Sophisticated modern witch realness
I wore this dress for a day out in Brooklyn in 30 degree weather and it made me feel so confident and badass. Paired with thick tights, the heavy canvas skirt was warm enough but you could also rock this dress in the summer for a cool summer goth look :) The belt allows you to accent your waist and I like that you could replace it with a belt of your own. I'm on the short side (5'4) and usually avoid tea length dresses but this one looked awesome, so I'd say go for it even if you're not tall. Go down a size.

Not your basic black dress!
Loved this dress! So easy to wear and just so cool looking. Loved the versatility- I wore it with flat sandals for a warmer weather look one day and another day with boots and a jacket You definitely need the belt to cinch in the dress, which gives it a modern paper bag waist. The belt in my dress arrived damaged, but I was able to wear it with my own belt as the belt loops are wide enough. Fit overall is loose and the asymmetrical skirt is striking. Agree with other reviews that the little snap that connects the top portion to the skirt, won't stay closed due to the weight of the skirt. I was able to tuck in the top and hide it within the waist of the skirt portion Overall a great dress and I'll definitely rent it again!

Perfect for traveling
In the time I rented this, I wore it for a presentation, a day wandering Versailles, and dinner at a nice restaurant in London. It was easy to pack, really comfortable and stylish. I would recommend going down one size.

Great dress! I was surprised by the fabric ! The skirt portion of the dress is denim. A look that can definitely be dressed up or down.

Just my style
Love this! Nice weight so it doesn't cling, hangs well, flattering. It's a little short waisted but I have a long torso. The little button that holds the t-shirt part to the skirt part is a little hard to clasp (side clasps are hard in general, boobs get in the way and you can't see them) and pops open a lot. Even so, I found this very comfortable and very much my style, I love the cotton twill fabric. Am considering buying this from somewhere, I like it that much.

Edgy, Chic and Comfortable
This was exactly the type of dress I wanted for my Euro trip as it was both stylish & comfortable. I actually wore it twice. Once to work with some edgy, stacked heel booties and again with sneakers while walking around Florence. It's exactly the kind of look I was seeing on the streets of Paris. The overall fit is definitely large & a little overwhelming for me at 5'3", but I love the edgy design. My only complaint is that the snap at the waist that's supposed to keep the top attached to the skirt isn't sturdy enough to bear the weight of the very heavy skirt so I had to pin it to keep it from gaping open at the waist.

Dress that looks like separates
This dress is darling and looks like you put time to put a casual yet avant-garde look together. The asymmetric skirt provides a special detail while the top is simple and classic. The only reason why I gave this 4-stars is because the top snaps to the skirt on the side--I spent much of my time re-snapping the dress or being worried it was unsnapped.

Runway meets Weekday
This is a funky but fun piece. I wore it with 4" heeled booties as well as flats and got compliments all day. Cons: The dress is long (I'm 5'9), a bit heavy (skirt is canvas like material), and I found the hidden snap that connects the tee to the side of skirt kept coming undone. However it's totally work appropriate, and those who appreciate a little flair will see heads turn to check this dress out. Most likely will rent again.

Easy outfit dress
I really liked the idea of this dress. I actually wore the 2 once and sent it back for the 0 because it's a looser fit. It lost a star for only having a pocket on one side. I kept trying to put my other hand where the pocket should have been but there wasn't anything there :/ but otherwise fun to wear!

Perfect dress for work, easy to layer and take up or down!
Two piece design in one great dress. Fits true to size. Had fun with the off centered length. If you are petite, beware the skirt has a lot of draped fabric, I loved it but even on my 5'9" was a lot of folds. Looked great with flats and with high heeled boots. Layered easy, since the top wears as a t-shirt, you can easily transition and wear, as if only a skirt. The only thing I was not crazy for was the side button construction, the 2 click buttons will undo on regular basis. The belt almost always hid that opening.

Loved this dress ... !
It was cool, chic, and sophisticated, not to mention extremely comfortable. The cuts are great. A pair of black pumps completed the look for a little less than formal affair - Great look for the office. Flip-flops (or flats) for the casual, everyday wear. So close to keeping this as a permanent piece for my closet!

Best dress. Don't rent so I can get it again.
So flattering. Belt is oddly too long and the tiny button (as others said) doesn't stay buttoned. But the most flattering dress I've rented in years of unlimited. Likely not right for your workplace but a party is a great idea for this dress.

🖤 Cool & Unique 🖤
I actually wore this several times. The belt was kinda awkward so I ditched it. The quality of the belt wasn't consistent with that of the dress. Maybe looked a little funny without it, but I felt comfortable and confident wearing, which outweighed how it looked. Probably not for everyone, but I would def wear again 🖤

Not sure about this one
It's very different and I received lots of compliments; however I found the skirt material very heavy. I felt like I was wearing a fancy dress witches costume. Also the popper does constantly come undone which is irritating. I'm glad I rented it to wear something a bit unusual but I wouldn't buy it

Felt Stylish
Large ....but I like large better than tight The asymmetrical hem gave this a fun edge. The fabric is very heavy and would be a better winter or fall item I rented in July! used a web-light colored belt and woven espadrille type shoe to make more season appropriate

Asymmetric skirt, loved it!
This was more dressed up than I expected as the top is a bit nicer than regular T-shirt. The skirt is very full and was mid-calf on me (I'm 5'10"). I think it would swallow up someone who is petite. But I loved it and felt unique in it. The snap does come on done constantly, but I just left it unsnapped, as I didn't really need it.

Oversized
I'm between a 6 and an 8, and I should have ordered a 4. This was super long on me and was almost floor length. It has a great high waist for anyone with a long torso, and the belt actually cinches properly to fit. I just didn't love all the fabric in the skirt as much as I expected to, and the oversized fit was overwhelming.

Not meant for petite women
First off, I was thrown off by the skirt. It was a denim-like material and asymmetrical hem. As someone who is 5'2", this dress overpowered me. I liked that the skirt and top were different materials so that it looked like a top and skirt instead of a dress. But it just was not flattering on me at all. I think it would look phenomenal on a tall woman, but definitely not for petite women.

Usually i love the almost military lines, but for me this just missed the mark. Quality fabric. Runs a bit big. Really wanted it to work but just couldnt get myself out the door in it, felt like a costume.
