I'm short, so this skirt came to my ankles, but still looked cute and glam. I especially like the pleats and the side split.

Runs large and sort of weird pocket placement but I still loved this skirt. Hoping to rent it again when it’s back in stock.

It wasn't a problem, but I felt like it was a bit long on me. Overall, would rent again.

Love the weight and warmth of this skirt. It was a bit big in the waist but a belt quickly fixed the issue of it slipping down!

Loved this edgy yet sophisticated skirt. However, the many reviews saying it’s too big are spot on. I wanted to go for the high waisted look like in the model’s photo. I’m 5’6.5”, a bit shy of 120lbs, and have a 25” in waist - usually a size 4. I ordered down to the size 2, and the skirt was unfortunately at about my navel. I was able to rejigger it a bit (unbuttoned and tied the self closing belt extra tight) to keep it higher at my natural waist, but it clearly wasn’t meant to be worn that way, and I should’ve gotten the size 0. If you look at my photo, I’m clearly not a size 0 though!! In any event I will hang onto this for a couple of weeks bc I want to try some different outfit combos. For my first time I wore it with a cropped RTR sweater, a silk scarf tied French style, and timberland boots. I could see dressing it down with platform sneakers or dressing it up with heels.

Color is closer to a dark slate/navy blue. Thought it was black but it worked out better for this outfit! I’m 5ft 2in and waist 27 inches and usually wear a 0 or 2. Size 0 sat lower on my waist than I’d have liked, almost to the hip. So it was also long, almost to my ankle. Would’ve preferred to stop at mid-calf like the model but I am short so I expected this. Overall it’s not too heavy and beautifully made! Would size down if I could.

I’m 5’7 and this was not a good length for me. It also has a long piece that is sort of like a belt but the loops are only on the back and there’s no option to tighten it. The pleating doesn’t go all the way across the skirt- it’s very odd looking. There’s an asymmetric flap of smooth fabric that sits on the left side of the skirt and has one strange pocket right above the zipper that sort of sticks out- if the pocket wasn’t there you would think the flat panel maybe was supposed to go in the back. Altogether it was a confusing, heavy mess that I was not able to wear.

Fun & different to wear. As others mentioned, even when sizing down it still didn't fit up to my natural waist. The pleats held up mostly, but between it being shipped and then in a suitcase, the pleats flattened some. Still really liked it.

The skirt looked black online, but in person it’s actually a deep navy. Still, it was gorgeous and so much fun to wear in New York for my event. The fit was perfect and really flattering, I felt comfortable and confident all night.

Kids said I looked like a ballerina (precious things), husband said trendy witch (he needs training), coworker said I was giving modern Cinderella (the dream). I felt super comfortable and fun in it. 💖

LOVE this skirt! It’s definitely navy, which I couldn’t fully tell from the pics, but I really loved wearing this and got so many compliments from random people around the office.

This skirt is really cute and fits great. It's a bit bulky/heavy so keep that in mind when trying.

But I wasn't able to wear it... if you are between sizes and your waist is your limiting dimension, I'd recommend going down on this one. The 10 I ordered sat too low, and with the length and loads of navy faux leather, this one really needs to sit at the narrowest and highest point possible.

Not comfortable because it's a lot of fabric and very heavy.

this is not a flattering skirt for athletic builds. It doesn't lay right if you have hips

This is a heavy skirt but i otherwise enjoyed it. Draped more asymmetrical on me than the model. Got quite a few compliments at work.

The concept of this skirt was great. I would have to size down. Though I would call it large on me, there was a bit of room which is ok, but the pleated part of the skirt is heavy and the skirt kept falling. I don't know if I've described that correctly.

Not super flattering

This piece is really high quality and the fabric is heavy. The waist was too big and with the heavy weight, it fell to an awkward mid rise that I was not going for.

A little too dark to go with blue items but looks weird with black.

Belt to cover button seemed incomplete it doesn’t wrap all the way around and just felt unfinished.

I ended up not wearing this because it just wasn’t the right fit for my body type. I’ve got a big butt so usually a line works for me. The skirt is a combo of straight wrapped in a line. It just didn’t sit right on me and was a bit heavy on just one side. Gorgeous quality though.

The skirt was cool! I’m bummed I couldn’t wear it. Just didn’t fit my body style and would have loved to wear it but it was too large for my waist to fit on my hips. May consider making a different choice if hourglass shaped.

The little hook on the side is bent so I wasn’t able to close it properly, but could see the large fit right away.
