Runs small so order up! So many comments on this dress, I loved it!!

I wore this dress for a night out. It was perfect for the occasion - fitted and short. The pattern was striking, and definitely stood out from the other blah-black dresses. I was extremely skeptical about whether this dress would fit me, given all the fit issues discussed in the other reviews. I only got a M since the L was not available at the time. The M fit perfectly, however, I don't think I would have been able to wear this dress for any other occasion. The dress is very structured and flattering. The only thing I did not like about this dress was that as the night went on, it started to crumple a bit around the waist, causing me to have to pull it down frequently.

Wore it to a gala... It was classy yet fun... Fabric is flattering. I want to rent it again!

LOVED this dress. Wore it to a Latin Grammy pre-party in Vegas. It's not the type of dress I would wear to just any event, but great for Vegas. It was a bit short for me, but it was November, so I wore tights and was completely comfortable, I felt super sexy. I normally wear a size 4 or 6 in dresses, and had to get the Large in this, so it runs a bit small. It's not too tight, has a bit of stretch. Other than the length, it's very comfy. You need to wear a strapless bra due to the slits in the front. Overall, love this and would wear again.

Wore with black cowboy boots to a Luke Bryan concert. It is perfect! It's short and tight but quite comfortable.

I loved, loved, loved this dress! It made me feel sexy, and my boyfriend loved it. I rented it for my birthday party, and the looks and the compliments in the restaurant were endless throughout the night. It's definitely short (even on someone my height), so taller ladies should be aware of that. The shoulder detail adds to the appeal of the dress, too - highly recommended!

It runs small but that's what I look for in a dress because I'm more petite so it was perfect. The thick fabric made the dress flattering and cut outs in shoulders added a little edge to the overall look. I wanted to keep it forever.

As the reviews said- this dress runs SMALL! I am consistently an XS/S or 0/2 and I had to wear a medium in this and it was fitted. The only other issue I had was the sleeve cut outs were a little baggy from previous wears but nothing noticeable. Other than those issues, this dress is stunning. The material is thick yet flexible and the colors are beautiful. I received so many compliments all night from friends and strangers alike. I went a little punk rock with the dress and styled it with a high top updo with corn row sides and some gold accessories. I loved it this way but the beauty of this dress is it can be styled so differently!

This dress has it all! The fabric is stretchy and form fitting and the pattern is beautiful yet forgiving. I especially like the soft feminine floral pattern in contrast with the exposed shoulder details. Get the size you think you are and a larger size as a backup. The small was tight - but his dress is meant to fit snugly. I highly recommend renting this dress for a girls night out, a hot date, or special event.

The medium was a bit small. I went to the soho store and 5th ave store and could not get a large. I was determined to rock this dress for my party. what did I do? zipped it up to where it could go and hooked the clip on top and made it look like the back was open. everyone swore that was how the dress came hahaha. genius right? anything for fashion :)

It fit a little snug but its supposed to hug your curves and it did just that. i went to a charity cocktail hour gala and everyone loved my dress.

This was over nighted to me in order to replace a dress that didn't fit right. This dress was perfect for me. I'm petite and have a small chest and wore a small. I'm usually a extra small. I received endless compliments and had people text me the next day how gorgeous and unique it was! It's a great dress.

The difference between the small and xs is basically in the shoulders. It is a bit short but I am only 5"2.

Fits true to size. Perfect length and just the right tightness. Material is thicker, so it was perfect for the early spring type of weather.

I LOVED this dress--it photographs beautifully!! This dress is made of a fantastic material that hugs your frame but still has enough give to move around in comfortably. The fabric is also thick so you don't have to worry too much about a VPL, but I wouldn't recommend it for an event where you anticipate getting sweaty. My only complaint is that the dress is little tight and awkward-fitting around the shoulders. Other than that, rent this dress if you want to make a statement. I guarantee no one else at your event will have a similar-looking dress!

Every single time I use Rent The Runway, it never fails that I get compliments left and right! This dress was no exception. I wore a medium, and it was pretty snug, but SO comfortable to wear. I don't know what fabric this dress is made from, but it it fit like a glove and I felt confident and beautiful all night long!

If you want feel sexy, look hot AND be comfortable - this is your dress! The fabric/ design is perfect for winter festivities while the unexpected shoulder cut-outs elevate this to cult status. So chic and classy. Originally rented for a friend's annual holiday party (big hit!) but loved it so much that I wore it the next night for dinner with friends from out of town, dressed down a bit with tall boots. The dress does run short but nothing that thick tights can't solve.

This dress definitely runs small. I tend to be an extra small and the small fit much better. I am 5'4 and it was a great length. The fabric has some stretch to it, but not very much.

Fun party dress in a luxe velvet fabric - the red is really vibrant. A little on the short side for us tall girls but I made it work. Plenty of room in the hips/thighs for curves. I run between a 2 and 4 usually, the small fit, but was snug.

Absolutely no complaints at all! I wore this dress to my sorority's formal and got so many compliments. I got the XS and S, ended up wearing the small. The XS fit really well, but was extremely short and rode up when I walked or moved really at all. But I am also 5'9. The small was longer but fit my bust loosely. Either way, it all worked out and I absolutely loved the dress and my first RTR experience. It was my first rental but definitely wont be my last!

Rented this dress for a Singles party my work threw in February. Can't remember for sure but think I went with the medium. It was form-fitting, definitely short - material that looked great on, cool shoulder cutouts. I wore it with tights because of the winter but not sure I would have gone without them either. The red and black was sassy, and I definitely stood out from the rest of the crowd in darker colors. Many compliments!

Perfect dress for a valentines day birthday party!!! Runs a little small in the bottom half. Would totally rent this dress again!

I wore this dress to an annual charity event that I am on the planning committee for. As a bachelor/bachelorette date auction, the mood of the event is fun, trendy and busy! I had multiple women come up to me throughout the night asking about my dress. The fit: this is definitely a TIGHT fit (I am typically a size 0 and the small was tight... the XS would never have fit.) But, the tight fit makes sense for the style, print and the cool accent on the shoulders. Would rent again if it wasn't so memorable for others! :)

I loved the color and pattern. I knew it was going to be short and tight, but I didn't think it was going to be THAT tight. I didn't even bother trying on the small and ended up wearing the medium. It rode up a little bit and I had to keep great posture all night, but the dress got so many compliments. I'd recommend it, but get a size bigger than you think you are.

Loved the dress, but it definitely runs small. Additionally, I'm a pretty short gal (5'3") and the dress was very short on me. All that aside, it was definitely a unique and fun look.

Ordered a S and a M. M didn't fit me but luckily my sister is smaller than me and was in town :) It fit her perfectly. She is 5'6'', 112 pounds and has a straight build. Recommend this dress for that kind of body type. I definitely needed a larger size with my athletic build.

Overall amazing dress! It definitely runs small. I ordered the S and M, and didn't even try the S on based on how snug the M was. I almost wish I would have done a M and L to have the option, but the M totally worked! Would love to have this dress in my closet.

Sassy, flattering, sexy. Perfect for a night out, or a dinner out with your significant other, but just not right for my occasion: a church wedding of a college friend. I am 5'5" and the skirt hem hit me at the upper thigh (similar to the model). Pros: The thick, soft material would be great for a fall occasion. The thickness of the material and the print also help hide a little tummy. The sleeves were flattering on my broad shoulders because they are a little longer than most "cap sleeves". Con: the shoulder cutouts caused the sleeve to ride up, which caused the black threads to bunch (see second photo). Very tight, runs small - I am normally a Small/Size 6, but ordered the Medium based on reviewers. The Medium did fit me, but with no room to spare. Will rent again for a date night with my fiancee.

Very well made with nice thick material. Very very tight so be sure to size up. I got the medium and large and didn't even attempt to try on the medium.

The dress fits great and almost acts as its own spanx, but the shoulders dont stay down very well.

I tried on the small, which fit, but ended up going with the medium because it was a TINY bit longer & not much else difference. The shoulders were a little weird on the medium- almost loose- probably would have been better on the small. Overall, loved it! Very bright, very cute fit, didn't have to pull it down at all throughout the night.
