I wore this fun and flirty dress to a cocktail event with my husband. I originally had on heels, but the dress is still a great look even with my sneakers. You'll want to wear complementary earrings, as the neckline isn't the most conducive to necklaces, albeit very flattering.

This dress fit true to size and was the perfect color for a spring black tie optional wedding on the ocean. The only downside was that is it tight, so don't expect to take long strides. Dancing in it worked fine though! You can wear a bra, but beware of the straps showing - I had to hide them a few times, but it wasn't a deterrence. Someone with a larger chest could probably go without a bra, but I wore one to give the dress more shape. It is definitely tight enough in the top to go braless. Would rent again!

This dress is beautiful! I wore it as a bridesmaids dress for a May wedding and it was a great choice. The 10 fit me really well, nothing was too tight or uncomfortable. Since reviews said it runs small I was very worried that I'd order the wrong size so I sized up for the main dress and for the backup size. I didn't end up needing the 12 but was glad I had it. Like some other reviews have mentioned the arm holes are a little larger than you might expect. It isn't noticeable once you have the dress on but makes selecting a bra more difficult. I ended up not wearing any bra or support and felt perfectly fine. The material is thicker so that definitely helped. You absolutely could wear this in the middle of the summer, it just doesn't breath very well. Lengthwise it hit just past my knees. The material doesn't have much of a stretch so you have to be a little careful going up stairs. I hope you find this review helpful!

This periwinkle dress fit me so well. The accents are extremely flattering. Didn't need a bra, but recommend nipple covers if not wearing one. Would have bought if more inexpensive!

Fit TTS. I didn’t need a bra, just wore nipple covers. Quite comfortable, classy, and a fun color! Some people have said this dress is hard to dance in, but I disagree - it has enough stretch in the hips to dance. Had a great time wearing it at a family wedding, would recommend!

Loved this dress for a party, I would not recommend for a wedding only because it is tight and if you're trying to drop it low (like me) then you're going to be restricted. However, it is so cute for any party, comfortable and flattering!!!! Loved this dress so much would rent again.

Rented this dress for a fun family party- perfect for dancing! Beautiful periwinkle color! Size up As runs small. I was a size 12 in most dresses at the time but the bodice w the asymmetry cut into my chest in the 12 and the 14 was much more comfortable. I am now a size 8 but I always size up for RTR gowns. I loved this dress and received many compliments.

I did not think I would like this dress as much as I did. Fit great (I thought a lil big) but felt very pretty and sophisticated.

The 12 was too big and the 10 was a tiny bit snug, but beautiful overall!

I loved this dress. This was for a wedding. There is not a slit in the back so stairs can be a little bit of a challenge. Dancing was not an issue. I received so many compliments!

I thought this was a great summer wedding dress! My only complaints are that the sleeve with the flutter shoulder was just a tad too long and I had to safety pin it to my bra strap, and it was a little long for someone like me who boarders petite. Otherwise it was super comfortable around my wide hips and wasn't too hot in the 100 F weather for the ceremony. Highly recommend!

You’re gonna need a strapless bra.

First time trying Rent the Runway! Normally, I wear a size 4 but I saw some people saying this ran large so I ordered a size 2 in order to be certain. I felt like the size 2 was still a bit loose around the waist and since I'm shorter, the dress went below my knees by about 2 inches - when in the photo it shows the dress just touching the knees. Overall it fit fine and I will definitely be ordering from here in the future!

I love the color and the accents in this dress. I'm a 6/8, and I fit into a 4. But if I were to order again I would get a 6. The material had a bit of stretch to it. But it was snug on my tush. It was double lined as well.

The satin lining on this dress means that it is SO COMFORTABLE. Soft and elegant, yet a total statement dress. Only qualm is that it greatly shortens stride length, but is fine for wearing high heels. Got lots of compliments on it! Wore it to work and felt like a (modest) bombshell!

Beautiful color, fitted but thick, slightly stretchy material. Run small. I am usually in 8 in dresses and needed a 10 in this dress with little room to spare. I am rather busty (36DD) and was unable to wear a bra, this is the only negative for me, but the thick material made it supportive. I would definitely rent this again!

I got SO many compliments on this dress!! I had to do a reading for the wedding and I was so nervous about people looking at me, but it was a hit! I loved the flowy pieces, they fall really nicely. Don't get confused by the shoulder, it works out. You do need a strapless bra, and not one that sits too high- the corner dips pretty low! It's a thick material and lined, so it hides lines well. It is snug but it holds you in. Also tight around the legs so a little difficult to walk. I LOVE THIS DRESS!

I absolutely love a statement piece! This dress along with the color stood out all night long! It does not have the best stretch but it is fully lined & great for chiller nights! It hugs the dress in all of the right places & most importantly I felt beautiful! At first I was not a fan of the dress, but I gave it a go & ended up loving it!

This dress is gorgeous, and the ruffle strategically hides a problem tummy. I received a ton of compliments in this dress and felt very classy. This was a business networking event and it fit the occasion perfectly. I would say it does run small, and if you have an hourglass figure you might even consider sizing up twice. I typically fall in a 14, but ordered the 16 as my backup. It fit, but revealed every single line. I had to wear full non control top pantyhose (in a very muggy September in VA) to avoid vbl and shape-wear lines. The zipper also had a strange bulge in the middle of the zipper, pulling the dress up or down didn’t help either. The dress also wrinkles pretty significantly when you’re seated... this picture is at the end of wearing it for about 4 hours.

Gorgeous color. Nicely finished with a thick satin lining so nothing rises up. Perfect fit. Very flattering. No vent in back so walking and going up stairs is slightly restrictive. Armholes were strangely low and narrow so my regular bra strap and even the side of the cup kept showing and I kept having to readjust.

Little tight up top for busty gals! Overall beautiful dress. Wore for an outdoor wedding in 100 degree weather but no sweat spots. Solidly lined dress even if it doesn't look like it.

This dress is flattering and classy

I thought I was wearing this to my son’s “semi-formal” house warming party but found out it was my “mother of the groom” dress at his surprise wedding! He was so pleased with my choice (made with his bride’s help!), he’d like me to buy it! Top fit tighter than bottom (5’5”, 150#, athletic/hourglass, 36c), but the 10 worked with my regular demi-bra.

I needed a last minute dress for a special event and rushed to the showroom in NYC. After trying on several other dresses, went with this one. I loved the color. Of course the size I needed wasn't avail, so I SQUOOZE into this 2, but really needed a 4.

Sorry I didn't get a pic w out the jacket. This dress has some give & is fully lined! Felt like good quality & loved the color! Interesting lines w out feeling overdone.
