I loved this dress. It was effortlessly stylish. I wasn’t familiar with sizing for Phillip lim, I normally would never fit in a 2 but I definitely needed it. I had to clip the back on the inside for it to not be so big.

True to size and very comfortable. It's a dress one can wear to a buffet.

I loved the asymmetrical length of this dress. It fit me really well though I had to wear heels so I didn't look too short in it. It was real thin so I actually wore it with a sweater inside because I am a bit cold natured. Silly feel. The pattern had little pink flowers. I would rent it again. I wore it as an everyday dress to work.

I wore this for work and got a lot of compliments. In the words of one lady: "High low doesn't usually work but that's just adorable. Well done." This dress definitely needs a belt in my opinion. It grew on me a lot as I wore it. Very light fabric that blows beautifully in the wind.

Super fun and flowy, but runs huge! The short side is definitely short, but I didn't have any problems with it. I'm a super consistent 4, rented this in a 2 based on reviews, and could have easily worn a 0.

This dress was super cool! It's loose and the pattern is tiny flowers (not dots like it may appear in pictures), and the uneven hemline really does steal the show. Really fun for everyday wear!

I am wearing this right now - layered a turtleneck under it for winter in cold climates. Took a 4 hour flight in it and walked off the plane looking fresh because the fabric is light and doesn't show wrinkles due to the print. I belted this time but can see myself leaving it unbelted in summer months. Super versatile and eye catching, will rent again! So many compliments!

I will start this review saying I do not like this print. Far away it looks like dots, up close it reminds me of something you'd see printed on baby leggings. HOWEVER, the tailoring of this dress is incredible. It's ultra flattering and I love how light the material is. I want to own it.

The hemline is everything! I do suggest a belt, since the material is sewn together around the waist, it poofs here and there. I wore a long sleeve top under to keep warm since I rented this during cooler months. Would look really cute with booties or in the summer with some heeled sandals. You can't see the floral detail too much but it's adorable. An the hemline is really fun!

The short end comes up above the knee but it didn't bother me too much.

Perfect thing for a wedding where the bride wanted things low key (while still being a step below black tie). Comfortable, fun for photos. Wish it was mine to keep.

I love the way this dress moves when I walk. It's not a defined in the waist as I would like but a belt helped with that.

wore the size 2 because 0 wasn't available and it felt like a size 2: slightly loose on me, but tolerable because of the cut/style. loved the asymmetrical hem. fabric is lightweight and perfect for hot summer days. the stitching on the bodice is unique, instead of just straight up and down on the sides, the stitching forms a sort of patchwork, which i thought looked fine but not particularly flattering. may result in fabric bunching up more on someone with more curves.

Cute pattern, and love the hemline. However it is a little large in the waist so if you have a small waist you will need a belt.

The bottom of this dress is gorgeous - asymmetric, fun, and not too short for work. The top, however, was large and awkward due to the rouching. I ended up layering a short sleeve turtleneck on top and loved the look, but wouldn't enjoy wearing it solo.

Am loving dark florals right now and the asymmetrical hem with the stripes on one side makes this stand out from the crowd. I thought it ran a little big in the waist but nothing a belt couldn't fix. I wore this more casually but you could definitely dress it up with heels and a fur jacket for a cocktail event. Can also wear a regular bra with it. One of my recent favorites for sure.

Lovely silk. Great hem. The finishes on this item, namely the inside seams, are poor quality for an $800 dress. One side of waist was a flattering cut but the other side is a bit baggy. This dress is sewn in sections. The short hem on one side of this dress came up high on my height so not for the office. I wore a padded bra as chest area a bit loose.

This dress is so comfortable, love how it slips over the head and is easier in the waist but still flattering/not frumpy. 2nd time renting, wish I could buy :) can dress up or down. Even wore it on a longer plane ride. Lots of compliments.

Loved the silhouette of this dress but opted to not wear it because of the fabric....felt down market.

This dress is lovely but the fabric is really thin. I needed an undergarment to make the dress look good on me. The bodice is very asymmetric which I usually like but it fit a little tight on the hips

This dress is honestly just too cute for words. I love the fit, there's no real give in the fabric but the design offers enough coverage that it's not a big deal. The bottom is so fun and flouncy I felt like i was dancing around my office all day. I dressed it down for a casual office but you could totally rock this dress for a more dressy occasion

I love this dress! I didn't want to give it back! It's comfortable in a light silk fabric that feels sturdy yet breezy. It's tailored beautifully and moves gracefully when you walk. It's fun to dance in. It's loose at the waist but you can add a wide belt to give it more shape if you like. It looks good on its own, with a cardigan over it, or a long sleeved top under it. I wore it all of these ways. I wore it to work, on a date, and out barhopping. Seriously, I want to own it.

A woman in her 70's asked me that question as I walked by one day and I giggled telling her it's why I love the dress! It's a lot of fun to wear and so comfortable!
