I sized up because I bought this for my mom who has a larger bust than me, but I wore it and loved it so much. Fit great, could’ve worn normal size. The fabric is a bit thin for the price but still a beautiful dress

I just love this brand and everything they make. The sizing is wildly off and complicated unfortunately but this 40R worked perfectly for me after I ordered a different size previously. Well made and flattering.

Beautiful dress! The not great: the band across the chest is tight and I’m not large chested. Made zipping up on the side challenging. In turn this made the straps slip off my shoulders unless I was standing with perfect posture. This was a minor inconvenience. But noteworthy. The great: the fabric is gorgeous and it fit me well in length. I’m 5’8 and wore flat sandals. The fabric is thin cotton but not see through and not gauze as another review said. It ironed up well even though that took forever as there is a lot of fabric here. Steaming won’t help. Iron imho. I wore this in 102 degree weather and it was breathable. Lots of compliments and I would rent this again.

The fabric is a really pretty print on a light cotton gauze. There’s a mini slip lining that’s also in cotton, but very generously proportioned so not a concern if you are more curvy on the bottom. My chief problem with this is that I’m more busty, and, the top goes right through the middle of the chest and completely flattened out my breasts. It was also very snug with no room for a strapless. This would have worked much better if it was an Empire cut rather than going straight across the chest. Also very long, I’m wearing 5” platform wedges. This will work best for someone tall and small breasted.

The dress is really pretty and light and has a really flattering silhouette. However the bust area is teeny tiny (and I have a pretty small bust proportionally) and the straps are long so it made me feel like I needed to hunch when sitting so that the straps didn’t fall off. I gave it four stars because it’s beautiful and so lightweight but took away a star bc I honestly feel sore from wearing it bc of the weird fit around the chest and the straps!

It’s so cute in real life and so light weight.

I love the design of this dress. Many compliments The only thing is the chest the banding is snug. It overall it’s beautiful and love the pockets!

I saw this dress on Goop and loved it so when RTR got it I stalked until I was able to rent it. It’s long and beautiful, the colors are vibrant and it’s incredibly chic. The top is tight as others have mentioned, but needed, as it’s the only place that fits. Attached slip underneath is also needed. Thin, delicate (gauzy) material as top layer. You have to be gentle with this piece (easily tearable) but it is gorgeous! I’ll wear with white Orans or Martiniano glove flats and an orange Bottega cassette bag for travels.

Quite long, I wore with sneakers but would recommend platforms if you’re short. (I’m 5’5). I got stopped all day, while shopping off Melrose, by people telling me they loved my dress!

So different…tons of compliments!!

Rented this same dress in the green in larger size and loved it. Unfortunately this was too small around bust. Will try to tent again in size larger.

Such a beautiful dress but size up!

I wish have would have rented the petite, the regular was too long. It was just alright. With the retail price, I was expecting it too be way prettier and feel more luxurious. It was ok, and looks like it does in the pics. Just wasn’t for me

Unexpectedly small for how it looks

I got an XS and fit me almost perfectly except I could not zip it up all the way. It almost felt like a product defect. I am a 32B... if anything, dresses are too BIG for me in the chest area ! I was able to pull the dress over me with it completely zipped but it was insanely tight, so could not wear it to my event.
