beautiful dress that sits very flatteringly. I was mildly disappointed that the back wasn't more interesting - it's very "clothed" and hides the interesting details - but the front makes up. i'd want to wear this again for a vacation or formal affair

I sized up- shouldn't have!
I rented an 8 rather than a 6 and it was a little big. This dress is definitely structured and made with a thicker material- I thought it would be light and airy, made of cotton WRONG! Despite that it was beautiful to wear and I received many complements! I would rate this dress true to size despite renting a an 8 vs. 6.

Great dress, wrinkles easy: here's how to put it on
To put it on, step into it and zip the zipper on the side. Then pull the top part up so the circle is below your chest. Put your arms through the holes in that fabric so that the clasp part that looks like a bra strap is clasped on the side of your body and not in the back. Pull the front part of the Dress up and tie the top strings up behind your neck, positioning the capelet over your shoulders. Then tie the second lot of strings together in the back. This dress is so gorgeous. Extremely heavy though and like everyone else said, wrinkles so easily that you'll only look good for about 30 minutes before the creasing begins

PERFECT dress for my honeymoon to Greece. Stunning cutouts that aren't skanky, but feel glamorous.
The dress was complicated to put on at first. Skirt was a bit big but hung elegantly on my hips. Didn't need a bra. Fabric was a bit heavy.

Really pretty
This dress is stunning and way more substantial then the photos let on. Complaints about all the straps I don't understand. It wasn't rocket science to put on. The slit is a nice touch.

Glamorous, classy and sexy!!
This dress is definitely complicated but totally worth it!! Don't expect to put it on yourself, you definitely need a second set of hands but once you figure that out it's GORGEOUS!! I wore it for a black tie affair and dressed it up with jewelry and sparkly shoes. I wanted to keep it and wear it again for dinner because you can definitely dress it down. I will definitely rent this again and I am so tempted to purchase it!! It really is that AMAZING!!

What a unique dress! Plan to take 10 mins to get it on, it's delightfully complicated
I needed an instruction booklet to put this on, and could've used some help, but once it was on, it was glorious! I felt like a goddess!

Beautiful (but complex) dress for a formal affair!
I wore this dress for a styled bridal photoshoot and I thought it was beautiful. It is very complex to put on and you will need someone to help you, but once you get it figured out, it's comfortable and feels very secure. It's hard to tell from pictures, but there's fabric that goes across the chest, so there's no risk of under-boob. You can't wear a bra with this dress and there is no padding in the chest, so I would say pasties are necessary. The material is very substantial and not at all see-through - more of a heavy, formal material than a casual, light dress. The back dips down pretty low and a lot of lower back is visible. If you are between sizes, size down, otherwise you run the risk of it being baggy and dipping down a little too low. Even when I sized down, the waist was comfortable and did not cut into my sides and create a "muffin top" or rolls in my low back.

Wrinkles really easily
Fun dress. The wrinkles you see are from my daughter sitting on my lap. It wrinkles and creases very easily, and the wrinkles stand out. This is not a complicated dress to put on: 1- zipper on lower left side (like a skirt); 2- a top tie and middle tie in the back; 3- four vertical hook and eyes on the upper left ribcage. The hook and eyes are easier with a partner, but I was able to fasten on my own with a little bit of work. I planned to rent this for a white boat party, but after reading a review that stated it could be dressed up, I rented it for a theater outing. The material is heavy, which is what elevates it to being dressier than you'd assume from the cut of the dress. I probably won't wear it for the boat ride.

Versatile statement dress
Loved this dress so much! Very unique styling and hit at all the right places. Can be dressed up or down. The fabric is a little heavy but still comfortable in late Spring 80ish degrees outdoors.

Amazing dress - so many compliments!
I rented this dress for an engagement party. The 2R fit perfectly for me, and they have 2 different clasps to make it looser/tighter around the bust area. I am 5'3'' and it hit me right at my ankles with short heels on. The material is really nice, somewhat heavy, but I was never hot due to the fun cut out's in the back! I got tons of compliments, and would totally rent it again for the right occasion!

Grand design; worn out dress
The design is lovely. It felt like a high fashion piece- flattering, pleasantly complicated, heavy material that draped beautifully. Unfortunately it is white and probably very popular. It looked dingy and old- too old to wear.

Tall and slender ladies should grab this dress. The lining was too tight for me.
Great dress for the more slender, narrow, tall ladies out there.

I have a masters degree, but couldn't figure out this dress. Too complicated for a vacation dress.
Too many ties, zippers and hooks to put together. It also showed the rolls in my lower back.

Unique style
I needed help figuring out how to get this dress on. This dress would not fit a tall girl. It barely covered my chest. No bra needed. The dress is heavy and wrinkles.

Extremely heavy, odd fit
Was really excited to get this but as soon as I picked up I noticed the weight of the RTR bag. Also the shoulders fell forward making me look like a linebacker. Sad because I usually love this brand and fit!

If you're looking for a challenge, rent this dress
For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to put this on. With some help, I got it on right and it didn't even look flattering. A hassle to take off too!
