I sized up for some additional length, but with tights the small would have been fine. The cut outs in the back are so fun and bold, this dress is great!

The picture doesn't do it justice. Loved the sparkles. Danced all night. The sleeves were a few inches too long for me but I tucked them up and it worked. Loved the back of the dress too.

I wore this to see Miss Britney Spears for the second time. (And I wore another Parker sequin showstopper for my first time seeing Brit!) Great fit and the sequins aren't uncomfortable whatsoever, nor is the movement of the dress in general... which is of utmost importance when you're dancing to Britney in the very front row! The back of the dress is stunning and showed off just the right amount of skin to contrast the long sleeves and conservative neckline. (Just need a strapless bra.) I'm... a slave 4... this dress!

I wore this dress for my boyfriend's birthday. Since its in February it was still cold out so the long sleeves were great! The dress overall was a bit on the large size especially on top but it was also VERY short and showed a lot of leg. I loved the sequins and received a ton of complements! It was a lot of fun to wear and I would wear it again!

The fit of this dress was absolutely perfect. If there is something I would complain about it is that the straps on the back would gape every time I moved. The dress was slightly short, but nothing to worry about. It was very hard to reach for things due to the limit from the sleeves. Otherwise the dress was gorgeous and flattering. There is no stretch or give in this dress. It hugs every curve, and it looked Amazing! I got so many compliments. The back is so fun, so I wore my hair up. Paired with 3" black heels and red lips. I didn't wear any jewelry other than some tear drop earrings. The sequins are enough bedazzle for me. I found a few sequins in my closet and got sad because I loved this dress so much. Hated to send it back. Would most definitely rent it again.

I shined, stood out in the crowd, and received TONS of compliments all night long. The back of the dress was my favorite! The neckline was a little smaller than what I thought it was going to be. I thought the mouth would be a bit more wide based off of the picture on the site. It was definitely VERY short! but, didn't ride up at all and was still comfortable to sit down in. I would definitely rent this dress again for another special event...if I didn't already have so many other ones I wanted to try!

The dress is a little heavy and there will be pieces falling off all night long but overall I loved it. My only issue was how short it is, I do have a bit of a butt so that was my only issue.

The small and the x small were pretty similar, but I decided to go with x small for a more tight fit. I wore this to a mountain resort restaurant date with my fiancé. It's January and cold, so I wanted something to cover my arms. This is also why I decided to wear tights. Plus the dress is pretty dang short, so I felt more comfortable with tights. I didn't realize that it was made out of black and white sequins when I ordered it, but it's definitely fun and cool, and sexy because of the fit and the back detail!

Great dress but very short

I ordered this dress for a school banquet and got compliments all night. The back makes it unique and adds a little edge. Thought I would wear the XS but it was a little short and tighter than I felt comfortable in so I ended up wearing the S. The dress hardly rode up walking but did when I sat down. Overall it was a great fit and I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night! Thanks RTR for a great first experience.

I wore this on NYE to dinner with my husband. It is heavy, but the sleeves aren't. A small fit in the hips but was too big in the waist and ribcage area. The XS fit a lot better. I did lose some sequins, but it wasn't horrible. Since it was cold out and the dress is pretty short, I wore it with tights. You cannot wear a bra. I was happy with my selection..

The dress was heavier than I expected because of all the sequins, but that didn't bother me while I wore it. We went to a show, so the dress wasn't the most comfortable thing to sit 2 whole hours in, but it looked amazing!

I got this dress for a winter formal i had and i absolutely loved it. It's fitting but still quite flattering and would be great for all body types. It is a bit short but other than that the fit was great. I would 100% recommend!

I wore this dress to my work holiday party and it was a huge hit! I felt very festive throughout the night. The dress was riding up when I tried it on without the tights, but wearing tights with it helped keep it down and I didn't find myself fussing with it throughout the night. The sequins do get a little bit itchy over time, but not too bad. I also felt like the top part of the dress was a little stiff and felt caged in when I had someone hook the hook and eye up top, but I got used to feeling a tad constricted within 15 minutes or so. I wore my hair up for the event after reading some other reviews about the sequins catching your hair. My hair stayed pretty much in place, but the bottom parts near my neck did get stuck to sequins and pulled out after dancing for a while. Overall, loved this dress, perfect for a night out or for the holidays!

Amazing dress. I wish I owned it! It's definitely short but I'm pretty tall - not a sitting dress but was great for a party. I was worried because I have a large chest but I ended up just taping the girls down. Definitely isn't something you could wear a bra with. I felt like a million bucks and it was very flattering!!

So I generally wear a small but went with the medium because it was pretty short. I'm only 5'2" but maybe I'm just not into very short. The dress was AMAZING, very comfortable. I'm generally a kind of "cute" person and not glam but I felt super glam in this dress. I recommend it 100% and felt very sad to send it back to RTR :(

Fit was true to size. Wasn't too tights. It is a little on the short side.

I was able to wear a bra with one of those extension straps so that the band didn't show in the back.

NOT MEANT FOR GIRLS WITH BIG BUTTS I loved everything about this dress EXCEPT the fact that it was too short due to my rear end taking up a considerable about of the skirt length. My friends were on booty patrol all night. Definitely not a good dress to wear if you plan on dancing. Wore to Barrister's Ball (law prom) and (attempted to) interfered with my dancing. Would recommend for seated affairs or (calm) cocktail parties.

I wore this dress to a cocktail party/fundraiser. It was a fun dress to wear, albeit SHORT. I wore with black opaque tights which I think made it a bit less scandalous. FYI - this can't be worn with a bra because of the open back. Overall a fun dress.

I am very short (5'0") and the dress was still short enough for me which is rare - all you shorties out there understand! It sparkled like crazy in the stage lighting and definitely looked unique. It was a bit big in the midsection area, but with all of the sequins you couldn't really tell. I think the dress would fit someone who is 2-4" taller than me perfectly! All in all it was a great dress and fit the Rainbow Room vibe like a glove. There are some areas where it is losing sequins, but I don't think anyone would notice.

This dress is all sequins and definitely a true white and black although the models picture looked deceivingly silver. I recommend wearing your hair up to avoid getting caught in sequins and to show off the beautiful back. This dress would be stunning on a girl with an hour glass figure. I'm 5'6 and I wore 3 inch heels, the dress didn't seem too short for me and although the under liner rode up while dancing, the dress itself didn't. Perfect for pictures, didn't feel too heavy, although it is a little uncomfortable to dance in. Not itchy at all. The only con that stuck out to me was the material was uncomfortable for other to feel and while dancing I was told many time it hurts when my dress rubbed them. I wish there was a smaller size available. I was worried that the sleeve length would be too short but they were the perfect length. The dress was a perfect fit when very first put it on, but after a long night it began to stretch out and fit a little looser then I wanted it to. I was complemented on the dress all night long and was very sad to send it back. RTR has the best customer service I have ever experienced with an online store.

Fit pretty true to size, it is very short. I'm about 5'8'' and it hit at about the tops of my thighs. Some sequins were missing all around the dress but it was hard to tell

I wore this for my birthday dinner and night out in Vegas. The sparkles and cut out in the back are fun and perfect for Vegas. The dress is pretty short (I also have a butt so that might add to the shortness) so if you're tall it might not work for you. It's very fitted but flattering.

The dress was beautiful, but it is very delicate. I had to be careful moving around because there were already a few missing sequins when I received the dress. Overall, I liked the length and size.

Loved the color and style of this dress, it was not as fitted as I would have liked but it fit well enough to where I decided to wear it to a party. I did have to tape the back to me so it wouldn't be open. If you're very small you might want to think about another dress. I got the S and XS but didn't end up even try on the S because the XS was so big on me.

Usually I would opt to wear an extra small, but it was too short. The small still fit, was very comfortable, and easy to dance in. The dress appears navy blue on the model to me, but it is clearly black and white. The wow factor is the back of the dress. Great for a winter wedding since it's long sleeve.

I rented the S and M versions to take with me to Vegas. I tried them on once I arrived in Vegas and realized that both sizes were extremely short. I've rented other Parker dresses and didn't have a problem with the S or M! Luckily I was staying at the Cosmo and was able to go to the RTR store there and get the L. But even that one didn't give me much length.... =/ it's such a pretty dress I just wish it fit like the other Parker dresses I've worn. The girl helping me did mention that for whatever reason this specific Parker dress runs smaller than the others.

While the dress fit, the back that is supposed to close in the center was just too small to keep closed all night :( fortunately it was basically just two flaps that I could tuck under the shoulders of the dress so no one noticed. But, I was a little disappointed.
