I'm 5'6", 145 pounds. Dress fit true to size, flattering cut. A little bit fussy-looking for regular wear, but paired nicely with a white blouse with clean lines.

Really cool and flattering skirt. It has a contemporary Japanese feel to it. Very comfortable and practical! The waist is a bit adjustable with the belt.

Loved loved loved this skirt. Fit perfectly and I wore it three times before retuning it. Super high waist was flattering (but required some attention on undergarments). I did a little bit punk one day, more biz style another, and it served both well. The fabric is thick and the asymmetrical hem is so luxe.

I have considered buying this skirt I love it so much. It fits like a glove. Please note it has no stretch, so if you are unsure, size up! I feel like it's got goth 90's vibes yet it's so classy and structured. Because it is black, it goes with anything. It is cut really high waisted, so I liked pairing it with shorter sweaters and also a Samantha Sipos jacket from RTR. The skirt also was longer on me than on the model, but I didn't mind. I love the way the fabric flows when you walk. Also, the material is very thick, and I felt warm with leggings on cold winter days. I will probably rent this one again. It's a great piece!

I love this cute skirt by 3.1 Phillip Lim. The belt adds a nice detail to the skirt. It's comfortable and fitted at the waist. There's comfortable room throughout the midsection and hip area and the fabric is loose so it moves lightly. I recommend wearing your true size and sizing up for your backup size. At 5’3 this skirt hits tea length for me.

Fits perfectly to size, super flattering and slimming. There is no waist give in the event you are between sizes, but it was prefect for me. The material is high quality and on the thick side, I actually wore it with some heat tech leggings underneath in 25 degree weather and it wasn't bad at all. Looks adorable, highly recommend.

This skirt is very flattering and makes it easy to incorporate my basic pieces in with a skirt that was a little funky and cool. Very comfortable. I got lots of compliments.

Rented this for work. Thick denim-like material would be great in cool weather. A-line style is wider at the bottom than I would normally like but the asymmetrical style is quirky and fun. High-waist allows for crop top at work without skin showing. Trendy & eye catching. Would rent again.

If it weren't summer, I'd live in this skirt! I rented it last spring and wore it to death. I'd say it's a 3-season skirt. It easily transitions from formal to super casual. I love it.

This skirt is fantastic. Exactly like the picture. Kick-about-cool. Easy to style and comfortable on. Lightweight fabric that moves as you walk. Highly recommend.

This worked so well for me. SUPER flattering: made my stomach look perfectly flat and worked well with a variety of tops. Heavy fabric- great for fall and winter. It does rustle quite bit when you walk, but was fun to wear.

The belt we great to get that cinched waist look. The only thing was that belt isn't running through a loop, it's running through holes in the dress, so it looks like there's a hole in the dress! Ha, but didn't bother me much.

high attention to detail - I wore with long sleeves to work and switched over to an off the should crop for night. The waist is high enough to show minimum skin with a crop. Fun to play with a heavy bottom and lighter top. Very great to walk in - so much movement for a heavier material. Highly recommend.

This skirt definitely makes a statement. I opted to dress it down with a white t-shirt and while heeled boots to let the skirt steak the show. I got a ton of compliments throughout the day. One thing to note is that the waistband has no give, so order a size up if you're on the cusp. If I rent again I'll rent it in a 6.

This skirt was so much more flattering than I expected. It camouflaged my tummy and the length was great on my 5'3" frame. I wore it with heeled boots and a turtleneck and will definitely be renting again.

It feels just a little bit punk with the thick grommet belt but in a good way! Construction of this skirt was unlike anything I've seen before. Waist/hip were super flattering and kept my waist looking narrow even though the skirt is voluminous.

Very flattering. It is not as flared as it looks on the model. The uneven hem at the bottom keeps it from having a dowdy look at the longer length. Made of cotton canvas. The waist comes up a bit high and has no give, but it runs true to size. Just recalculate if you are used to relying on stretch fabrics when sizing.

One of my favorite pieces ever. This skirt is so flattering. There is NO give in the waist, but the tie can tighten a little bit. I would size up if you don't want to risk not fitting it and are between sizes. I am 5'5" and the skirt didn't fit for me like it did the model. It went down almost to my ankles. This was not midi on me. But because of the cut, this skirt is beautiful on so many different heights and shapes. This A line cut is so flattering for al different body types. I will wear this skirt many times.
